• Can I install the Adobe 9 PPD as a CC postscript printer to distill the separations of InDesign files?

  I sometimes use the Adobe 9 PPD to create separations files which I can distill to PDF documents in InDesign CS5.5. Can I use this same postscript printer driver in my newly installed InDesign CC? I have no real postscript printer, but the pilot has served the purpose of allowing me to create files for purposes of printing separations.

  A PPD is not a PostScript driver, but I don't see why you couldn't use it in InDesign CC2015.  But it's really a question for a forum of InDesign.

• PostScript printer driver files does not.

  When I download the file to my mac postscript printer driver, I get a file it is. Installation instructions say to copy 'PDFPlugIn and the file Acrobat Distiller (PPD)' in the extensions folder. But I can't get the file it is nothing to do. StuffIt expander develop and the file it is in the extensions folder doesn't seem to do any good.

  I think we should try to get a different PPD than this one.

  You can download the Acrobat 9 PPD for use with InDesign/Illustrator to help with your Postscript output file.

  You can replace the path of the InDesign file with Illustrator one to reproduce the steps.

  Ultimately, however, I honestly had to select 'Other' in the selection of PPD and steer them toward it manually.

  In this way, it's just a pure PPD, not a file of the SEA.

• Where can I find the print files

  Hello fellow Mac'ers

  I sent a file from a PC to my Macbook using Hello. I do not see the files in the print queue or anywhere else, but now I get pages virgins churning of my laser printer.

  I can't print from the Mac in the form of files what if producing blank pages prevents all other files sent to the printer
  If I can find where the print files are sent, I hope that, by removing the file/s, the problem can be solved.

  I restarted the printer, the Mac and the PC and also deleted Hello.

  Hoping someone can shed some light on this problem

  Based on the information, you try to find the object of the 'Neighbourhood of print' file in the folder of Windows Vista users.

  'Neighbourhood' of printing stores the path to the folder containing shortcuts to printers that you have added to the computer.

  These files are called a junction. Junctions work as shortcuts, but in the case of Vista look like standard folders with an arrow. A junction is intended to reorient the programs that access to their to their equivalent of Windows Vista. Since junctions aren't really folders, it is not possible to access, and any attempt to do so will give an "Access denied" error.

  I spent several hours on this forum and unfortunately not found a solution yet so hoping someone has an idea that can help me solve this problem.

  Using forms/States of oracle 11g with a linux application server, we develop on windows machines. Printing reports using compiled .rep files.

  We have a network printer sharing (HP) that is configured on the application server, and we can print on the correct printer directly on the application server.

  Problem is when I try to print a report when executing the forms of oracle on my machine of development directly to the printer.

  I tried:

  SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (l_repid, report_desname, 'APPSERVER_PRINTER_NAME');

  When I put the report_desformat in 'pdf' format I can see the reports to enter the print queue, but they do not reach a 'State' order ' print file empty. "

  I have given up trying to use a report_desformat of pdf and paste it with the default value of the eps, after review, it seems pretty close match that generates pdf format and despite the fact that the queue on the application server throws a misprint even with the eps format it actually always draws for the good enough for now. Would be nice to know what happened here, but the problem has been resolved.

  I had to rate an image for printing several years ago and made some tests using Photoshop, Lightroom and some third-party software, resize possibly perfect.

  It turned out that Lightroom has produced the best picture, followed closely by Photoshop.

  The image produced by the third-party software maybe was a bit stronger than the others, but it seemed unnatural.

  You can easily test yourself - create images in the same dimensions in pixels of Lightroom and Photoshop, then compare them to view 100%. Photoshop you give several resampling options that produce slightly different results, try bicubic and bicubic smoother.

  When my print files, some of the text appears as a different weight even if they are all on the same weight in indesign. For example when I print a magazine spread, I have all of the text set to book but the first paragraph when you print is light and the second "BOLD" and only the third looks as it should.
