Mail: Problem with mail sorting

For the years covering application rules and sort my mail into different mailboxes worked fine but suddenly it has stopped working. For some reason any all my incoming emails find themselves in the same mailbox (which is not the Inbox where they used to meet if there was no rule applied to the sender). Every single mail ends up in this mailbox randomly no matter if there is a rule applied to the sender or not. I think I have almost a 100 rules so I don't hope that the solution is to create them all again. Help will be greatly appreciated.

(The problem two days ago, when I still had Yosemite. Have now installed El Capitan, hoping it would help)

Try to disable all the rules. If the behavior continues, then you know it's a rule.

If it's a rule, the fastest way to find the offending rule is to use a binary search. You can do it by the reactivation of the half of the rules. Continue this process until the offending article is identified.

  • Problems with the sorting of a table with drop-down text cells

    I have 2 subjects (among a number of topics), and each section has a table.

    I followed Mr Grainge help to sort a table without an arrow and in heading 1, it does not work as expected. When I generate my WebHelp I can click on any one of my columns will sort the data. I can see the little black arrow head and black arrow head.

    I know absolutely nothing about HTML and basically followed the instructions for help and got to work.

    The second is a little different in that has 3 columns and rows about 375. The second column contains cells with the drop down text (but not all) as some have yet to be converted.

    The questions are:

    (1) a column will sort once only. So if I click on column 1, the head of black arrow appears. Subsequently, no amount of click will change the State of the data. I can sort the data on any of the 2 remaining columns, but I can never switch between ascendants and descendants of sequence on the same column.

    (2) in Design view, I see all the data in each cell. After that I generated my WebHelp, some of the cells that contain drop-down text fields are missing. Some are, and some are not. Those who are there, work perfectly when I click on the text and the text of the menu drop-down appears. Each drop-down text field has a bookmark.

    ((3) continuous on 2) above, if I use the combination of keys ctrl-w in design, some of the cells that contain text to menu drop-down are missing (probably all those lacking in the Webhelp) and oddly, some of the borders of the cells (I used light blue) are missing. However, they are there in the WebHelp. A sample is attached.

    Get my second table to work as I had hoped would be fantastic and worthwhile so far. However, I'm not quite there yet and need your help and suggestions.

    Please see the last item in the list under the Notes. I suspect this is the problem.

    When I try to sort the results by using a date field I get no results. I don't get an error message just no result. If I take the code ' AND eventdat = #FORM.eventdat # "of the page, it works fine.

  • Problem with download of columns of hyperlink in reports!

    Hello

    I have an Apex interactive report that has two columns of hyperlink. which, once clicked on in the application opens another application. Which works very well.

    However, when we try to download this report in any format like csv etc using the download option in interactive reports, it shows any hyperlink in the CSV instead of the value of the column. Any suggestions on how to fix this? These columns are of type "Type of report Standard" However, I did not use the report binding attributes. I used directly in sql, hyerplink in the select report

    any suggestions?

    I don't think you can, I had the same problems with the sorting of the column. I did add another column with just the value and no link.

  • Unexpected result with Array.sort

    There seems to be a problem with the sort function when sorting the table contains several elements that are equal. I tried to illustrate this in the most simple form below:

    var test1:Array = ['a', 'b', 'this,' would be '];

    Can anyone find a reason of incompatibility, or is this a bug in the sorting method?

    test3: must be 0,3,1,2 or 3,0,1,2.  They are the same.

    test4: 0,1,3,2 is the same as 3,1,0,2 is the same as 1,0,3,2 is the same as 0,3,1,2 etc.  That is to say, as long as the index 2 is the last, they still.

    Oh, I see the problem.  you think flash is assign an index to the elements of the original array.

    It is not the case.  the method released the list of indices in the sort order.  IE, 0,3,1,2 means the original elements of 0th and 3rd tables are first and 2nd and the 1st element is the third and the 2nd element is the last.

    so, if you wanted to list the elements of original paintings using your sort order for test3, for example, you would use:

    test3 [0], test3 [3], test3 [1], test3 [2] and you expect, a, b, c

  • Problems with outgoing mail / STMP server after has worked for a LONG time...

    Recently I started having trouble with sending an outgoing message. Beyond out lickety split with no problem. Now, once I click on SEND, I get window to send the Message reading "status: connected to stmp.primus.ca...» "but the progress bar continues just to go and go and... rather than a telling me the message has been sent."

    Sometimes the email finally gets sent, after taking in "shipping time E-mail" what's FOREVER, sometimes by that email is not to all and I get the message "send message failed. The message could not be sent using SMTP server smtp.primus.ca for some unknown reason. Check your SMTP server settings are correct and try again or contact your network administrator. »

    I looked in my SMTP settings and noticed that, in aid of Primus, he said the outgoing server port is 465 while mine has been implemented (and worked for ever) 25. I have also noticed that help Primus said connectivity should be set to SSL/TLS, while that mine has been set (and has worked forever) to zero. I made these changes (first simply by changing the port #, then both) but this does not solve the problem.

    I've recently updated Thunderbird to 31.7.0 and I think that these questions CAN coincide with this update, but I am not sure of the time. If this is the case, is it possible that I could get back to the old version of Thunderbird... or move in this way another? ID of the update was not the questions, someone has an idea or an idea on why this would suddenly be a problem with Thunderbird?

    Or should I contact Primus technical support and try to sort it out with them?

    Your anti virus got an update. We get a rash of these every time updates to Thunderbird. The cause is always an anti virus program. usually, Norton or Alvira, but they all get a mention.

  • Problem with the e-mail software

    Hi, I just bought a new computer with windows 8 on it. The e-mail program installed (do not know exactly what!) seems very basic and does not have any provision to create folders to save, or mail sorting. Is it me or I need to install a different e-mail Manager. Ive mucked all day trying to solve this problem but I am about to give up. I tried to download windows essentials, but used to work either, can not even install! First thoughts is regretting the purchase and to stay with XP, but now that I have? Can anyone help please? Dave.

    I see your message that you get an error in the mail indicating that there is a problem with the mail server or the network.  To help get this problem resolved, I suggest that you follow the steps below:

    If mail refers to a problem with the mail server, or the network

    Mail will say that it is impossible to connect due to a problem with the mail server or the network. For example, the message may refer to a connection that has expired, or too many simultaneous connections:

    If you are connected to the Internet, but the connection has expired, your email provider might be affected by a discontinuance of service. Contact them or see their status Web page to ensure that their e-mail service is online. Examples of status pages:

    If the message indicates the number of simultaneous connections, too many of your devices is check your e-mail account at the same time. Quit Mail on one or more of your other devices.

    If you are still unable to send or receive e-mails

    1. Make sure that you have installed latest version of the Mac software updates, especially if the problem occurred immediately after the installation of a previous update.
    2. In OS X El Capitan or later version, you can see a status icon and the short error message in the upper right of the Mail window, under the search box. The message may indicate 'Network offline' or 'Connection failed', for example. Click the message to see more details on the issue.
    3. Check your connection to the Mail connection doctor. It might be able to say more on the issue.

    Here's my problem:

    I have upgraded to iOS 10 on my iPhone 5s this afternoon (September 13), and now I'm not able to open e-mail - Yahoo!, and Gmail. I can receive emails, I'm not able to view the body of these emails. When I press on them, all I see is a blank white page. I can't answer emails either. I can only their flag or remove them. However, I am able to compose new e-mail messages.

    Here are the steps that I've taken to try to solve my problem:

    1. Restarted my phone
    2. Remove and re-add my Mail accounts
    3. Made a backup and a restore full while that plugged into my laptop with the latest version of iTunes.

    I should be grateful if you would help or more information on this issue.

    I also have problems with the Mail application.  On my iphone, ipad, and Mac Pro.  I have several addresses, a MSN, another on Go Daddy and Gmail.  I have various weird problems with threads and every day he re-charge my emails, like if I have never read before.  Something is really problematic with Mail.

  • Ongoing problems with mail

    I had this problem since, I believe, Mavericks. I don't think that I had the problem with Snow Leopard.

    I use the classic layout in Mail.  This problem is to click on a message to read the email. New content look a popup appears generally, which is a duplicate of the message content area. It will usually take the whole screen, blocking my view of the list of e-mail. It does not occur with every email and is very irritating when this happens, which is most of the time. I don't see anything in the menus to stop this behavior.

    I do not believe that this outlook. I think now to switch to Outlook, because I'm tired to happen.

    Is it possible to stop the content of the popup display screens e-mail? Thank you

    Emails are opened in windows separated only if you doublecklick on them. To display it in the window of Mail, simply select an e-mail in the preview window.

    Even if you open an email in a separate window, you can change its size by dragging on the edges of the window. The next email will then open in the same window size and in the same place on your screen.

    Recently upgraded my Mac mini to El Capitan. Before the upgrade (from Mountain Lion), I got Thunderbird mail application works perfectly access my GMail account and my Hotmail account.   • problem with yahoo mail on firefox 30.0

    A few days ago a different version (and apparently much earlier) Yahoo mail appeared on my 30.0 FF browser. It is not working properly, but there is no way to change the settings. A link to "Switch to the new Yahoo Mail", but it does not work. Can I still use yahoo mail on IE, but not on FF. I tried the usual bugs (opening FF in safe mode, disabling modules, clear the cache, etc.) without success.

    Hi Dennis, for what it's worth, Yahoo mail looks normal to me in Firefox 30.

    Have you noticed any problems with secure sites (HTTPS) since this problem has begun, such has duty to make exceptions, or not properly apply styles or lack of features?

    OK, I have a problem with my mail. That is, it uses 1.2 GB of data. I cleaned all my emails and deleted all the big files. Nothing has changed. So I deleted all e-mail accounts. Still no change.     Try to reset your email account in this order.

    First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display.     My outlook on the spectrum 13 account receives emails but suddenly stopped sending them. It seems that they left the Outbox, but they are one of the recipients do not reach. If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then re-run first aid until no errors are reported. Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

    Now, download and reinstall OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 Combo Update.
