LR 3 error "check internet connection.

For the last few days I get "unable to connect, please check your internet connection" when you try to download or synchronize images on a website through LR. Today, I get this error message when you try to publish on Flickr:

"Cannot update this cllection. An internal error has occurred: the download of the specified resource has failed. Error during processing of resources ""http://www.w3.org/TR/html/4/loose/dtd. " "

Naturally, I went to this site and there is nothing there.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, then tried to go back to a pre-uninstall but restore point that the operation failed.

Disable my firewall does not help.

Is anyone able to help me solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,

JO

The internet connection problem turned out be a problem with IE, which I never use. However, running the reset IE allowed me to connect and use the uploader in bulk from Flickr.

Not too surprised, that is to say has roots in windows that are deeper than Firefox.

Unfortunately, I now have a new problem: when I try to connect in LR on Flickr and click allow, the link opens in MS Word instead of my web browser.

What is the url of the link?

It seems that your browser needs to be reconfigured to handle extensions stolen by MS Word or MS Word shall be reconfigured to renounce the extensions that must be processed by your browser. I don't want Setup a little preference app necessarily - perhaps extension handling in the control panel?

you have to start the application of office cc, at most, once every 30 days.  and if you have an annual subscription, simply start it once all the 91 days.

so, in your cc preferences, uncheck "Start on login" and close it.

    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: ipconfig / renew 3. Check if the problem persists.

    Step 2: Winsock Reset
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: netsh winsock reset
    3. check if the problem persists.

    Step 3: Reset TCP/IP
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note: If you do not specify a path of the directory for the log file, use the following command: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
    3. restart the computer.
    4. check if the problem persists.

  • ICS 765 error code: Internet connection sharing cannot be enabled.

Well, I get this message every time I try to share my internet through like an Ad - Hoc or anything else at all. "Cannot enable shared access.  Error 765 ICS cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP addressing. Sense, I can't do it like my xbox live or anything. Oh, I use an our phone company wireless internet card and it is installed on the same laptop to my father, and share us through an ad hoc when he uses it, that would be the problem?

    Thanks for any help!

    -Buki

Copied from Richard to Yahoo answers. It worked for me.

"ICS in Windows assigns always 192.168.0.1 to the network adapter that is used to connect other devices to customer that you want to share the Internet connection. For example, if you have an Ethernet cable from your computer to the Internet (for the modem or router) and a WiFi adapter that will provide a wireless network for other devices to connect to, then the WiFi adapter will be given the address 192.168.0.1.

However, if any other adapter (or adapters if there are more than two network interfaces on the computer) using the 192.168.0.0 subnet, then sharing does not work correctly because you will have two adapters will try to use the same subnet.

The most likely cause is that you have a router between your computer and the Internet, and the router is configured to use the 192.168.0.0 subnet. If this is the case, log into the router and change its subnet. For example, if the router is set to 192.168.0.1 as its address, change it to 192.168.1.1. Restart the router and the computer.

If you had set up a static address on your computer for the Internet connection, you will need to make a change similar to the addresses of the computer (IP address, gateway address, and DNS address). If your computer uses DHCP to obtain its address, then it updates automatically when you restart the computer. »

    Good luck.

I just changed my routers ranging from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 subnet and sharing works fine now.

  • Internet connection sharing (6) error during installation of nintendo wifi connector

"sharing the internet connection (6) error" appears when I try to install a nintendo wi - fi connector (to connect between my wii and computer for netflix). I have high speed dial-up (canada), but apparently can use wi - fi connector to talk about the wii. with the first installation, it worked well enough to allow the wii. but the wii could not connect to netflix.
the first time I had hung it, I ended up uninstalling and now when I try to reinstall it, this error message appears.
When I got the wi - fi connector connected the first time, I did it with my antiviirus running program: the help site suggested to uninstall then reinstall the wifi band program. so this time (after you have uninstalled it), I disabled the antivirus, but now get the error message.
I have a call in nintendo, but fear that it is a problem of microsoft xp.

I don't have personal experience with this, but the title claims that it fixes your exact problem: Guide to fixing ' error (6) Internet connection sharing
