MacBook warning turn off if not connected

OK, so I changed my internal hard drive (new SSD put in there). Replacement I noticed that my battery was essentially exploded. I thought it was obviously the reason why my laptop kept shutting off if not after 5-10 minutes if it is connected to the charger. Battery changed so & thought the problem was resolved, but it is always turning off. Anyone know what may be the problem?

Reset the SMC could solve the problem.

Try restarting mode without failure. To restart in safe mode, restart the computer and press on and hold down the SHIFT key until the Apple icon appears. The computer starts more slowly than usual because the disk utility checks the drive. After getting on the desktop launch the App store and try to connect. Successful or not, once you're done, restart normally to exit safe mode.

  • How to turn off filtering to connect to a printer by MAC address?

    original title: MAC address filtering?

I'm trying to connect an hp photosmart wireless on my new computer printer, a print says that if I have active filtering by MAC address I should add to my list of devices allowed for wireless router. I am a beginner and do not MAC how to turn off the printer.?

All devices in the world that can connect to a network has an address unique identification enter the MAC address.  (This has NOTHING to do with Apple products - although they will also have mac addresses.)

Your printer will be on documentation and probably on the box.

Most routers have the ability to allow only the addresses specified MAC communicate through the router.  If you do not have this filtering enabled in your router then you need do nothing.  If you have enabled mac filtering, then you must type the address of the printer in the appropriate in the router configuration page.

There is nothing on the printer '' disable'. (sic)

  • System turns off after the connection because UPS is misconfigured

Installing a UPS on XP as he said "he couldn't communicate with battery backup.  I suspect (pretty sure) I put the codes, i.e. signals for the loss of power senseing incorrectly.  So when XP starts, connects and defines then personnal settings immediately it detects a loss of power and down, it is to say newspapers turns off and stops.  By inserting a bootable disc, I get the display for differnet start modes, etc. without danger, but the arrows do not work.  He maintains "normal" startup  So, I'm in a loop.  Pressing F8 does nothing.  I tried several times with the same results.

Can I get a bootable CD to somehow allow me to set the operating system to default values?  Or would that even work?

Is this really what the message really says:

He couldn't communicate with battery backup

What is the brand and model of your UPS and you have the correct wiring to it and the installed software?
Configuring UPS never worked correctly before?
What do you mean "set you codes loss of power properly detection."

What bootable disc are you using?

If you think that the XP UPS Service gives you a hard time, you can start the XP Recovery Console and disable it.

If you have any bootable installation CD XP authentic where you can start in the XP Recovery Console, so you can make a bootable CD from the Console of the Recovery XP (no XP media required) and then just disable the UPS Service does not start during the next reboot.

Once you enter the Recovery Console, type this command:

    turn off the UPS

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and don't forget (no support for XP not necessary).

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

  • Computer DV7-1825dx laptop screen turns off at least connected to the HDMI

I have a Pavilion dv7-1825dx running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  The other day, I simply closed the laptop into hibernation.  At the time, it was only connected to a printer and a wireless mouse.  The next day, I opened the laptop and it turned on but the screen stays off.  I shut down the computer by holding the power button and then turned back on.  The screen appeared and asked me if I wanted to start Windows normally.  Then, I got the loading screen for Windows.  As soon as he was done loading, the screen turns off and the chime sounded for the login screen.  I repeated again than having the same problem.  I typed my password, but the screen stays off.  Because I often hang my computer to our TV via HDMI, I thought I would try it, and that is, both screens lit.  I then disconnected the HDMI cable and the computer screen exploded again.  Plugged into the HDMI and activated.  I went into options for NVIDIA and noticed that there is an analog display with the screen of television and laptop (up to three screens on the list).  I restarted in safe mode, and the screen of the laptop works great.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?  That I can not connect my laptop to the TV whenever I want to use.

    Thank you advance!

Save the driver on the desktop and install it from there, not in a temporary folder.

Create a Windows restore point before starting.

During the installation of the new driver, click on "Custom" and there will be a link to uninstall the old drivers and all of your current settings, this before you install the new driver.

  • Disable the download Anyconnect client / turn off the url connection

    Hello

Is there a way to disable the Anyconnect client download when you navigate to the anyconnect url? Or just make the connection of the url is not accessible
While users can still connect with their client anyconnect installed in the corporate network.

    Thank you!

    Dave.

You can't disable the download directly. This had been discussed several times here at least one CSC who also confirmed a case of TAC. Link.

A hack is that if your image Anyconnect is an older, users will never invited to be updated.

Re URL, you can turn off the alias that fill the drop-down list on the web portal, but also long as your have the SSL VPN service active, external interface of the ASA will be used toward the top of the login page to less than the default connection profile.

What is your reason for wanting to turn off in the first place? Perhaps there is another method to achieve what you want.

  • Sharing printers has stopped working for me. MacBook Air "think" printer is not connected.

Sharing printers has stopped working for me. I have an Epson Stylus Photo R340 connected by USB to my Mac Mini end of 2012, and until recently, my MacBook Air has been able to print to it. Now, he 'thinks' the printer is not connected. Computers are on WiFi. Both computers have an OS X 10.11.5 now and the latest driver of Epson printer. Printer sharing is enabled in preferences, sharing, and "Share this printer on the network" is checked in the preferences, printers and Scanners. I went through the hoops to remove the printer and add it again on the Mini and the MacBook Air.

Of course, the Mini prints very well via USB. Someone has an idea (that I have not already tried) how to get the sharing of printers to work again?

Other sharing services work, such as the file and screen sharing?
