Low volume during calls

I have the latest update and I have an iPhone 6. This started last week where I can barely hear the other person during a call.

The volume is set to high. Before that I would leave it to halfway to the top, and it was very good.

I reset my phone and did all the updates. Nothing has changed. Yes, I removed the plastic piece that covers the part of the phone when I bought it.

Help, please. I can only use my phone with an earpiece or speaker.

Dial 611 and call customer service to verify that the volume is low.

Take a video facing and the audio is usually mute or low as well.

The likely receiver has debris inside.

Take a brush (new) toothbrush and brush the receiver firmly and test the 611 appeal once again to test the volume.

  • volume during a call keeps returning to 50%

    as shown in the topic, whenever I have to place a new call (even on the internet calls, FB, Skype etc.) the volume during a call is set at 50%.

    I noticed this, because when I receive or make a call, the voice of the other guy call me or the 'sound' ringtone when I the a call is very low. So what I did is press the volume key to the top, looked at the screen to see if it is complete already. to my surprise the volume slider is located at halfway, until I have slide all the way up (100%) so that I can hear the sound of the headset.

    I wonder why or how this volume keeps coming back to halfway(50%) when a new call is made on appeal. It was as if the default value is 50% in-call volume even if I have the changed already to full (100%) in the last call.

    What can I do to make it default to full volume of appeal (100%)?

    BTW, this has past I think that after the update (26.1.B.2.147), my unit is M4 double Aqua (E2333).

    After watching, I discovered that the culprit was the Messenger of facebook.

    whenever I use the Messenger FB to make call/videocall, it automatically "presets" the call volume slider to half way down (50%). I followed a normal call immediately after the call FB, then my volume during a call is always 50%.

    However, if I did a normal call (with the volume during a call raised up to 100%) followed by other normal calls, it remains on 100% (or whatever the last call volume was normal). using the call new FB will ruin it again.

    I think that I have to deal with it, I use Messenger FB anyway.

    I bought the new iphone 64 GB 6s in the last week and noted that the volume of the earpiece is quite low.i can't hear calls properly.volume is ok with hands-free bluetooth and speaker kit and only has problem with earphone. I checked all the settings but nothing is useful, then please help as I am very bored with the poor performance of the phone.i follows adjustments, but nothing has worked for me

    It is my understanding that you experience low volume from your iPhone using a headset.  It is certainly not expected behavior.

    Looks like you have already made a good troubleshooting.  The next thing I would do is try another headset and see if the results are the same.  As obvious as it may seem, remember that the headphone is plugged all the way to the iPhone.  Don't forget to turn up the volume while you are actually on a call.  When not online, the volume allows you to control the music, alerts and other sounds on the iPhone, but not the volume of calls.

    Increase the volume

    While you are online, the volume with the volume buttons. Make sure that you see the on-screen volume indicator when you press the volume buttons.

    Check the connections

    If your iPhone is connected to a headset, you will not be able to hear through the receiver using speaker or the iPhone. Follow these steps, after each.

    1. Make sure you have nothing plugged into the headphone jack or the dock connector.
    2. Go to settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off.

    Turn off the receiver

    The receiver of the iPhone will not work properly if it is blocked or dirty. Follow these steps, after each:

    • Make sure that nothing is blocking the receiver, such as a case or a movie.
      If you have a new iPhone, remove the plastic on the front and the rear of the unit.
    • Check the receiver opening to see if it is blocked or dirty. If necessary, clean the receiver opening with a clean brush, dry, soft.
    • While you're online, turn on the speaker. If you still do not hear, then your network or the reception might be the issue. Try calling again later or somewhere else.

    Check the receiver

    Follow these steps to see if the problem is with your receiver or your network:

    1. Open the dictaphone application and record an audio clip.
    2. Type in the upper right corner of your screen to switch playback between the speaker and the receiver.
    3. Press on to play the voice memo by the receiver on your device.
    4. If you hear the voice memo and it seems normal (without distortion, crackling or static), there might be a problem with your network or carrier voicemail system. If you still hear no sound good or bad quality, contact The Apple support.

    Update and reboot

    1. Restart your iPhone and the test again.
    2. If there is still no good or bad sound quality, update to the latest version of iOS.

    Hey all!

    It's really annoying to have to adjust the volume in the Volume mixer upside whenever there is a new call. I have no volume of speakers set to automatic in the options, and I have no idea what else controls the adjustment for volume.

