• DW 2015 update: Advanced question Options

  Probably stupid question; However, 20141, with its parameters, ftp etc, OK.  So I want to keep this version what update to 2015 for relief purposes.  So I remove the control by setting delete them older versions in Advanced Options.

  So the question for a beginner like me is: If the settings are migrated to the new version and I chose to keep the old version of 20141, my version 20141 still has the settings it had before the 2015 updated?  And my first question, can I leave the check in the previous settings setting and import preferences?  If I let this will verified the settings to migrate to the new version, but also be kept in 20141?  I am confused/door on the term "migrate."

  In short, how can I, without screwing, to update until 2015 but keep my 20141 and its parameters, since losing the settings, including ftp settings, would be very expensive operations.

  Yes & Yes.  You can continue to use both.  If you uninstall the previous version, DW 2015 will install along side 2014. It is not replace your current settings of the site.  It's just their copy in the file appropriate in 2015.

  That said, when I create a site definition, I make it a habit to immediately export it and my FTP settings in a STE file which I store in a convenient & safe.  If your site definition file is damaged for some reason, or migrate to new machines, these STE files are very important to have.

  I also keep my server, MySQL & FTP connection information in a Rolodex card on my desk for reference.  You can never have too many backups. Whenever I have to change the passwords, I put on a new card and discard the old one.   A card Rolodex of costs of store office supply about $20 USD.

  I ask because I open/asked my first question "Desktop and personalization", for lack of a better forum. "Troubleshooting the system" or "System inquiry" would better describe the nature of my question, but none exist.

• Muse to Muse 2015 2014 - Widget questions! Help!

  I have built tons and tons of sites with Muse over the years, and I've recently updated to 2015 of Muse. Now most, if not all the widgets of the previously generated sites, do not work when published on the web. In particular widgets 'Menu '. I even tried to use a menu widget directly from the Muse 2015 library, and it does not work either.

  Oh, and by the meaning of "does not work", you cannot change the tabs.

  I see no problems with the link you provided. Everything seems to work properly. One thing to remember is that the first time you publish a site after that update of Muse, it's that sometimes you have to download the entire site not only files that changed the first time you make changes.

• Export since the 2015.6 update questions

  Since the 2015.6 update I'm having issues export pictures to web sites. Export to the hard drive seems to work without problems. Export to Meetup and Facebook blew up after a few images. Have not yet tried SmugMug. Seems to have started after the 2015.6 update. The error message for Meetup is one of their site. If I export on my hard drive first, and then up to Meetup there no problem. Same goes for Facebook. I updated plugins for sites with no improvement.

  Anyone else see this problem? Any entry form Adobe?

• After update 2015.1 first won't open. Earlier versions work fine. I get an error pop up and that's it.

  I went to try the trial version of the new first 2015.1, and while all earlier versions worked, 2015.1 update is not yet open and gives me an error pop up.

  Yes, we are working on a fix and it will soon go out (no ETA)

  For now, the only solution is to go back to the previous version of Premiere Pro.

  Adobe is aware of the problem and working on a fix.  We do not know when he will come.  For now, turn this feature off to avoid the constant error message.

  But the thing is, SOUL IS installed. I even uninstalled and reinstalled SOUL CC 2015. Is it possible to link these two programs? I know that I'm missing the obvious answer.

  To the queue of Premiere Pro to the SOUL, versions must match between these applications.  Thus, you need to install the first Pro CC 2015 in order to SOUL CC2015 queued.  First Pro CC2014 links only to the SOUL CC2014.

  I've updated recently for first pro CC 2014 and I'm working on a project that is already overdue.

  I had a few little problems, so I thought that after upgrading to the most recent version, all would be well.

  I just started first and opened my project and had an error message like this guy

  Premiere Pro CC 2014 seems corrupt projects created with earlier versions

  Then I deleted the files preference and the project could be reopened.

  But the MP4 files did not open and the MEDIA OFFLINE imagem

  (and I have a LOT of MP4 files that worked absolutely fine before)

  I tried to make the connection again, but it didn t work.

  I tried to drag and drop files MP4, it didn t worked too. (media file is)

  I renamed the folder ADOBE \user\appdata\local and roaming twice.

  I tried to start with ALT SHIFT to remove preferences againa - didn t worked too.

  I tried to reinstall Quicktime.

  I tried to reinstall the K-Lite codec pack.

  I REALLY need your help before the formatting and all from scratch.

  So if you came here looking for an answer, this is what worked for me:

  (be told me voce quer uma resposta em Português)

  -Exit all software adobe (including clouds)

  -Remove the preference (adobe) folder in my documents.

  -Rename the folder Adobe \userfolder\appdata\roaming and \userfolder\appdata\local to old.adobe

  -Uninstall a codec package that you may have installed

  -Uninstall first via Add/Remove programs

  -Find *.xmp files and remove all the

  -Rendered remove files from your project folder too.

  -Restart the computer

  -Use a registry utility to clean your computer of the tracks (I use Glary Utilities)

  -Install the first Pro CC

  -Restart the computer

  -Install Quicktime 7

  -Restart the computer

  -Everything should be good now.

• Media encode/first Question Pro!

  Hey guys, first post here, been with Premiere Pro and the CC for a few years now.  I've never had this issue before and I wonder if it's my source material, so this is.

  First, I turn to a studio of local access TV show.  I've shot tons of things before, but with my cameras and equip, now I use their cameras that are not SD card or anything of the sort, they are connected to the system that create a RAW .mov file.  This RAW .mov file will show video and play audio if I'm watching it via VLC, but does not display any video in Premiere pro, once I import it into.  I thought Media Encoder would take care of it, but see in Media Encoder video black screen in media encode in the screen preview and once completed.  The original material is not good but that shouldn't matter and give as much information as possible, the cameras there are more than ten years.

  The .mov RAW file's Video bitrate audio and 26318 Kbps to 1536 kbps 48 kHz.  The computer I use is an Intel Core i7 - 4770 K CPU

  @3. 5 GHz with 16 GB of RAM.  I still use windows 7 64-bit on this system.  Now, I tried the same thing on my computer edition laptop and the same results.  The laptop is completely up-to-date for Premiere Pro and Media Encoder also.

  I'm waiting for the tech guy from the studio back to me, but it is not today and I should be changing this!  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?  I've been googling and check the codecs to see how I can solve this problem, but nothing I've tried up to now does not work.  Soon, I can reinstall just the whole thing (my internet is very slow so been avoiding that, will have to do it while I SLEEP).  Thank you for your time and your advice!
