MacBook stops while sleeping since Sierra
I've already posted similar to this, but the only solution suggested to reset the SMC did not work, so try again...
So, every night that the 2015 MacBook sits there, lid closed, making the face recognition in Photos in the background and everything he does and for no apparent reason it will close all applications and shut down.
I could not work if it's after a period of time, but it doesn't seem to be focused on the evening. Before and after midnight.
All software is the latest version.
Any ideas?
Update - just leave the MacBook plugged for 2 hours 15 minutes and he stopped.

MacBook Pro stops during sleep
My MBP 15 "mid-2015 retina stop completely during sleep. Often when I get back to my MBP, I have to start from scratch because it stopped during sleep. There is no message in the log to indicate why it closed and no error messages or indications of kernel panic. Sometimes the power and battery and with or without the lid closed. Latest OS X with all updates applied.
Reset the SMC (and NVRAM) does not help. Apple Diagnostics is no problem, and Genius Bar suggested I have first of all to make an OS X install excessive, then a clean install because they believe that it is a software problem. I tried to install too, and it made no difference. Pure install then, but I delayed, because it involves a lot of work in store again my work environment and data, it is not useless in current state - it's just a problem of waiting for the start up and then restore whatever, I was working on the last.
Any advice?
There is no message in the log to indicate why it closed.
There could be.
Wait until the Mac stops unexpectedly, and then check your system.log file to identify the numeric code associated with the stop. Read below.
Locate the Console application - it is located in your utilities folder and looks like this
You can find it by selecting utilities in the Finder go menu.
Open the Console.
If the list of newspapers on the left column is not already displayed, view journal list by selecting view list of newspapers on display menu of the Console.
Locate system.log in the list, and then select it. Many date and time-stamped entries will appear, hundreds of them, and you need to find the relevant entries to your Mac problem.
Do that type the word cause stop in the field filter on the top right of the Console window.
Who will do all the log entries be hidden, except for entries that contain these words. There will be a numeric code associated with the entry of journal from «Cause of previous stop» What is this code?

Satellite C850 didn't stop or sleep

I have Toshiba satellite B717 C850 since 6 months comes with 8 WIN and it worked without problem
but now has no stop or sleep
When I stop, the fan continues to run and the power led not on and I can't turn off until I have press and hold the button for 5 seconds
the sleep mode is the awakening of problem and can't even
reboot does not work properly, it gel for about 5 seconds, then turn off completely rest 5 seconds then turn it back oncan someone help me please?

To be honest, all that you have done is correct and I might suggest already listed the things you have already posted. Problem is that there is just no much you can do. If you really think it's hardware related issue you must contact the Toshiba service provider and ask for help.
They have diagnostic tools, and they may know what the problem is.

It appears from the description of the problem, the computer stops using 'sleep'. I understand the inconvenience.
This problem may occur because of the wireless adapter.

Just some thoughts...Could be a slow internet connection...
Could be high traffic on the hosting site...
Maybe the server is to halfway around the world...
Maybe you can download the videos to your hard drive and view them from there?

My new PC - is this 'off' stop or sleep...?
I built a new desktop computer with an Asus Sabertooth, 3770 i7 mobo CPU, GPU GTX660ti Asus k. When I shut down Windows 7, everything seems to stop. However, there are still a few green lights on the motherboard and GPU. What state is the PC then? Sleep? Hibernate?

Muse works very slowly and stops while I'm editing. The file size is 422 MB. I have resized the pictures on the site, and reloaded. It shows still 422MB. My return carbonite says until there are 5 versions. I can't find many versions on my computer.
A 187 MB file is large but are not rare. The .muse file size is entirely dependent on the size and complexity of your site.
Where is stored the .muse file? It's on an internal drive, external hard drive, network drive, other?

MacBook air crashes after the release of sleep since the upgrade of the sierra
Began to notice that since I upgraded my macbook air 2015 to sierra, system crashes. The trigger is always when I wake the sleep system (whether it is by opening cover or press a key). Issue is intermittent and may not be reproduced every time. I contacted apple support and they recommended resetting the SMC (ctrl + shift + cmd) but that didn't help either. I also did a check of filesystem (fsck-fy) and which seems to be very well so.
I noticed others seem to be faced with similar problems and a common theme that I noticed was that both we seem to have an installed tardisk. Not sure if this could be a factor?
While it is not any loss of data, the question is certainly annoying and disruptive to work.

