  If I understand the question - if this drive will be used for both copies of backup for Mac and Windows-R/W, you should leave a Windows machine format the drive for fewer problems.

  Mac will need software http://www.tuxera.com/products/tuxera-ntfs-for-mac/ for the ability of NTFS R/W or similar

  I would certainly recommend format the drive to remove a remnant of the software pre-installed on the new drive.

  If on the other hand to use Mac - and you cannot mount the drive, try to force mount DiskUtility > file > Mount

  If not can do - the reader is bad out of the box.

• Mac startup showing Mac and Windows without windows in Bootcamp installed

  I currently have a Mid-2009 MBP under Snow Leopard.

  In the past, I used Bootcamp for Windows 7 (then at 10 horrible) and had no problems.

  Annoyed, shattered Windows 10, returned to Windows 7. Made backup using the backup utility Windows on/dev/disk1 /.

  Had problems with El Capitan and wiped out all/dev/disk0 /.

  According to the screenshot below, when I start my computer displays the boot Mac and Windows options.

  I narrowed down it to caused by/dev/disk1 /, but there no other Windows operating system or backup are there.

  Is it possible that this is due to the partition on/dev/disk1/and EFI is possible to remove this fact and the option to start Windows without annihilating the entire HARD drive?

  Hi all

  Has anyone else had problems with getting audio playback works fine on a Mac Pro 2013 running 10 X 64 Windows at retail.   I know that the speaker in my Mac works because it works fine on OS X and chimes on boot up but Windows there is not a glance.    I did all the basics such as checking things in Manager devices etc.   All Bootcamp support software are installed but nothing.  I'm a total loss of any any input would be appreciated.

  As Apple says have you tried:

  If some features do not work when you start your Mac in Windows 10, try to reinstall the Boot Camp support software to use Boot Camp Assistant.

  I have an old WHS with windows 2003 and I now have the need to access my mac share. The Mac share is activate and works perfectly in my windows 7 machine and windows 10.

  When I connect on windows 2003 and try to access the share \\ip\Documents I get the name of user and password pop up and I am sure that I put the user name and password, but I still get reprompt with the window.

  I guess its something to do with the negotiation of NT or something. can someone help if I can access my share of mac for windows 2003?

  Looks like you got the LabVIEW Student Edition Software Suite DVD.

  It comes with 6 boxes to tools, and the TME product, some (or all?) of those who are windows only (at least 8.5), for example:

  • Toolkit Digital Filter Design
  • Modulation Toolkit
  • SignalExpress
  • ...

  Since you have 8.5, you are missing also a few basic things that only recevied at the 8.6MAC support, like Mathscript, Control design and Simulation and native 3D graphics.

  A new HDD may not formatted or partitioned as they won't know if you're going to use it on a Mac or Windows.

  When you connect the hard drive to your PC, Windows should have led you to format the drive.

  If not, click Start > search for create and Format hard disk permissions > then right-click on your external hard drive and select another format or create a new volume.

  Please confirm if you get the error message below

  If so, it is a special type of PDF form with Adobe LiveCycle Designer. And mobile applications of Acrobat Reader do not support these forms.

  I suggest for you please download the PDF document on your Windows or Mac desktop and open the same with the Acrobat reader DC desktop version.

  Also please let us know if this is a different issue than that.

  By "all text" are you referring to and the titles or captions? This kind of thing can vary according to the what fonts are available on each computer. If so, you will need to acquire the corresponding fonts for each computer.

  Yes, you do. Serial numbers are Mac only or Windows only. As you have discovered, you can't use a serial number of Mac on Windows (and vice versa).

  You can do a platform Exchange to put the serial number of your Mac and get a serial number of Windows instead.
