• DW 2015 update: Advanced question Options

  Probably stupid question; However, 20141, with its parameters, ftp etc, OK.  So I want to keep this version what update to 2015 for relief purposes.  So I remove the control by setting delete them older versions in Advanced Options.

  One question is: can I leave the control in the frame import precedents and preferences settings?

  Creative cloud offering more choice for Installations. Adobe Customer Care Team notes on the page: "of course, you are in control, so if you want to keep the old versions autour, or change if settings are migrated to the new version, you will be able to do as part of the installation process."

  So the question for a beginner like me is: If the settings are migrated to the new version and I chose to keep the old version of 20141, my version 20141 still has the settings it had before the 2015 updated?  And my first question, can I leave the check in the previous settings setting and import preferences?  If I let this will verified the settings to migrate to the new version, but also be kept in 20141?  I am confused/door on the term "migrate."

  This thread https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1876309 crosis lost all its ftp settings and he used the default settings on the update of 2015 and therefore had no previous versions to turn back to get the settings.  Was it a failed migration?

  In short, how can I, without screwing, to update until 2015 but keep my 20141 and its parameters, since losing the settings, including ftp settings, would be very expensive operations.

  Yes & Yes.  You can continue to use both.  If you uninstall the previous version, DW 2015 will install along side 2014. It is not replace your current settings of the site.  It's just their copy in the file appropriate in 2015.

  That said, when I create a site definition, I make it a habit to immediately export it and my FTP settings in a STE file which I store in a convenient & safe.  If your site definition file is damaged for some reason, or migrate to new machines, these STE files are very important to have.

  I also keep my server, MySQL & FTP connection information in a Rolodex card on my desk for reference.  You can never have too many backups. Whenever I have to change the passwords, I put on a new card and discard the old one.   A card Rolodex of costs of store office supply about $20 USD.

• Muse to Muse 2015 2014 - Widget questions! Help!

  I have built tons and tons of sites with Muse over the years, and I've recently updated to 2015 of Muse. Now most, if not all the widgets of the previously generated sites, do not work when published on the web. In particular widgets 'Menu '. I even tried to use a menu widget directly from the Muse 2015 library, and it does not work either.

  Oh, and by the meaning of "does not work", you cannot change the tabs.

  I see no problems with the link you provided. Everything seems to work properly. One thing to remember is that the first time you publish a site after that update of Muse, it's that sometimes you have to download the entire site not only files that changed the first time you make changes.

• Export since the 2015.6 update questions

  Since the 2015.6 update I'm having issues export pictures to web sites. Export to the hard drive seems to work without problems. Export to Meetup and Facebook blew up after a few images. Have not yet tried SmugMug. Seems to have started after the 2015.6 update. The error message for Meetup is one of their site. If I export on my hard drive first, and then up to Meetup there no problem. Same goes for Facebook. I updated plugins for sites with no improvement.

  Anyone else see this problem? Any entry form Adobe?

• MP4 to 2015.4 first question

  This is the second time that this has happened.  I'm working on a project on a laptop via an external SSD.  When I get home I load it on my computer and the. My C100 MP4 files and the GoPro will not load to the top, even if other projects that started on the computer and not portable loading fine.  When I try to manually connect the audio mp4 will not load.  Can you please offer a solution or at least recognize that it is a bug.  The last time I had to import via XML to CS6.

  I've tried purging the cache and deleting files from scratch.

  What happens is when I start and create a project on my computer, then go to work on it remotely on my laptop, the cache files are not reconnect (probably since the letter drive config changes during recording on laptop).  I was able to solve this problem of deletion of cache and preview files and avoid future problems.  I selected check cache/previews of the media next to originals when possible. Seems to have worked but certainly looks like a bug since the CC can not move the original cache files and doesn't want not to republish the MP4 and simply recreate the cache file once I have manually locate.

  I updated my computer for the el capitan later and it fixed it

• HAVE CC 2015: 'performance GPU' questions - fuzzy contours / warped / missing (screenshots attached)

  I am facing a problem where the lines thin / contours appear blurry and distorted when the performance of the GPU is turned on. Sometimes they disappear completely.
  Someone having problems with this, or someone has understood how to correct?

  Try to disable features of the gpu and see if your problems are still there. To my knowledge the gpu features are still a beta feature that can cause Visual problems.

• Could the developers of Firefox please re - implement the functionality that allows you to set a specific webpage for recently open tabs (as prevented from 2015-Oct-03)?

  This question is more for developers and users.
  With the introduction of new controls tab an hour or two there is the subject: Config, definition of browser.newtab.url is no longer works. I found this feature very useful, and many don't like new tabs display of my pages preferred in form of icons (or other), or just to be a Virgin.
  If this question does not reach developers (people who I'm and all Firefox users are in debt, although not financially), could they consider adding a parameter new tab control that provides the ability to define a selected page that may not necessarily be the homepage?

  Hi, 41 of Firefox, you must use the add-on tab override (browser.newtab.url replacement), to make changes to the page tab.

  Once installed, open the Add-ons (Ctrl + Shift + A) Manager > Extensions, and then look for the new tab override and click Options to set your preference.

  Notice, if you want only the new tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the Add on new tab homepage instead.

