MAC address for the BlackBerry emulator

Hello

I develop a J2ME application, it involves sending MAC address to the server.

I use code below to get the emulator MAC address of BlackBerry 4.7

I am running a MDS service to connect to the server

javax.bluetooth.LocalDevice localDevice;

localDevice = LocalDevice.getLocalDevice ();
String macAddress = localDevice.getBluetoothAddress ();

but it gives a value zero.

Please help me on this.

Thanks in advance

The Simulator does not simulate a Bluetooth device.  If you want to do Bluetooth treatment, then you must buy a Board that works in your office, or use a real device.  I suggest you try your code on a real device.

    Hello

You can use your AAA Watt database server racks until you set the mac addresses as users on these databases.

Remember that the mac address and the password are the same and must match the format that it receives in the RADIUS access request.

Example: If the AAA client (switch) sends the mac address of the format xxxxxxxxxxxx, and then you create the user with this format.

If she sends in the xxxx.xxxx.xxxx format, then you must create the user in this way.

Usually, he sends in the format xxxxxxxxxxxx, but worht to ensure.

  • How to find the Mac address of a Blackberry Curve 8130 BlackBerry Smartphones

I have a wireless router in my house that has a MAC filter enabled. I do not have permission to change this setting on the router. I need to find the Mac address of the Blackberry 8130 device to be added to the routers MAC filter allow list only.

Can someone help me with the knowledge on how to find the MAC address of a Blackberry 8130 Curve?.

Thanks for the help in advance.

    Concerning

    VK

I forgot to mention: new to Blackberry Curve 8130 (previous was the old black version with the wheel) and the network is T-Mobile with SIM card (not CDMA).

  • Make Unique MAC addresses for cloned library configurations

I have a Setup / configuration library that has 2 models vm included.  How can I ensure that when users clone the configuration of the library of their workspace, it will give multiple users various MAC addresses for the NICs on those virtual machines?  Now when users clone the config from the library to the workspace, it errors out after 1 because they keep receiving the same Mac.

The IP address and MAC to a library configuration does not change when you clone them to a workspace that they use network models.  Only a regular configuration will do it.

  • WLAN Access Denied for active MAC address in the ACL

I have a pretty great list ACL (Access Control) and I've never had a problem with it in the past, but I just got a new laptop and same computer when I save the MAC address and reboot the router I always get the "WLAN Access Denied" error for access from your laptop.

I did all the "sanity checks" to ensure that the password is correct and that other devices still work.

I had the MAC address of the laptop the same way, I always have, I see the MAC address in the Logs in the access denied message and copy it from there, in the access list. I did it with more than 20 other devices successfully, I'm not sure what is different about this one MAC address... I confirm through ipconfig on the laptop that the MAC address I use is correct.

When I turn off ACL, I can connect without any problem of the laptop.

Any thoughts? I am very familiar with computers and you can do an advanced troubleshooting, I do not know infrastructure and networks of the stuff so I don't know where to start here.

Any ideas on how I can fix this would be appreciated!

You may have hit a limit of the ACL. A test, remove a device from your list and see if your laptop will connect. This would confirm if you have contributed the most to list ACL on the router...

  • How to find the MAC address for photosmart c510 - printer, not zineb

    HP Photosmart c510 all-in-One

    Windows 7 SP1

    Printer bought 2 weeks ago.

Printer wireless light is not on, not even flashing

I use MAC address filtering on my home wireless router.  No problem adding the Zeen, I found that it is easy MAC.  Of course for the printer, it says "Printer not available" on the display of zineb, just below the zitoun MAC address.

So I need to add the MAC address of the printer to my router.  I know that I can turn off filtering by MAC address and I hope that the printer connects, and then I can print the printer network settings, get the MAC, and then again turn on the filter and add the printer Mac

Is this the ONLY way I can get the MAC address of the printer?  I'd rather not have to do that whole process, but will if I have to.

I also wonder why the printer wireless light is not even blinking as he is looking for a network.

    Can anyone help?

Print a network Test Wireless in the network menu on the front of the printer. It will contain the MAC address. Note that MAC filtering is not in that ensure that used MAC addresses are sent in the clear, and it is easy to impersonate a MAC address on a computer.

