• Always impossible to install PP15.3. Issue of Mac/nvidia 980.

  I installed 15.3 soon after that he was released, only to discover that it was not compatible with my current setup. I'm running a customized version of Mac Pro 2009 with a nvidia 980ti.

  On a subsequent conversation in support they informed me that that the question had to do with 15.3 having problems with the 900 series of cards nvidia card when running on a mac and so technically the problem is the side nvidias.

  Which still leaves me not to go. I'm under the last driver nvidia and that there is no update for some time.

  Has anyone else had the same problem? Has there been a fix without any update of nvidia side adobes 15.3 to resolve this incompatibility problem? I saw no reference to other people having the same issue, but I can't be the only one out there with this configuration.

  Any ideas for a fix?

  I just talked to adobe again concerning a different problem with 15.2 support. Apparently the problem I described above has been resolved with a first update.

  I'll put it temporarily tonight. We shall see.

• Issue of Mac Mini 2014 SSD

  I'm not too familiar with the configuration of current storage of the Mac Mini. If the reader of the merger is not a true merger but combines a PCIe m2 with a HARD drive. However, I would like to know if buy you one that comes with a PCIe SSD out of the factory, will there still be a SATA port to add a spare hard drive?

  Yes, the logic board of 2014 has two connections. One for the PCIe and the other for a 2.5 "HDD or SSD.

  If I had to shine up to a 2014, I'd go with the Fusion model.

  Why, because

  1. the only model of HARD drive won't have a PCIe cable and support.

  2. the single PCIe model won't have a SATA cable, and maybe not a disc tray.

• Silent, quick config RAID for Mac Pro DAW

  I'm looking for ideas for storage configuration for my Mac Pro ' 09. This is the heart of a campus radio station / recording studio. The machine is a beast, and it serves my purposes very well. That said, the storage on board certainly needs an upgrade. Recently, I ran DriveDx to check the health of disks, and several of them are almost 30,000 hours. Right now, we lack a RAID 0 2 x WD RE3 750 GB (circa 2009) and 2 x Seagate 750Go (to 2008). Disks run without problem, but they are relatively slow and old (max ~100MB/s WD; ~75MB/s Seagate). In addition, I'm really not comfortable running a raid interlaced offshore of different styles of hard drives.

  I am looking to buy four new disks. Here's my wish list:

  Minimum of 1 TB of capacity

  Optimized RAID

  Reliable

  Quiet

  Relatively fast

  Not horribly expensive

  Does anyone have advice? I've been looking around for a while, but it has been difficult to find a good combination of these features. Or, if you have any other ideas I'm open to that as well. Thank you!

• No software - is it hardware - several issues on Mac with clean installation

  Apple has me wipe my hard drive because of metadata does not not like expecited in the Finder (I had open and update my library of Photos but Finder would say just 'open' at boot time).  Thus Apple loading El Cap servers and we hand placed my retrospective data and ny photo library has been downloaded icloud.

  Since:

  1. FInder problems persist. (See above)
  2. Could not "download and update" my iPad or iPhone via iTunes. He won on the download and expired - I've got close to 100 great download speeds and no security software installation. I had to download and update in two steps, download, then update. Then the update ruined my almost brand new iPad. (Has been replaced by Apple). No device has ever given me the 'slide to upgrade"or"enter code"screen after the update.
  3. photos sometimes lacks a photo import photo stream. He appears in all the photos but not Moments without having to relaunch the Photos.
  4. When a new machine of time backwards, once completed, he wouldn't eject the device. After that I disconnected, restarted, I finally had to stop to remove the external hard drive.
  5. Once at the start of my Mac, I could not connect.  No cursor and no place to type. The screen has not loaded correctly. Had to restart.
  6. during transfer purchases from my phone, I had - 54 error "could not write to the disk. Restart solves it.

  THUS, the OS is new. What is the problem with my Mac? Almost every time I use a weird error happens. Apple and before erasing Mac passed their tests of material.  I won't possibly be this unfortunate.

  I am at a loss for what to do. The Mac was bought in 2014 and is under warranty but I can't Apple to see the collective problems.

  Can someone enlighten me as to what he should ask Apple to do next? My Mac is mid-2012 and my fellow Mac users are surprised at this.

