M553dn: Pink lines printed on m553dn

Printer worked great for the first few days. Now, I'm getting roses (magenta) lines in all of my pages. Cleaning does not help. A full calibration allows it, but even after that, I always get some pink points.

I print no more than a few pages at a time. I have never had a longer job of 14 pages. Just started doing this about a week ago.

Ideas or thoughts?

He is probably still in warranty look on the support on hp.com page and find contact bound to get technical support of HP, they would be those who can send you a replacement cartridge.

You might find a link to chat online on the support page, I try to use those when possible.

I have a HP L7590 printer.  It prints fine in black and white but has about 5 lines pink in color photos. The actual image prints very well.   I replaced the ink cartridges and performed the procedure of cleaning several times but no luck.  Any ideas?

    Hi Rod00,

I understand that you have a problem with the pink lines on photos printed on your Officejet L7590 printer. I'm sorry to hear what is happening but will certainly do my best to help you.

I recommend this paper to print quality since it will by means of cleaning and testing of the steps for you ensure that equipment works properly. If these steps do not help, I have a few questions for you.

You print these photos on photo paper or plain paper?

It happens regardless of the image you print?

    Have you tried different programs?

You work on a Windows or Mac computer?

Hope that this can help, but if not I look forward to your response!

  • Vertical pink line on Qosmio G20 LCD

    Hello all,.

The screen of my Qosmio G20 was displaying a pink vertical line (exactly 1 pixel width) whenever it returns a long out-of-State (i.e. at startup, wake up from hibernation, etc...). The line persists for only a few seconds to gradually disappear the transition by means of green (and maybe white) before to do so. It is also worth noting that the pink line does not appear on his return from a short off the coast of the State.

Unfortunately I do not have external screens on hand to test if it's a hardware or software problem, so I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced this before or pink line if there is a clear diagnosis for her (I suspect material myself but...).

    Kinder,.
    Lee.

    Hello

Seems your equipment malfunctions but it s, not easy to say what's wrong without a detailed test.
Everything is there, we can provide suggestions only.
Of course, it s might be the graphics chip to malfunction, but I wouldn't say that this s REALLY a graphics card failure.

The connection to an external monitor would be useful to provide some additional suggestions...

However, you will definitely need assistance service guys because I don t what you'll be able to fix it yourself.

21.5 inches a month old iMac had a pink line down the screen-oriented...

Return it to the store for assessment.   It is in the warranty period of 12 months, so it could be replaced if you insist that you are in the United Kingdom.   Otherwise it is covered by your warranty and is either replaced or repaired according to the countries.

  • Pink line on screen

I recently bought a new bike x in December 2014, after a month of a pink line appears vertically across my screen. At first, I thought they were stuck pixels, but that tend to occur on the colors of cartain. However, this line is present every time anywhere even in ambient display where the pixels are supposed to be turned off. Given that I live in Ecuador, and there is no representation of motorola here I don't know what to do. Is this a factory default? What is covered on the warranty?

It seems that it should be a warranty issue - providing there is no sign of damage to the user (drop, water, etc.).

Where have you bought the phone? Warranty is managed in the planned area of the phone.

  • Photosmart 7520 random lines printed in italics

Photosmart 7520 is attached to Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) OS.  When you print a page full of several lines of text in the body of the document get printed in italics, even if there should be no text in italic in the document.  The lines of print in italics seem randomly gnereated but remain constant over time, if minor changes are made to the document and it is re-recorded (same direction still print correctly and the same lines in italics).  If font type is changed, the lines printed in italics change.  I ran the printing software and Scan doctor.  She showed no errors.  I deleted the driver printer and downloaded/installed a new driver.  This does not solve the problem.  If I change the italic document police, all printed in italics.  Any help/advice would be most appreciated.

    Hi Lou,

I'm so happy to hear that it's resolved!

You absolutely can mark it as accepted solution, anyone else having this problem can be resolved as well.

  • Pink line 2007WFP suddenly appeared

As of today, there is a line of 1 pink pixel on the right side of my 2007WFP monitor. The line is about 3 inches from the left side of the screen and extends upward from the bottom of the screen about 6 inches. I tried to update the driver from the DELL monitor but a message that the best driver is already installed. I checked to see if there was a update driver NVidia but I already have the latest version. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Hello Tdehan,

In order to run the monitor self test, try the following steps:

    • Turn off the computer and the monitor.
    • Disconnect the cable to the computer's DVI.
    • Turn on the screen by pressing the power button.
    • The monitor would show the color screen.