  • Command line method of specifying the MAC address for a guest

Can someone tell me if it is possible to manually change the mac address for a guest the cli? I was hoping that vicfg-vmknic can have an option statically assign an address but it is not. Depending on the Server Configuration guide, you can set the via the customer of VI, but the cli method is eluding me. Reason for wanting to do this is for a static dhcp address assignment

    Thank you

Another possibility - you can try VI Toolkit 1.5 which has a command called Set-NetworkAdapter, which allows you to set the MAC address.

  • Can I get the MAC address for my lost iPad?

I think I left my iPad Pro in the street today while loading and led away.  When I realized it, I rolled back, but he had disappeared.

It's a Wifi model only, so find my iPhone will not be much help.  However, my local ISP is a service where you can register the MAC address of the device and it uses one of the many public access tasks automatically, then in this case I find my iPhone could help.

Is there a way to determine MAC address the iPad when I don't?  Perhaps through iTunes?  I checked the box, but only the serial number is in the list.

    Help!

  • Find the MAC address of the host remotely logged on to a domain

    Hello

I work in an environment where we use the thin client (Sun ray DTU) to connect to sessions. The sessions are communicated through solaris servers, and windows servers. Explain further, the thin client connects user to the layers of solaris that connects to windows to allow the user a session window. Window servers are in a private domain. I work as a security consultant in the business and use a management software log for surveillance of newspapers. I collect the windows logs via the software (Application, security, installation, System) agent. My question is, HOW do I GET the MAC ADDRESS OF THE THIN CLIENTS? I have the IP address, username etc but not the mac address of the workstation. However - the TASK MANAGER and REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES MANAGER give the MAC address in the CLIENT NAME. I raised the level of the event log to ' 5 "(through registry), enabled all policies audit with categories and subcategories as well but always without success." " I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise edition.

  • Analyze the Mac address with the regular expression matching

    Hello world

I have a problem with the function of regular expression matching,

I try to analyse the response both a query arp - a 192.168.0.15 to retrieve the MAC address of the remote IP address, I used the following regular expression: ^ ([0-9a-fA-F]{2}[:-]){5}([0-9a-fA-F]{2})$

I wonder why should I do a subset of the first string to extract only the part of the MAC address. The regular Expression function is not able to recognize the regular expression directly in the middle of a string?

I only works when I extracted the subset of tring right as in the picture below.

    Thanks for your replies.

Get rid of the "^" at the beginning of your regular expression. You are ordering him to find the model at the beginning of the string.

  • LaserJet MFP M477 cold Pro: MAC address for LajerJet Pro MFP M477 cold

Could you please tell me where I can find the MAC address for LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw?

    Hello Letitial

The Mac address is simple to find 2 ways

    1. Go to the antenna wireless icon on the upper right of the screen and tap on it.
    2. Then press the Wifi network (On - Off) icon.
    3. Do scroll down and find the hardware address.

That s how you get the Mac.

The other way would be to print a configuration report and search for hardware addresses.

    • Drag the menu to the left
    • tap Setup
    • tap reports
    • Select configuration report.

      I hope this helps you!

  • Access point WAP54G whose MAC addresses are the same

I have 3-point WAP54G access that are connected together using wireless bridge settings found under the "AP Mode" in the menu.

I would add a fourth unit, but as I am doing so I discovered that the 4th unit network MAC address is the same as that of the three already existing in my lan bridge WAP54Gs.   How can this be?  All units, aren't supposed to have unique MAC address of the factory.  I have triple checked to make sure that I am indeed two different units WAP54G.  Yes there is indeed to disting WAP54G units in my possession to what appears to be duplicate MAC addresses.  Then two units with double MAC addresees exsist on the same bridge LAN?  If this is not the case, is it possible to change one of the units, itg is not possible to return a device?  Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

One of the evangelists 'Developer' RIM working outside South Africa, I think, so there should be someone local you can talk too.  If you message Mark Sohm (the RIM name you will see a lot on the forum - MSohm), with your e-mail address and it ask to put you in contact with the Developer Evangelist in SA, which should help.  You can tell Mark to ask me if he needs clarification.  Do not promise anything either but I hope that something will happen.
