  I am trying to print the darkest possible black, but simply by using the black ink cartridge. How do I get there?

  My printer is HP deskjet 1000 J110 using cartridge HP 301.

  I do my drawing in Adobe Illustrator and set the color to be CMYK 100 100 100 100.

  If I insert only the black cartridge, the printer will leave empty place where color CMY ink should be or it will fill the space with black ink?

  Basically, what I'm trying to do is to increase the density of ink to the highest possible but only using only the black cartridge.

  Thanks to their participation in Forums of HP! I see by your post that you would like to be able to print in the black as dark as possible. I can help you.

  You can use the mode single-cartridge:

  Use single-cartridge in the HP printer with a single cartridge. Mode single-cartridge begins when an ink cartridge is removed from the distribution of the print cartridge. In the mode single-cartridge, the product can only printing from the computer.

  When I print on any size paper, this problem arises.

  To make things easy to understand, just think an A4 (210 * 297 mm). When I print on A4 paper, the width of the image is such that it should be (210 mm), but the height is about 10-15 mm less that it should be (less than 297 mm).

  The same thing happen even when printed on photo paper. (for 4 * 6 photo paper there is an empty space around 5 mm in length)

  The HP Deskjet 1000 does not support edge to edge printing without margins, it is limited to a specific which unit margins should not exceed those.

  Used this printer for months without problem until he ran out of color ink. Buy genuine HP color ink on amazon and replaced the empty color ink.  Installed the latest driver. Printer seems to work fine except the rest blank page. HP Print and Scan Doctor 4.9 finds no errors, no problem.  Cleaning print head. Aligned printhead printed normal test result on the page. Results of tests on white page. Yet performance printer continues to give green checkmarks on all issues.   You will not be able to make such, HP will only reset the printer to the region that you located, and not for a different region.

  As the title says, I hope to be able to use the format of Imperial foolscap on my deskjet 1000, so before I try and fall flat on my... uh... rear, a small maintenance of quenching and prevention is in order...!

  I have an interesting documentto boning some forty years back. The problem is the size of the paper. Thus, assuming that:

  1. I can actually find one of this size paper dark anywhere, and
  2. The word processor I use can handle it (Open Office Writer), or failing that the DTP (Pagemaker) package can do.

  Accept the printer and print on Imperial size foolscap (13 "x 8")?

  The printer handles up to Super B (13 X 19) size paper so your paper should work. I've also attached the link for the product with the product specifications that list the sizes of paper supported.
