  You can install VISA as a standalone w/o LabVIEW. Spy is not a stand-alone installer because it does nothing in itself. That's why we always package it with a driver or application software.

  Hi amireos,

  Yes, you can create your workflow where you can keep all your images on the external hard drive and the Lightroom catalog file as well.

  If you start with Lightroom and then use the Destination location as external hard drive when you import your image of the external source such as a camera or SD.

  If you already have your Images on the Mac HD drive, then play all your Image on the external hard drive first and then import images directly from there.

  Finally, you can change the location of the Lightroom Catalog as well.

  Default location: folder on the Mac Drive HD, there is folder called Lightroom that you can move on the external drive too (however catalog Lightroom can't memory space as its only import previews of the images is not the real image and full)

  Once you move the file catalog Lightroom external hard disk, then you need to browse the catalog file when you launch Lightroom only once.

  I just bought a Macbook Pro 15-inch (mid-2015, OS X El Capitan 10.11.4) and planned to connect it to my BenQ GL2450HM (he had since worms 2011 for my Windows PC). I had a DVI adapter for them, but the card connects to the cable correctly (as it goes down easy) and then when I plugged it, the monitor gave me a green light for a bit, but finally displays 'no signal' and the screen went black, and yellow light. But when I pulled the cable out of my monitor, he said "no cable not connected" (implying that he entered the connection somehow before that?)

  So, I read while holding down the option key to detect monitors, but that did not work. Put the laptop to sleep and then wake it up didn't work either. I also tried to plug the adapter to DVI/VGA Converter that I have, but they fit together. I tried to plug the adapter directly to the DVI port on my monitor, but they are not at all together.

  I feel, it should be possible to make the Macbook and monitor work together, but I'm stuck to know exactly what needs to be fixed. Probably the adapter or DVI cable, however. Do you have any suggestions?

  I'm having a problem with a field defined to calculate the average of eleven points fields (points 1 to 8 on page 1-9-11 on page 2). My original question was that it could exclude fields of points when they do not have information entered and adjust the average calculation (number of "divided by") accordingly.

  I had someone write JavaScript code for him, but I just found a small problem I don't know if it's something in the code or what the person who originally wrote the script cannot understand it either and suggested that I have post here.

  The middle area (located on the 2nd page of the pdf page two) seems to work exclusively with precision if at least one of the points of the fields on the 2nd page, 9, 10 (and 11) are engaged with the data. No values entered on the first page and only the first page, are for some reason any dividing by a more than expected. For example, if I fill the boxes 1, 2 and 3, it divides the total by four. If I filled just box 7, it halves. If I fill all 8 boxes on the 1st page, it divides by nine. It is corrected as soon as I get the points in one or more of the three boxes on the 2nd page points, suddenly the overall average is accurate. But if boxes 9, 10 and 11 contain no points, then the average is still inaccurate because the number of ' divide by "he uses is one more than what it should. I can't understand how to attach the form to this post, so I downloaded on Dropbox: Dropbox - used Evaluation.pdf.

  My 3 year old hp pavilion x 2 removable 2 in 1 touch screen works only if detached from the keyboard.  It has been for the last couple momths stop without warning whenever it was moved slightly while attached to the keyboard. Now it doesn't work at all and stops as soon as I connect it to the keyboard. Everything else works fine. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

• showacls works only with the unc on windows 2008 servers paths

  Hi people!

  We use the command showAcls.exe to the folder list ntfs permissions (we then use this list for some internal processes).  It worked well UNTIL we have upgraded a server to Windows 2008.  When we have a command like:

  showacls \\fs05\Userhome_45\brian-ba

  It returns nothing. No error, no data, just returns to the command prompt.   Needless to say that this command worked fine until the \\fs05 server has been upgraded.  I have found that if:

  I put a copy of showAcls.exe on the \\fs05 server and remote control and then in the server AND reference the full physical path, it will work.

  rcmd \\fs05 s:\showacls "s:\HO_USR1\User_Data_Processing\Userhome_45\brian-ba" / s

  Everyone knows this? Or am I the only one still using showAcls.exe?

• WUSB54AG works only with the safety of the new Netgear rotuer

  Just got a new router.  All my devices connect properly with the exception of the desktop computer that uses an external adapter to wireless of Linksys (WUSB54AG).

  The office is currently running SP3 of Windows XP (home edition).

  The latest driver for the card has been installed (3.0.18.0).

  I am able to connect if the security of the router is enabled OFF.

  The router has 3 security options:

  (1) WPA - PSK (TKIP)

  (2) WPA2-PSK (AES)

  (3) WPA - PSk (TKIP) + WPA2-PSK (AES)

  I understand (from Linksys technical support) is that the device MUST be able to connect using WPA - PSK (TKIP).

  My Linksys monitor indicates that the machine is connected to the access point but not the internet (when I used the WPA - PSK (TKIP).  The IP address that is assigned is 169.254.3.129 and not the 192.168.1.x expected.

  When I disable security on the router, the unit can connect and I'm a 'good' assigned IP (192.168.1.x).

  Ideas on the best way to troubleshoot and resolve this problem would be appreciated!

  I managed to change a lot of settings on my 2.4 GHz routers network settings.

  After passing it in WPA - PSK (TKIP) and by changing the mode/max speed "reaching up to 54 Mbps" - it works finally.  I guess that 'forced' somehome the router in order to disseminate the tape of 'G' rather than a strip of "N" (just guessing).

  It does NOT work when the router is in "mixed" (security) mode or when the speed has been set at a higher limit.

  You should check the DNS settings of your host on your account manager. Have one with the www prefix and a normal root area is two separate things, although most of the suppliers will automatically record both variants. You may need to complete certain formalities to migrate your domain registration successfully.

  Hi guys - I searched the forums for a while and pretty well I came across all positions said that if the unit does not have to uninstall/reinstall VMware Tools.  I tried twice but nothing helped. I am very new to the merger, but for now I'm very excited/impressed with the trial version - I just everything works fine!

  If you want you can import the Boot Camp partition as a Virtual Machine based on a separate stand alone file, or you can install Windows from scratch.  After you import if desired you choose and you don't want to use Boot Camp natively or as a training Camp for the virtual partition Machine (not that any) and want to recover the space that the Boot Camp partition is far from taking the Macintosh HD you can then use the Boot Camp Assistant (/ applications/utilities/Assistant Boot Camp) to remove the Boot Camp partition to reclaim that space.

(With merger closed if the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine package is over 1 MB in size, then you might have a snapshot in place and do not continue with these instructions.)
