  Mark, have studied the replacement settings available in your Performance preference panel?

  For example, under [Advanced...] there a drawing Mode setting.  It may be that your particular display driver would rather have Photoshop use a setting less there.  Make sure you leave/close and restart Photoshop after you make a change to a setting in this Panel.

  Also, you say "the driver is up-to-date.  As there are a number of ways to do it, it would be good to confirm that you have specifically obtained the last version of driver, that the manufacturer has published on their own site, not Microsoft.

  It is not only the possibility of a scratch, but also that the MacBook Pro retina are very thin. Adding a keyboard cover and a cloth could lead to damage and it closes does not correctly. I have personally not use either on my rMBP.

I set the timer to 3 hours sleep, doesn't always help.   What is the destination folder that the date be underneath?  In the top right it says users who suggests, you try to put the photos on top of your username instead of under your username.  Maybe that's the problem.  So change your folder in the drop-down list at the bottom right of what it should be rather than users, and if you're going to show us the destination of your photos at least scroll through the list of folders down right so that we can see which is the white highlight.

• New Mac Pro / first Pro CC / open CL - known issue?

  Hi all

  I am using first Pro CC on a new Mac Pro because it was delivered in January.  After some initial problems and the system hangs everything worked fine until the last update (build 33) but since then I've been meeting all sorts of questions.

  PP is now constantly freezing and crashing not only the software itself, but the entire system requiring a reboot.  Whenever I have to make I get all sorts of strange and wonderful flaws in the pictures and I had to turn off accel GPU by CL open just to get the system viable again.

  So my question - are these known issues with build 33 or is something else going on?

  Another foreign to CL question open (I think) is that XML import / export now seems to be bugged, the point of being unusable.  Very very frustrating!
