Pink line on screen

I recently bought a new bike x in December 2014, after a month of a pink line appears vertically across my screen. At first, I thought they were stuck pixels, but that tend to occur on the colors of cartain. However, this line is present every time anywhere even in ambient display where the pixels are supposed to be turned off. Given that I live in Ecuador, and there is no representation of motorola here I don't know what to do. Is this a factory default? What is covered on the warranty?

It seems that it should be a warranty issue - providing there is no sign of damage to the user (drop, water, etc.).

Where have you bought the phone? Warranty is managed in the planned area of the phone.

Return it to the store for assessment.   It is in the warranty period of 12 months, so it could be replaced if you insist that you are in the United Kingdom.   Otherwise it is covered by your warranty and is either replaced or repaired according to the countries.

  • Vertical pink line on Qosmio G20 LCD

    Hello all,.

The screen of my Qosmio G20 was displaying a pink vertical line (exactly 1 pixel width) whenever it returns a long out-of-State (i.e. at startup, wake up from hibernation, etc...). The line persists for only a few seconds to gradually disappear the transition by means of green (and maybe white) before to do so. It is also worth noting that the pink line does not appear on his return from a short off the coast of the State.

Unfortunately I do not have external screens on hand to test if it's a hardware or software problem, so I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced this before or pink line if there is a clear diagnosis for her (I suspect material myself but...).

    Hello

Seems your equipment malfunctions but it s, not easy to say what's wrong without a detailed test.
Everything is there, we can provide suggestions only.
Of course, it s might be the graphics chip to malfunction, but I wouldn't say that this s REALLY a graphics card failure.

The connection to an external monitor would be useful to provide some additional suggestions...

However, you will definitely need assistance service guys because I don t what you'll be able to fix it yourself.

  • Pink line 2007WFP suddenly appeared

As of today, there is a line of 1 pink pixel on the right side of my 2007WFP monitor. The line is about 3 inches from the left side of the screen and extends upward from the bottom of the screen about 6 inches. I tried to update the driver from the DELL monitor but a message that the best driver is already installed. I checked to see if there was a update driver NVidia but I already have the latest version. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Hello Tdehan,

In order to run the monitor self test, try the following steps:

    • Turn off the computer and the monitor.
    • Disconnect the cable to the computer's DVI.
    • Turn on the screen by pressing the power button.
    • The monitor would show the color screen.

Check if the pink line is still visible. If so, please consider replacing the monitor.

    I hope this helps!

  • iMac 24 "(2006) begins with Pink/White pixelated screen"

Hi, my iMac 24 "2006 frozen while watching a YouTube video. Its done but the video froze. Had to force a shutdown. Handed on to a screen to Pink/White pixelated patterns. It starts, Apple logo, spinning wheel, then a blip, but just a pixelated pink and white screen blank. He went 3 - 4 (screen pixelated) Apple hardware test, 4 passes a Memtest, I got in Single User Mode (screen black green pixelated), Verbose Mode (screen pixelated), Disk Mode target (no problems in this mode) and Boot Mode target (no problems in this mode) with an another iMac. Fix problems with the HARD drive and also repaired permissions. All my files are intact and my OS x (Snow Leopard) seems well intact. It won't start any disk inserted in the drive Superdrive. I can eject the disc with a re - start to hold the eject button on the keyboard or the mouse. I get the startup chime, no beeps, no codes and only get the kernel panic when I try to boot from a CD/DVD disc. Do NVRAM/PRAM rested and reset the SMC have swapped the RAM with new RAM without result. It shows a ZERO GPU issues or fail before that. But he began to act more slow when t switched to firefox as my browser. With only 3 GB of Ram, not surprising. Other odd and random questions like losing all my personal settings one night a week earlier, as well as all my applications at rest again. As when I opened iTunes I got the Welcome screen and start again with iTunes. My files were intact, but even some of my emails had to be searched and imported again. Things like this. I thought of something was about to give... and it was probably the case. I'd hoped to Ram instead of the GPU problem. I do not suspect the GPU at the moment, even if many tell me that it's probably the GPU.  The only thing I found was under "Graphics" bad Apple hardware test it reads 'Unknown Video' in the profile section. No other beeps, errors, codes, etc. other than the screen pixelated and don't pretend to begin the OSX. I know it's 10 years old, obsolete, etc... but he has run nearly impeccable and had a very easy life so far.  My next step is to try an external monitor and see what happens. I need to find and get the right adapter for this first. It's a bit frustrating that I read some say HDD, another RAM, many GPU, some the OSX... but it has passed all Tests of material thin Apple. No error codes, beeps, blinking, nothing. Any other ideas? Thank you.

