MAC snow leopard - CS5 with any update: extensions Manager seems to do nothing

I have my macbook pro with snow leopard.  CS5 update to the current... I have a mxp file... I click on it... Manager ext. monte on the tool bar... but nothing else... nothing in the window... just to be sure, I downloaded again the Manager of the position (CS5.0)... same thing... nothing.  I click on ANY station MANAGER and nothing shows.

Suggestions?   I want to get this mxp file to work.

Thank you, - bill

1. delete all files under "/Users/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player / # Security/FlashPlayerTrust / '.

2. If step 1 does not work, please delete "/Users/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Extension Manager CS5/exman_uiPreferences.xml.

3. If step 2 does not work, please run command in terminal: sudo "/ Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CS5/Adobe Extension Manager CS5.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Extension Manager CS5»

4. If step 3 does not work, please create a file named "ExManLog.YES" under "/ CS5.app/Contents/MacOS/Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CS5/Adobe Extension Manager", then launch the extension manager. You will get logs «/Users/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS5» Please provide the log files for troubleshooting.

  • Can someone please tell me what version of Photoshop Elements will easily download and run with mac Snow Leopard 10.5.8?

I posted a question which was: can someone please tell me what version of Photoshop Elements works with Mac Snow Leopard 10.6.8.  Then this window pops up saying mark this discussion with a question and this window.  I have no idea how it works. It is already a question and if I need to point out that how this window it looks like a word of edition window, help me to do this? Download, installation, setting up

You asked the question in the title area instead of the area where the body of your posting is intended to be.  No fault of your own - they need to make more clear form.

Check the system requirements for the different versions of Photoshop Elements and see who fits your system.  Adobe sells only the latest versions of their software, so if you need an earlier version, you will need to find a seller for her.

I have problems with it install on my computer.  It is said that it will not support my computer.  It's an old computer, I bought it in 2006. It was the first macbook pro. Its original operating system was leopard, but it's been upgraded to snow leopard.  I'm not a computer guru just to let you know, here are the specs of that computer:

    Any help would be appreciated!

It is probably not a processor 64-bit capable. Check in the Apple menu-> about this Mac what he says, what is your processor. You need at least a Core 2 Duo. The original Core Duo cannot run 64-bit code and Lightroom requires a processor compatible 64-bit: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.edu.html

  • Cannot resize the type area (CS5 Mac Snow Leopard)

I can't resize the areas of type area. The small boxes of white circles at the corners and sides to select for resizing are missing. I tried to re-setup of CS5. I'm a long-time user of Illustrator, so I know how to create type box boxes as well as how to resize them. No clue as to what I should do? I use a Mac with Snow Leopard 10.6.4. Thanks in advance!

Just to be sure, when you see the point of "Show Bounding box" on the view menu, this means that the bounding boxes are disabled. When you see the element 'Hide the framework encompassing' in the view menu, it means that the bounding boxes are turned on.

So, in order to see the bounding boxes you will need to explicitly click the "Show Bounding box" item in the view menu. It is a command, not an element that indicates that bounding boxes are turned on.

    We could call it irritating.

  • "Print cartridge failed" message on HP C5550 after installation of Mac Snow Leopard

I've just updated to Snow Leopard v. 10.6.7 and downloaded/installed a new driver.  Several times, I get a "Failed print cartridge" message whenever I try to print a page.  I just use a black ink cartridge and let the empty color cartridge slot, which was never a problem before.  I tried to reinstall the driver, restarting the computer, unplug/disconnect the printer, etc but still the same message every time I try to print.

  • 'All settings' menu inactive/gray on HPC5550 after upgrade Mac Snow Leopard

I've just updated for Mac OS X 10.5.8 to 10.6.7 and cannot print.  I get "Printer cartridge failure" messages whenever I try to print.  I only use the black ink cartridge and let the empty color cartridge slot, which never seemed a question before.

If you are using snow leopard and have the HP software before Snow Leopard (either from a CD not marked as compatible with 10.6 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard from the old software uninstaller or installed new software on top of it) , you must uninstall the software using the "scrubber":

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall< scrubber="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now run a software update.

Finally, download and install the "Full Featured" driver and software from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  • The editor does not open after 11 items is transferred from Mac Snow Leopard OS 10.10.2 Yosemite

I've been running Photoshop elements on a Mac with OS 10.6.8 11 (Snow Leopard). I just got a new Mac with the latest OS X (OS 10.10.2,"limited Yosemite). I transferred all my files on the new computer using the Migration Wizard.

PES 11 seems to install properly and the organizer opens OK, except that I get a message saying "some online services are not available" and her asking if I want to continue without them. However when I try to open the editor it opens, instead I get two error messages, first "among application components are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application", then "a required application library failed to open and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application '.

My questions are - should I just do a reinstall from the original disk? If so, should I do a complete uninstall of 11 items first? If I do a reinstall, will I lose all the changes, the version sets or something else?

I had said that I should be able to simply transfer via the PES 11, with the original product key only. Will there be incompatibilities between 11 PES and the latest version of Yosemite?

    Thanks for any guidance,

    Nick

You can never, never, never transfer any installed version of the EP on any platform. You should always install from scratch on a new machine. Trying to to, you have made more work for yourself. You must download and run this:

Use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

that won't seem to do anything, but is a necessary step to break the links within the program. Then you can go to and manually remove everything related to the PSE that you can find, not only Applications, but also your username > library > Preferences and the library at the top level of your hard drive > application support > adobe. You go to these places manually; Spotlight will not help you with this type of research.

Then, you can reinstall your original media or from the download here:

    Download Photoshop Elements products | 10, 11, 12, 13

  • Mac Snow Leopard install issues w / CS?

I put in my Mac OS to Snow Leopard (10.6.3) level, and before that, I decided to go online and search to see if there are problems or the recce I could well re: upgrade. I'm glad I did. I seems that there are some problems with the software Adobe CS - saving files and software crashes with snow L.

I'm under all versions of CS4, except InDesign (CS6). A Mac/Adobe fix issues with the 10.6.3 version?

CS4 should work fine without any problems on Snow Leopard, there might be problem that could be system or a specific application that we can try and help you.

  • Elements of Photoshop for Mac (snow leopard)

Hi all. I recently updated my computer to a MacBook Pro under Snow Leopard. Previously, I had a windows running acer. Just before my acer crashed, I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 7. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with my Mac. I was wondering if there is anyway to get a download that make compatible (I don't even know if these things exist) or if I am able to download a Mac compatible version and use my old serial number? or am I stuck having to shell out to buy another copy? Help, please...

This is not the Forum of elements.

but to answer your question Adobe does not software that will run on both platforms its either or. you will need to buy a Mac version.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8000 - is no longer prints borderless print after upgrade - Tiger for the Mac Snow Leopard

    HP Photosmart Studio v. 9.7.4

After upgrading from Tiger to Snow Leopard I lost the ability to print without MARGINS - until that time, that I had no problem.

I use HP Photosmart Studio to print, but get the same error every time: "the selected printer supports the paperwork without borders. If you print, will serve the maximum printable area of the current paper size.

I downloaded the most current driver after that I improved and I was able to print in general - when I try to select borderless printing it tells me that this printer does not support. I was able to print without margins using Creative Suite Indesign and printing of this app--but have lost the functionality of the HP Photosmart Studio is really a drag - since I have to do all sorts of adjustments to do workaround printing.

If you always reminants of the HP software meant for 10.4, you must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber".  If you have already uninstalled, reinstall from the CD, then:

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall< scrubber="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac
