Mail keeps being sent to a deleted address

When I send the email to one or more of my contacts, it also goes to a deleted contact. I removed questionable contact with all sections of my address book, as well as all lists of incoming and outgoing mail, but still my mail goes to this person who I have only limited contact with a few days in the past.

I deleted the program and then re installed but it still happens.

I've used windows live mail for very long and little prepared for the passage to the other, but if this can not be stopped so that is what I'll do.

Any help to stop what's happening would be appreciated.

My junk mail is to get term with mail that is sent using my email addresses. How can I stop this?

I can't block emails from myself, I sometimes need to send things, so I got them at a later date.

I know that I can view the source of the message, but I just want to stop this garbage that runs through for me.

    Can anyone help?

There is not really a way to do it.  Just like you cannot block spam from your mailbox home - anyone can send you mail and anyone can use a false address 'return' that makes it look like it came from you.

In fact, it is incredibly easy (only 10 letters typed) to send an e-mail that looks like it comes President @ whitehouse.gov.  That's how spammers do, because there is no check on email (I wish the people who invented the email 40 years ago had thought of that), but it is not just.

    (1) make sure that your e-mail account password is strong, don't share between multiple accounts and make sure your PC has good antivirus and a firewall.  Scan frequently.

    (2) it's strange looking (topic...), ask them if they sent before you open it.  Be very suspicious to the links and attachments.
And pls change the dangerous link out of your post.
  • My hotmail is infected with something. Messages are sent from my email address.

    original title: virus hotmail

My hotmail is infected with something. Messages are sent from my email address. I use Microsoft Security and McAffe and Windows security. I think that the rest of my computer is infected. It takes forever to get on the internet.  My programs close completely so when I start my computer once again, they are here. All these programs do not address the problem.

    Assuming you follow my suggestion...

According to one that you have decided to keep, Microsoft Security Essentials or McAfee, use the one you keep to run a full scan.
Then, run the Malwarebytes to make sure that no infection is left not detected.

Now see if messages are always sent from your e-mail without you address.
If Yes, then it is time to perform the following operations :|

I have 2 other addresses of e-mail which are not affected by this bug.

This happened only since I changed to El Capitan.

Your email provider may reject your password for several reasons, including:

    • You do not use your current e-mail password. If you updated the password on another device, make sure you use the same password on this device.
    • Your email provider needs you to update or reset your password for security reasons. For example, if you have turned on googles two step of checking your Gmail account in Mail now requires the appropriate password app.
    • Your disabled email provider or suspension of your account. Your provider of e-mail for help.

If so, you can run on a question that has plagued other Yahoo mail users, who has not been able to download attachments. This is especially a problem if you use an old favorite to access your e-mail, because Yahoo is not always correctly redirect on the currently preferred server.

To find the best current address, try to access your mail through one of them:

If you get to a working server, change your old bookmark for the new address.

Some users have reported a different approach, which was to change to their Yahoo email settings basic messaging interface. I hope that won't be necessary.

  • my emails show as being sent twice

Why my emails show as being sent twice?

    Hello

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

From your post, I understand that you see a sent message twice in your sent folder on your Mac Mail application.  It sounds like you have an IMAP email account, so I would like that you please follow the instructions to stop store sent messages on the server:

    1. Click mail in the menu bar, then select Preferences
    2. Click the tab accounts
    3. Select your e-mail account in the list on the left
    4. Click on the the mailbox behaviors tab to the right
    5. Uncheck the option for messages sent on the store server

After you turn off this option, you should notice duplicate emails disappear from the box sent.

    Take care.