    It is not enough that Skype (now a Microsoft product) can't understand the audio, I use as ANY OTHER program (i.e. for other programs to plug my headphones is enough sound to be redirected here but NOT for Skype. For Skype, that I have to go into settings and change the sound output device!). I use Skype for a few years due to its good call quality, but if I can't find a solution for this I have to change to another similar product.

    My system is a 64Pro of Win7.

    All ideas will be more appreciated!

    There is a setting in Windows 7, I don't know about other versions - (tab Communications/sounds/Control Panel that tells Windows to automatically reduce the volume of other sounds when the PC is used to place or receive calls.

    Skype is SO smart that it reduces the volume of itself too when there is an incoming call, and so all incoming calls have a lower volume.

    To solve the problem simply to set the option to "do nothing"...

    .. .and continue looking for alternative software replace Skype. Unfortunately Ms. are actively trying to destroy a good thing...

    Hi all, I bought a used Tecra A3. With Win XP Professional, service pack 3. I have not all records with him.

    Please do not be angry on me, but make you it so complicated. Let's be clear on this:

    Saved on DVD of recovery recovery image contains the operating system, all necessary drivers, Toshiba tools and utilities and some additional applications such as a DVD player. So if you want to install the OS by using Toshiba recovery media will be deleted all content saved on the HDD, formatted partitions and lately OS will be installed. When all is finished you will have clean operating system preinstalled. It will be the same State as the first day after the default purchase.

    Then I don't understand what you mean now with the restore process. During the installation of recovery is complete you must not install or configure anything. Just boot OS, install your favorite software, install the Microsoft updates and be happy.

    I have problems with my own voice echo to me during calls sometimes. Is it for someone to another expreriencing this?

    The only known problem that is being investigated on the echo / audio blurred is when you are in a coverage area is very low and just before the general appeal falls. Please let me know if it has any other call audio problems.

  • The Bluetooth media suddenly got very low volume

    I was happily listening to Pandora via bluetooth for months, when all of a sudden about two weeks ago, the volume got so low I can barely hear it.  I checked the media volume control and it is bent full.  Bluetooth phone call volume still works fine and is generally of fort to operate in full.  I tried deleting and reinstalling Pandora, but no help.  I also tried another internet radio app (Slacker), but he also plays very low volume.  The only changes that I know are updates frequent free app I install I'm warned.

    Does anyone else have a problem like this?  Should I try a hard reset?

    I did and I had to wipe my phone bluetooth devices and reboot then re add devices.  This took care of it.

  • Too low volume of the microphone

    I just bought a new Toshiba Satellite L500D, with Windows 7, and I'm having a problem with the microphone volume, in this sound recording is barely audible.

    It's a built-in microphone and audio driver is Realtek.  I did a driver update check and it integrates the latest version.  I all set to maximum microphone volume settings and tried to test records Skype and sound recorder for Windows.  They record, but it is extremely low volume, even if I'm leaning closer to the microphone and speak loudly.  Different recipients of Skype call could barely hear me.  The only thing that saves the high voice is when I run a finger over matte plastic of the monitor frame - which saves super hard for some reason any.

    I welcome suggestions as soon as possible.  I need my microphone to get the work done!

    I hope that the people at Microsoft can remedy the situation as soon as possible, because it is crucial to set!

    I had this problem for a few weeks, I recently read a forum post saying uncheck the: allow applications to take exclusive control of the device:

    Well, I found this setting and changed a few others and I think that he has fixed

    I went through the control panel > hardware and sound > manage Audio devices to reach the acoustic Panel.

    And finally I went in the Communications of the acoustic Panel tab, changed "when windows detects communications activity" to "do nothing".

    Try reinstalling the audio driver...

    Follow these steps:

    1. click on start and then type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press on enter.
    2. from the list of devices, expand sound, video and game controllers.
    3. right click on the sound card, and then click on uninstall.
    4 restart the computer.

    After restarting the computer, sound card get installed automatically.

    If the problem persists, please upldate the audio driver following the steps mentioned below.

    I have a new dell inspiron 5050 w intel core 3 and windows 7 and internal microphone level is not high enough.  The level is set to 100 and up to 20 dB boost. Skype calls cannot be heard and sound tests have a very low volume.  I heard that maybe that's a problem with windows 7. Some of those who have upgraded to vista say they have the problem.  Driver update is grayed out. Thought of the back of computer.  Another solution?