  If your mac is still under warranty and you already took a holding of certified repair mac (for example an Apple store) contact Apple and demand that they replace the system as he has already been addressed by Apple in the way they considered to be correct but their 'dose' has not rectified the situation in the slightest.

  I have a Mac Mini with SSD and have updated to El Capitan, and now can't find or use the SSD. I can see it in the system, but it does not appear in public services or storage device... I fear that this could mean that the drive has failed.

• Several display issues w / Mac Pro

  We have a Mac Pro 2013 "trash", w / El Capitan and the D700 gfx card. It has two poster 24 "stroke of lightning and a HDTV. Recently, Setup has been moved, and now it appears two of the monitors.

  Thunderbolt Display #1 is connected directly on the Mac Pro. Thunderbolt Display #2 is logged in #1. And HDTV is connected via the HDMI port. Currently, the Mac Pro shows only the bolt of lightning to display n ° 1 and HDTV, but if I unplug the HDTV, the Mac Pro is displayed for both screens Thunderbolt. For some reason, it will not display at all three monitors more.

  I tried to detect the poster, restart the computer in safe mode and THISprocess, but not luck.

  It is not a matter that we can not easily and conclusively answer here because the police in question was not licensed by Adobe.

  The American Typewriter font shipped with Mac OS are indeed visible and usable in Adobe applications. In fact, I tried to create an InDesign document using all six styles of the font on my Mac system. I exported successfully to PDF/X-4 of InDesign and policies incorporated without problem.

  However, all this means is that Apple (or the Foundry including Apple licenses the police) do not have any physical security in place to prevent inclusion in the PDF (EPS or PostScript). That being said, you must obtain the current license for the police to Apple to determine if they or their provider has no restriction against such commercial use.

  If you had permitted the police to Adobe, the answer was you could embed fonts and use them as you described. You might not nest them in an HTML stream or with an application program for dynamic use (as with an iOS or Android app). But in the context of a static logo, you'd be ready to go.

  You should see if Apple has its licensing policies on its website in order to ensure that their restrictions, if any, are. If the license is not on their Web site, you may contact the Legal Department of Apple.

  I have someone to help me put content in the pages on a site. I'm on a Mac and it is under Windows. I was posting in a directory on the server and it downloads my file of templates, images, etc and then put content in the pages it creates from my patterns. He assures me that he has the same configuration of directory than me, but when he puts the content and publishes its pages, all paths in links, images, for the CSS file, etc. have a slash (/) before them, and so they are not what they are referring.
  
  So it becomes:
  /images/welcome.gif
  
  Instead of:
  images/welcome.gif
  
  He says that he is not changing anything other than content and that there the same directory structure that I have to do.
  
  How is what happens? It's a Mac/Windows thing where WIndows wants to / for Mac is not a trial?

• Satellite C660 - Config issues after replacing HARD drive

  Can you please tell us what model of laptop do you have?
  Have you installed original recovery image that you got with your laptop using recovery disks created?

  Recovery image contains good drivers and it should work properly.

  What is with the new 'Preview RAM' and why is it so jumpy/lag/glitch - especially when it comes with video and audio. • MPIO iSCSI Config issues multiple vmKnics and natachasery several...

  Hey guys... I am trying to wrap my head around this whole MPIO and iSCSI configuration. I read all the documents there (from dell to vmware) and I'm still wrapping my head arounda couple things and I hope that someone could take a few minutes and just explain it a bit clearer for me.

  First of all. When you create a vSwitch and add vmknics to the vswitch, configuration says that you can have only ONE active adapter. If you go and delete this second card and put it in unused. Why do you need two cards when the second one is just going to be configured as unused? Even if this Teddy fails the secondary image is defined for unused and no failover then what is the point of the configuration of the other?

  In the second place. When you create a vSwitch and add several vmknics and then bind to the iSCSI initiator (I understand and have done laboratory) why some manufacturers (dell equalogic) saying create as many vmknics as natachasery you have? Is it so you all flow through that 1 GB direct as possible? Some walk through see a vmknic by iSCSI connection, what is the best practice?

  Third and last. I read that you should have vswitch as much as you do to your network iSCSI networks.  So if I have two separate iSCSI networks will my storage I will need two separate vSwitches and then bind these NICs vmk on the two vswitches to my iSCSI initiator. Its okay?

  I also confirmed that there is no limitation of 4 GB on LAG for PowerConnect 5424. You can LAG ports and 8 Gbps hose 8.
