  The first thing to understand about resynchronization is that it aims to solve a problem which should be held normally never.

  So if you have not had this problem and you try to get the resynchronization in order to free up space, it will be disappointing and confusing.

  If everything is working properly and that all users are on the same partition to store message, ims_master or tcp_lmtp_server must insert only one copy of the message in the message store and all others will be hard links to it. The nature of the single copy of the message store must be in place for this message to all recipients in the first place. Resynchronization and will have nothing to do.

  Mail recently moved to a hosted solution, but have incoming mail from by postini to rout both our hosted messaging and system on our e-mail server of Oracle for backup purposes.  We want to keep the incoming messages in the e-mail server of Oracle, but we want to disable the ability to send out of it.  What is the best way to achieve this?

  If you "imsimta qm" to enter the qm subcommand and the 'stop ' do for each channel, which will prevent job_controller runs all work to process the mail in the channel lineups. Mail will come, but nothing will be processed.

  If you want the mail to be delivered to local users, but nothing helped send output via SMTP, can only stop channels tcp_ *.

  If person does not use the system, there should be relatively few mail piling up in the canals of tcp_ *, so this should not be a big concern, but just in case...

  My boss ask me on OSB configuration to support send an email to my corporate email server (using https chanel) and e-mail client (some of them is gmail that require SSL or STARTTLS).

  The OSB cannot send emails from email account set up but it cannot connect to the mail server. I think the reason is secured with SSL or TLS authentication.

  Hi Cuong,

  As far as I KNOW, by email via the protocol SSL is not yet supported and is planned for the next version. You can lift SR with support for information.

  is there a reason why you need to use JAVA for this? Oracle email can be easily done using UTL_SMTP - I've been using this package for years with great success http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/pl_sql/htdocs/maildemo_sql.txt - running like a charm 9.2

  Read email oldest, but not yet downloaded.
  Delete or move to another folder.
  In Thunderbird new attempt to get the Messages.

  Report on the results.