Check if the pink line is still visible. If so, please consider replacing the monitor.

    I hope this helps!

  • Why do I get strange glitching pink lines in my export?

When I export first Pro CC, I almost always get these glitching weird pink lines in the video accompanied by jumping video file...

    FinderSnapz001.jpg

It usually occurs only at the beginning of the exported clip, but sometimes, it's happened all the way through.

I'm new to first Pro CC, but I'm not new to editing.  I have been using the FCP professionally for 12 years, but I'm now trying to make the transition to the first.  So is there something basic that I'm simply not?  This is literally my first project I'm trying to make full in first Pro CC, so I didn't know whether or not this happens with other types of images.

For what it's worth, this film was shot on a C300 and imported natively into first.  It is 24 p (true 24 fps, because I neglected to be specific to camera operator actually want to 23.976), but I've placed it in a 23.976 chronology.  It is this timeline that I export.  I'm operating on a new Pro Mac suped-up "Bullet", so I doubt that my hardware is the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  • OfficeJet pro 8600 vertical black lines printing when you use the scanner/copier of SMA

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 Plus model N911g that I got a year out of warranty. Worked perfectly until this week when I scanned approximately 50 pages through the ADM.  During the process of digitisation of the black vertical lines began to appear on documents that are scanned or print (color or BW) through the ADM.  Scanning or printing directly from the scanner glass is not the problem.

I checked, cleaned and cleaned all (rolls, strip scanning, scanning glass) it is possible via the information provide in these forums from other veins knows on their production lines.  No change...

I unplugged the printer all the network and fax cables and tried scanning or copying with the power of the device, NO CHANGE.  Don't know what the next step might be other than the factory reset (don't have documentation on this process).  Additional suggestions would be appreciated.

  • HP printer works on line printer, but not on the documents from the computer

Desktop HP 1000 prints from online sites but ignore the lines when printing under Vista (works)

Hi Jsinger, hope you had a great weekend!

I recommend to remove the ink cartridges and performing a power reset the printer. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I also recommend the continuation of the procedure described in this document on the problems of quality Print to the HP Deskjet 1000

    Please hold me!

  • Line printer insertions.5 and 1 cm in impressions spaces

My Officejet 4500 printer has been working fine for months but now insertions.5 and 1 cm line spaces between both within the text and graphics. Have cleaned print heads and run the HP doctor, also cleaned up the food and the roller. Still no improvement. I use XP on a PC and the same thing is happening with an XP laptop on the same network.

There is a document to help solve print quality problems in the Officejet 4500. This document can be found here.

I see that the printer used filled/non-genuine HP tricolor ink cartridges and this can affect the print quality. For more information about refills see Ciara_B thread found here.

If you have already gone through the troubleshooting, then I suggest you change these cartridges a genuine HP cartridges. Let me know how it goes.

My 5150 hp printer does not print outside the internet.  It just makes black lines.

    Hi Lori Hall,

1 are you facing this problem when you try to print from Internet Explorer?

    2. If Yes, what version of IE are you using?

3 does occur with other applications too?

    4. don't happen with a particular Web page or the whole?

    5. you will remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

    6. are you able to display a print preview mode for the same before you start to print?

You can check if the page print settings are correct and encoding is set to Unicode UTF.

    To check the print settings

    a. open Internet Explorer, click file in the menu and click on layout. Check if all options are properly set.

    To check for coding,

    a. open Internet Explorer, click view on the menu, and select Encoding. Check the option for Unicode UTF.

  • Photoshop magnetic Raster (pink line)

    Hello

Somehow my PS (CS6) does not display the "magnetic" (fluorescent) lines more when I'm dragging around a layer.

    Example:

When I wanted to Center a (smaller) layer in another (larger) layer, it would seem a kind of pink "Cross" when it was aligned at the Center.

When I try to Center something in a larger layer now, those lines / this cross will no longer appear.

    How to re-enable this?

  • HP Office Jet Pro 8600 - vertical black lines printing

My printer just started printing black vertical lines across the page today.  It happens that I have copy or scan.  Does not seem to happen when I print only.

Thanks for the link to the HP support center.  After crossing the "discoverable" mode, etc and read its documents, the first suggestion for this problem was "with the printer, unplug the power cord from the printer" to reset the printer.  This seemed to solve the problem.

Thanks again for linking me to an area that I could get a resolution.  I can continue to work now!