To connect an external monitor to this iMac, you'll need a Mini DVI to... Adapter (DVI, VGA, or HDMI) .

  • Satellite L300D-20R - horizontal white line on screen

Switched my laptop this morning and the display is simmering and seems to have a shadow. The top 2 inches is OK; under the tent of 2 inches, there is a horizontal white line about 1/16 "thick. below this line, the screen is simmering, appears dark and foggy.

What can I do to fix this?

That's better than you can do. I assume that the display is faulty somehow.

  • Pink lines in color images

I have a HP L7590 printer.  It prints fine in black and white but has about 5 lines pink in color photos. The actual image prints very well.   I replaced the ink cartridges and performed the procedure of cleaning several times but no luck.  Any ideas?

    Hi Rod00,

I understand that you have a problem with the pink lines on photos printed on your Officejet L7590 printer. I'm sorry to hear what is happening but will certainly do my best to help you.

I recommend this paper to print quality since it will by means of cleaning and testing of the steps for you ensure that equipment works properly. If these steps do not help, I have a few questions for you.

You print these photos on photo paper or plain paper?

It happens regardless of the image you print?

    Have you tried different programs?

You work on a Windows or Mac computer?

Hope that this can help, but if not I look forward to your response!

  • Why do I get strange glitching pink lines in my export?

When I export first Pro CC, I almost always get these glitching weird pink lines in the video accompanied by jumping video file...

    FinderSnapz001.jpg

It usually occurs only at the beginning of the exported clip, but sometimes, it's happened all the way through.

I'm new to first Pro CC, but I'm not new to editing.  I have been using the FCP professionally for 12 years, but I'm now trying to make the transition to the first.  So is there something basic that I'm simply not?  This is literally my first project I'm trying to make full in first Pro CC, so I didn't know whether or not this happens with other types of images.

For what it's worth, this film was shot on a C300 and imported natively into first.  It is 24 p (true 24 fps, because I neglected to be specific to camera operator actually want to 23.976), but I've placed it in a 23.976 chronology.  It is this timeline that I export.  I'm operating on a new Pro Mac suped-up "Bullet", so I doubt that my hardware is the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

    > I placed in a 23.976 chronology

I only use the camera, but the process of a NEW ELEMENT to create a corresponding sequence CAN solve your problem

I got a brand new iPhone6 (2 days) on the Apple Store. Everything works fine; However, when the battery is dead instead of the low battery message (empty battery with the CAP) popping up on the screen looks distorted with red, black and yellow lines. Do not let not your battery close to being "dead."

  • Lines on screen Macbook

Picked up my Macbook to the table and these lines appeared. First time that's ever happened.

Any info on what happened actually technically?

    Thank you.

The best option is an appointment at an Apple store genius bar.  The assessment will be free.

You can connect a monitor on the MBP.  If the monitor image is good, the display or the connection to the screen is defective.  If the monitor is the same as the display, the GPU is the prime suspect.

    Ciao.

You did very good test. Graphics card is correct and troublemaker is LCD.

On eBay you can find fairly cheap.
    Can share you one?

  • Toshiba Satellite U400 - purple lines on screen

Hi, I had my laptop for about 2 years now, and recently, I noticed that when the screen is dark (as a background or black background dark) purple blurry horizontal lines appear at the top of the screen. Like at the top of 2 millimeters of the screen.

I also noticed that when I put pressure on the area around the touch pad the screen begins to glitch out and go spastic. Like all the purple lines. Especially around the bar at the bottom of the screen.

If I set the background to white lines disappear however and the affects to put pressure on the area around the touch pad are much less visible (if at all, I have to test it more)

Also when I plug in an external monitor (VGA) there is no problem on the external display.

So my question is, someone knows something similar and also it would be a software or hardware problem? And what do I do now?

    Thank you

Looks like a hardware problem. If the screen deforms when the base is pressed, then the graphics chip is probably defective. An FSL may quote you a new Mainboard.

  • Satellite P300 - 1 9 - Pink line on the LCD displays

After only 18 months of use, a vertical line rose, 1 pixel wide appears on my screen. Connected to an external monitor, the display is fine.
I read on the net that in such a case, the problem may be cable or screen himself.
The interesting thing is that generally people get this problem after 18 months or more.

Is it a manufacturing defect? What should I do to see if the cable or the screen?

    Hello

    > I read on the net that in such a case, the problem may be cable or screen himself.

From my own experience, I can say that as much as possible is a screen itself.

    > What should I do to see if the cable or the screen?

If it is still under warranty (I know, 2 years of warranty for computers laptop Toshiba), you should contact the service center and will fix.
