• Can the License Manager load the computer license first, instead of the license based on users?

  We have several machines in the lab with licenses computerized on them and a number of technicians who have licenses based on users.   Hey Joe,

  In the license file on the license server, you may be able to manually change the tag "sort" in the file to change the order in which VLM withdraws licenses. Licenses are checked in descending (2, then 3, then 4, etc.). As a general rule, your license file is set up in a default order, but in special cases like this, it may be advantageous to change the order. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. open the license file with a text editor (such as Notepad)

  2. search for the tag "flows out". For example, the entry "VLM_Core" will sort tag value will appear as "sort = first". Do not change this value. VLM_Core must always be the first.

  3. change the value of sorting tag for the license to the computer named to a value less than the value of sorting tag for the named user license. (for example 'sort = 2"for named computer and 'sort = 3" to the named user).

  4 save the file and reinstall the license.

• R050sa flow 11: Activation fails after a clean install on laptop pre-installed Windows 10

  I just bought a HP notebook 11 r050sa stream with Windows preinstalled Home 10, but could not start when it opened its doors to the top (circle kept spinning turn for hours).

  As I was intending to do a clean install anyway, to remove any HP bloatware, I decided to delete all partitions and perform a new installation from a USB key using the official Microsoft Media creation tool for Windows 10 Home https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10.

  Installation went well but the activation failed indicating that I have "do not have a digital right.

  How is this possible, since the PC came with Windows preinstalled 10? How can I get my license back?

  There was a surprising new twist in this question, should I report it here in case someone else is in the same situation.

  When I received the activation failed I reported to my original request, I had done the installation using the edition entitled 'Windows 10 unilingual homepage' (see figure below), which seemed to me the only option if I wanted to install "Windows 10 home" which is preinstalled on my laptop.

  Yesterday I did a last attempt at creating USB installation after selecting 'Windows 10' (see figure below). Yet once, I removed all partitions on disk and performed a completely clean install on my HP notebook 11 r050sa flow.

  The result is that, in the end installation smoothly, I found my computer with installed "Windows 10 Home" and fully active, without the need to insert an activation key of windows, with all the drivers installed automatically by Windows and without any HP bloatware!

  I'm puzzled by the outcome, but happy...

  

• Office 365 on tablets of future flows

  Hello

  I'm hoping to buy a tablet in data flow when it will be available in the United Kingdom later this year. I appreciate it will come with 1-year subscription to Office 365 Personal. However, I already have a subscription to Office 365 family where I allowed 5 PCs and 5 tablets. I've exhausted all 5 of PC devices but only 2 tablets (iPad). Does anyone know if the tablet of flow would be considered as a tablet or a PC. If she is considered to be a PC I have no devices left on my subscription to support. However if it is considered to be a Tablet, then I would be able to use it on my subscription.

  I understand that you have questions about the license for your MS Office 365 for the Tablet HP Stream.

  To be honest I can't answer this question that HP does not control the license to a Microsoft product in some way. I personally cela a Tablet, not a PC but it's to Microsoft how you determine the difference between PC and tablet. They can be based on the operating system or simply by the title of feature.

  I would say to contact Microsoft directly, because they will be able to answer your question correctly: Office 365 Virtual Agent (Contact Support).

• SFR in license cluster mode?

  If I run two ASAs in cluster mode, is there a special setting that I need to do on the modules of sfr?

  The pair of cluster ASAs forwards traffic to the two modules of sfr?

  Documentation is very vague on the subject of sourcefire, clustering, everything he says really is to "maintain a coherent policy on the modules of sfr and do not use areas during your period.

  Are there additional licenses required? IE I have control of x 2 + protect however only 1 AMP / URL license

  Does this mean that only SFR modules can process the malware and URL filtering?

  Are you running the ASAs in a pair of Active-Standby HA with module of firepower on each of them?

  If so, the licensing of the modules must match each module. Otherwise, you will not be able to appply URL filtering and policy file (AMP) on one of the modules.

  If the ASAs are truly in a cluster 2 nodes (not active-Standby) so it is even more important that licenses match because only by flow of traffic can take another Member as a transfer device.

  Ideally simply build you a set of policies in the Management Center FireSIGHT and apply them to two modules of firepower.

• Question about VCS 7.1 Media flow-thru

  We currently have a way to call that looks like this:

  Endpoint (SIP and H323) > VCS control > VCS - E (SIP and H323) neighbouring area > firewall > neighbouring area to the CUBE (NOT only).

  When the VCS-E they interact SIP to H323 he directed media flow-thru allowing traffic through the firewall because it proxies all media and signaling.  However, if the call all the way SIP, it will proxy the call signaling but not the media.  Right now, we have it working, but we need to convert SIP H323 calls then back to SIP for it to work.

  Is there a way to force the VCS-E to proxy all media to the CUBE, rather than some media of interoperability calls?  I know it's usually what a crossing area is for, but AFAIK that does not work when you use CUBE to VCS-E.

  VCS - E has obviously the hardware capacity and processing to do this (because he now works via workarounds) so I hope that there is a way I can do a little more cleanly.

  VCS - c to the-e probably works, but you should know how it behaves for really knowing why

  to use it, and a hack so save licenses is often not the best starting point.

  You can configure the routing of locking media which will link the media to the vcs-e.

  (this may not work with all types of areas, at least all the profiles of the area, but at least it does with custom)

  There are other options that might be of interest as setting routed to this area for ever,

  On the ISR G2 1941 with SECURITY license on IOS 15 technology...

  1. Are ipsec VPN for remote access is supported?
  2. If so, do I buy any other feature of the licenses for the number of "seats"? (SSLVPN for example, even if I do not wish to use SSLVPN, only of the IPSec remote access)

  I'm afraid I can't give you the exact number because it depends on the composition of traffic and encryption settings.  In practice, it is always best to test these things in real life.