Battery drain while sleeping on MacBook Early 2016
I just bought the M3 Core with 512 GB SSD and I love it. I'm not a graphic designer or a game player. 75% of the time I use Gmail for heavy amount of e-mails and management Word documents or Excel spreadsheets. Felt as if it was the machine for me.
I have also owned a MacAir 2014. One thing I LOVED about this machine was when closing the lid and put into sleep, I could go on all night, and many lose any battery at all, or maybe 1-2%.
However, I was surprised to find out that when I close the lid on this device, after about 12 hours, I lose 10-12% I thought was a little unusual.
All this experience at all and found a solution? I disabled BT so I know it is not that the services in question and the location are turned off except for the ability to use find my Mac, my Mac Air used barely no matter what juice while you sleep.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Apple Mail has stopped while improving
I was not able to use my mail since Dec. 30. ! Talk to seniors to Support Apple daily, but they are waiting for answer of Ireland engineers (or elsewhere)... I'm about to get totally freaked because I am an editor for the web-sites/magazines thre. I made a new user, but it takes too long to come and go between the two accounts, and I'm not really interested in transfer all to the new user, as I have my system on the first. I use a mobile router also and if I have to download everything once more, he eats gigabytes.
I'm really disappointed with Apple's Support, as they say first they will respond within 24 hours, then they say in 4 workingdays... Days, 4 days are long gone and senior supporters have nothing heard of engineers. Worst nightmare ever! My son told me hundreds of times that Apple * and I have to use (buy) Microsoft. I have always defended Apple, but now I'm not an Apple fan more.
I deleted my email accounts, but the mailprogramme is still stuck in the middel of "upgrade of the library".
Anyone with experience to solve this problem, or is the best solution to return to Microsoft?

The new version of Mail stores its database in a different format that the old, so the database must be converted before Mail can use it. Sometimes, the conversion fails because the old database is damaged, or because of a bug in the conversion code.
What you should do depends on what type of e-mail accounts you have. The first step is to back up all data, if you don't have a current backup.
A. Si you know that you have IMAP or Exchange only e-mail accounts
The easy way to recover is to delete the old database and start over. You can do this without losing all the messages, provided that:
☞ All your incoming mail accounts are on an IMAP or Exchange Server
☞ You store messages sent on the server
☞ You have no mailboxes "on my Mac".
Independent mail services the best-known as iCloud and Gmail are inspired by the IMAP. On the other hand, hosted by ISP e-mail services often use pop. If your ISP is one of your providers of mail services (or the only), you cannot use this procedure. See the section below in this case.
If you know that the above conditions are met, please continue to do so.
Quit Mail runs. Back up all data.
Open your home folder's library folder by pressing the option key and selection
Go ▹ library
in the Finder menu bar. Inside, it is a subfolder named "mail". Move this folder on the desktop. You do not move the e-mail application; you move a folder named "mail".
Launch of Mail. Your mailbox should be restored automatically. The messages will be downloaded from the servers, so it can take a long time if you have very large mailboxes. Some people have mailboxes in the gigabyte range, and which can be a problem if your bandwidth is measured.
If the mailboxes are restored successfully, you can delete the folder that you moved to the desktop. You may have to re-create your rules, signatures and custom stationery Mail. While it is very important for you not to have to do these things, ask for instructions before you delete the folder.

Cannot restart MacBook after starting Mac OS Sierra
I have problems with the installation of Mac OS Sierra. It jammed last night at about 90%. I stop. This morning, I tried to start it without success. slow programs since Sierra update
Ive noticed a specific slow performance hardware and software since I did the update of Sierra last week. Programs are slow to load, fast wifi is terrible and therefore slow to react and to load Web pages. I ran Etrecheck but don't know what needs sorting or sort. I noticed its Webkit highlighted by using a lot of resources. What is it and do I need?