  You will then need to restart Firefox for all changes to take effect.

• Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 lance is not on Windows 10 Pro.

  Hi all

  I've just upgraded to Pro 8.1 Windows Pro 10 Windows and have problems with most of the programs Adobe CC. I use Illustrator as and would help to know what the problem is. I chatted with a few support technicians but didn't get anything yet.

  I have a self built PC with motherboard from Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK, Intel Core i5 4690 K, 32 GB of DDR3, Nvidia GTX 980Ti, operating system and the programs are installed on a 256GB Samsung 840 EVO and my documents and data are on a 1 TB Seagate hybrid drive. Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 was working perfectly until I did an upgrade on Windows Pro 8.1 for Windows 10 Pro site.

  At the launch, I get pop-up that says "Error loading plugins." followed by a long list of plugins and an OK button at the bottom, when I click 'OK' then I receive a popup that says "the operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [IMPORTANT] "with an OK button, this popup appears twice in a row. Illustrator now works without any tools, as soon as I try to click on anything anyone in the bar upstairs, for example, file > new, I get a Windows popup stating "Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 has stopped working". Illustrator, then closes.

  
  

  What I tried:

  1. Removed and reinstalled Illustrator CC 2015. Same question.
  2. Removed, run Adobe Cleaner and reinstalled Illustrator CC 2015. Same question.
  3. Removed from 2015 and installed legacy Adobe Illustrator CC 2014. Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 works perfectly.
  4. Upgrade of 2014-2015 through the Adobe Creative Cloud program. Original question came back.
  5. I deleted all the programs Adobe CC and office program creative cloud, creative re-downloaded and all my programs, same problem.

  All the other Adobe programs I have installed as well as their current errors if they relate.

  • Photoshop CC 2015-
    • The program cannot start because MSVCP110.dll is missing on your computer.
    • The program cannot start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer.
  • First Pro CC - 2015

  Worked for me. Thank you. I noticed that only what default print is 'Nitro PDF Creator (Pro 9)"accident of Illustrator. But when I change to another default printer the problem is solved and I can create a new document.

• Since the update to 2015 CC, "Save for Web" crashes whenever I have it try. Is there a new way to save pictures off in many sizes?

  Hey everyone, since I've updated for Creative Cloud 2015, whenever I have tried to use the option 'Save for Web', Illustrator will crash all trying to render the preview. I understand that save for web was marked as legacy in Photoshop - so I feel this feature is on its way out the door. So, I was wondering if there is another way to save an image in many sizes? It was my main reason to use save for web. Under export I don't see the option for several sizes. Thank you!

  Personal Adobe works with issues save for Web, but it can take some time.

  Some have re-established CC 2014 because of this.

  If uninstalled, you can reinstall CC 2014.

  Or from the tab versions in the app management CC using the CC Office management application, you should be able to go to the top gear icon on the right. Find the Illustrator set up and that there should be an option of previous Versions that you can develop.

  Or go to your console CC > menu APPS, then scroll down to find additional applications and the right to it see you blue text (probably all applications.) and choice of menu, open it and jump a little below in black letters menu (video, etc.) there is a blue line SEE the PREVIOUS VERSIONS, click on it, you will see the names of all the software without number , click on install and you will see all earlier versions to install according to your choice.

• Apple has messed up my Trackpad

  I don't know where to take this problem, other than the Apple Store again, here. But a few weeks ago, Apple repaired my MBP 2015 for some questions and also replaced the "top box w / battery," which includes the trackpad, I guess. After you got at the moment, the trackpad felt fragile and quiet clicks did not. So I had to take back to the store for them to replace it again. They did, even if the trackpad feels not quite as bad as it did before, it feels quite as premiums as all other Macs I've used, and as it did when I bought my laptop. He was always a quiet, physical, sound that, with this laptop, should not be the case.

  Take it for repairs? It seems no matter how much they "fix", it is not where it should be.

  I suggest that take you this appointment at the genius bar Apple store.  Prior to the appointment, test display templates to determine if you can detect differences with the trackpads compared with yours.  If so, ask the technician to test with you so that you may be able to arrive at a mutual understanding.  Should you feel the lack of cooperation, to degenerate into upper management, but at all times be polite but firm.  The solution resides on the Apple store, not here.

  a single user license allows only one person to use the programs.  It is a violation of tos for two people to split the programs, even if they never both use the same program

  It gives me the following error message.

  I am trying to install on a 64-bit computer to Windows 7 with 16 GB of RAM and 361 GB of disk space.

  I installed Photoshop CC (2015) before this question and Lightroom CC (2015) after this issue so it doesn't seem like a problem of firewall/internet on my end. I install InDesign as I type.

  I looked around on Google but I was not able to find a solution that seems to do the trick. I tried to uninstall/reinstall and pretty much has the same error. Whenever reference is made to the folder Extras Cool and legal case. The scripts folder was mentioned on a few attempts but not others.

  I looked at running the Adobe Creative Cloud Clean Up tool but only Photoshop, Lightroom and the creative cloud to appear under individual programs, Illustrator is not listed.

  Any help or ideas would be really appreciated because I'm stumped as to what to do next. Thanks in advance for your help and your time.