  One thing I can tell you, is that to get maximum performance, you ought to securityk9 and hseck9 for routers licenses. See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10616/white_paper_c11_556985.html#wp9001382 for more information.

  As you can read on this page without the license hseck9 the router will be limited to 85 Mbps of encrypted throughput, of course it depends on your situation if you can reach this value.

  C2900 router is a powerful platform, but it requires the license of security for VPN support.

  The SSEC-K9 license removes the reduction applied by the US Government on the encrypted tunnel and encrypted flow export restrictions. SSEC-K9 is available only on the Cisco 2921, 2951 Cisco, Cisco 3925, 3945 Cisco, Cisco 3925th and 3945TH Cisco. With the SSEC-K9 license, the ISR G2 router can go above the limit of the reduction of the maximum of 225 tunnels for IP (IPsec) security and the flow rate of 85 Mbps of one-way traffic in or out the ISR G2 router encrypted, with a total of 170 Mbps bidirectional / s.

  Cisco 1941 and 2901 2911 already have maximum encryption within the limits of export capabilities. The HSEC license requires pre-installed image of the universalk9 and license DRY.

  I would like to know what would happen to traffic exceeding maximum encrypted traffic supported?

  With the current ASR1001 module of ESP 2.5 G, Cisco supports up to 1 Gbps of traffic encrypted IPSec.

  -My question is what happens to the excess traffic (over 1 Gbit/s) which must be encrypted, will be the router down the excess traffic or pass it through as plain text?

  What we quote as flow rate max is not a limitation of the software (with a few notable exceptions of license on the G2 of SRI and CSR).

  What you'll find in general, is that the packages will be discontinued due to taildrop in multiple queues (depending on the platform, it must be monitored in different ways).

  VPN is based on strategies or route, routing, or policy does not change due to the load of the device/link (not directly anyway, it could be argued that just PFR which would accomplish).

  We are currently in place a complete infrastructure of App-V 4.6 SP2 in our Organization, and we have all applications stored in a SMB file server. We have two App - V Management servers related to a balancerto load. In addition, we have configured the ApplicationSourceRoot registry key in the machines of Client pointing to the SMB file server. The flow of applications successfully from the SMB file server. So far everything was fine.

  However, when we try to implement the licensing options we see that App - V licenses work with RTSP protocols. In addition, we tried all the best we can, but we could not implement RTSP streaming from a SMB file server.  Protocol of RTSP protocol leader changes: / / with the use of the ApplicationSourceRoot registry key.

  Can anyone suggest a work around for this problem, where we can implement App - V license with the spreading of the SMB file?

  I doubt that you will get a response from Adobe (of course, we'd love to). In the largest regular personal companies is forbidden to comment on or explain the terms of the license, because it is the job of the company lawyers, who were paid to produce the license, which is the definition of what is allowed and cannot be changed by a member of staff to tell something. Since you can't speak to the lawyers of Adobe (and they do not represent interests), when it comes to the interpretation of licenses, you must use your own lawyer.   I've been using Adobe products for over 20 years and I have invested a lot of time perfecting my skills and Evangelical zeal in promoting Adobe products. At this point, I would say I am an expert on many of your pieces of software.

  When CC was announced, I went with the new regime to ensure the stability of your income by making your sales more predictable. However, for me this has been created by a small studio running, heavy loads. To be precise, I am an Illustrator/animator solo and as such, I run a lot of software 3D and special effects that often require the power of multiple machines to render images or calculate simulations of complex effects. I use four, three desktop machines and laptop computers. In my work, I am constantly bounce autour between three machines that often are buzzing away on their own, rendering frames or calculation of flows of fluids, etc. (my ghost employees), when you are free I will propose this one for creative work, often using one or more of your products (my go - for Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator products each with a gazillion plugins) , First, After Effects, and InDesign. This is where the authorisation scheme that currently exists is problematic: I feel constantly activate and disable machines so I can switch between them. To say the least, it is a royal pain.

  What I would say to the creations in small studios like mine, it's that we are allowed to add more machines to the pool under license. In other words, I don't mean to run creative software cloud simultaneously on several machines, but have rather more machines available to select when you run an application. Other software I use has what is called a floating license option, but allows me to use one copy of the software at the same time on a single machine, you s to me which machine is used. Such a scenario makes much more sense for smaller studios like mine, and I don't know that I'm not alone to deal with this problem. I realize that if extrapolate you what I mean too far, things could get out of control, and it might deform your turnover, so it would make sense to charge a top small-supplement to the licensee to increase the number of machines available - perhaps with an upper limit of the machines also licensed as well.

  Currently, my only option is to double my monthly subscription to $100 spending, which is $ 600 per year just to have greater convenience, (oh and a second Adobe ID with another email address just to make things more complicated.)

  Please seriously consider changing your strategies in this regard, since it is a real thorn in my (and I'm sure as the other) side.

  Images of Adobe are not updated in the library when a license always naked and the watermarks, unless it is downloaded to the desktop. When will this problem be resolved?

  It's slow the flow of work and extremely frustrating when the seamless integration was an important reason regarding, reason why we bought this package.

• I just paid for 2 licenses and adobe said I do not have a license on file for one, what "bad?

  I just paid for a 2015 Adobe first CC license for $19.99 a month, I did the same thing for Adobe Photoshop.  However, when I try to open one of these specific applications, the screen tells me that I have no license on file for those two Apps (they are the only two I have initially).  I paid for both of them with flow using what money I had left on my account.  Is there a way I can check my purchase history.  @Please someone tell me that I did not just get out on about $42.00 jipped.
