Maintain the original image sequence in LR2 in the importation of the disc?

A new LR2 user, I have to import 3000 + photos birds already published albums IPhoto from Apple, in which I had several years of painstakingly put photos in each album in a different sequence of the names of file based on the date. IPhoto allows me to export each photo album in my sequence to a folder on my computer using a prefix and sequential numbers to replace the names of file based on the date. When I import into LR2 in this folder for example by the method 'Add pictures to catalog without moving' in the dialog for import of LR2 photos enter 'active' importing / "previous import" section in LR2 Library/Catalog in my sequence of. But when I try to convert these photos, sequenced now correctly for me, in a 'Collection', LR 2 LR2 automatically converts all of them again in a sequence of names of files based on the date, a disaster that would require a huge amount of time new sequencing all these pictures... I can't believe that LR2 does not have the need for some photographers to import photos in LR2 in a sequence that is not based on the already established date and keep it like that in the LR2 Collections (as a basis, in my case, for example, for adding new modified photos in LR2 to the collection, once again in my sequence desired (, for slide shows.) I would be very happy to help with what I'm doing wrong and how to do it just to keep my original photo sequence.  Thank you very much!

You can sort the Collections (and directories) a number of criteria. Select you in the toolbar at the bottom of the grid. If you used the name of the file to specify the sequence in iPhoto, you can sort by there. You can also sort by order added, listing and various other items.

Is this what you need?

  • Create proxy for the image sequence

    Hey guys,.

Today, I was delighted to see the newly implemented for PremierePro proxy workflow.

Unfortunately I have not yet figured out how to apply this workflow for image sequences.

    Is this possible?

    Background:

We do not stop motion animation and all our images always comes into frame sequences with each frame being 20 MP. We want to keep the resolution up to photo-serrure, because we would like to keep the possibility to crop and zoom into images.

So far, we have created lowquality of sequences of images as proxies (in the same resolution) and they use them for editing in a FullHD timeline, where we can evolve and frame (and of course change) images. After picture lock replaced the original media. Once the images is online and the harvest is final, we create a FullHD prores file for VFX and editing.

    But this process is error-prone.

When I now import a sequence of images in the creation and create a proxy for her, a mov with only the first image file is created.

    Which is obviously useless.

    My question:

1 would it not possible to import a sequence of images and create a sequence of images of proxy (with the same interpretation of the images, i.e. of framerate) from the original image sequence?

    2. the sequence of images proxy perhaps erred in lower resolution (original image in format 5760 x 3840 px, resolution 1920 x 1080 proxy), and once I pass the proxy to original scaling is adjusted accordingly.

Really looking forward to some tips to achieve this!

    Thanks and good luck

    I had a little further:

I made a mistake by creating templates in the MediaEncoder:

I created a coding model and not a model of ingestion (who both the end of the .edr file), which should in fact have been obvious.

    So now I have:

1 has created a file of 5760 x 3840 Prores4444 out of sequence of images

    2 imported the first PorRes4444

3 creates a proxy using my own template (ProRes 422 Proxy 1920 x 1280) with aspect ratio 3:2.

    It works, BUT:

When I play the file on the timeline proxy, the proxy file is adjusted differently than the original file (proxy disabled), but only during playback.

It is probably a completely different question, I'll create another post for this.

  • Update the duplicate while maintaining the original data

    Hi all

By a mistake, I have created a table, and now we have duplicate entries, while the original is also among them.

In my view, the min (id) will be the original data. How can I delete the duplicate record while maintaining the original and the rest of the table data.

This is the structure of the sample where the XREFand UML combination will make the records in the table as unique.

Because the ID is sequence uses, it will be always unique.

  • Storing original Images in the cloud

    Hello

I'm looking to store my original photos in the cloud (not just the previews and fixtures etc.) so that I can access these on two separate changes to Lightroom on each machine computers. I understand that creating clouds is not a platform for online storage for mass mail so that I considered Dropbox or Google Drive.

Question; If I have two different computers, each with Lightroom installed CC, both related to their local copies of my Dropbox folder as the location of the library, Lightroom on each computer will recognize that they are the same images if I do the local path to the same Dropbox folder on each computer, e.g. c:\dropbox\photos

    Thank you.

    Hi cj.jonesie,

As far as I understand, you're ready to store your original images on dropbox and maintain the Lightroom catalogs on two different machines.

If you will only store the images on your dropbox folder, catalogs would remain separate on both machines so two catalogs would be able to recognize the images as even, but installation in two catalogs would be different.

If you want to access the same catalog of these two machines, then it would be proposed to store your Lightroom Catalog and the original images on external hard and the plugin that grow on the computer on which you want to install.

    Kind regards

  • Why the last image of the exported image sequence is sometimes black?

I get sequences of images in Photoshop and then exporting them to a file mp4 video.  For some reason, Photoshop sometimes decides to put a black frame at the end of the video, no matter what I try settings.  Sometimes it leaves aside the black frame.  I can't understand why he did this.  If anyone knows how to get rid of this?  When I import the resulting sequences first, I need to change all the frames of black.  Not impossible to deal with, but it is kind of a pain.

Use, file-> open and checking the box 'Sequence of Image', I am loading a sequence of JPGs I've cropped in Photoshop (using a script to automate this process), and I specify 23.976 fps. I checked all the JPG files, and they are OK. I play the animation in Photoshop, and it looks good.  I then export the movie using the file-> export-> made video, I use Adobe Media Encoder, h.264 format, high quality, 1920 x 1080 (the original document size), 23.976 fps.  It automatically selects the zone selection to export work.  That seems correct.  In a sequence of images of N, it is said that it will export images 0 to N-1, which I think is OK if it indexes starting at 0 and not 1.  I tried to export (frames) checked, and the result is the same.  The last image is black.  I also tried to change the work area to remove the last image and the last frame of the rendered video is so dark, but the last image of the sequence, I opened is missing.  I checked the image sequence that was exported with the area of complete work (or frameworks) selected and all managers are there - with just a framework black, added at the end, which is certainly not in the work area.

    No error message.

I checked the help, also I tried searching the forums, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

The problem has been around on and off for a few years.  He had disappeared with CC, but now he's back, even though I'm not aware of what I'm doing differently.

  • I opened a picture with preview and all pixels become white. Is it possible to recover the original image?

I just opened the photo and every pixel in it became white. There is no way to return to a previous version of the image, as if she had initially being that color. The size of the image remains the same, but each pixel is white.

This is the second time that's happened, but the previous one, I was able to recover the deleted original file on my SD card, which is not an option at this time.

I would like to know if there is an app or option on Preview that allows me to recover the original image.

  • Photos lost track of the original images

I bought Aperture (my equivalent in local currency of 299 USD), then after that Apple stopped supporting the opening, I migrated to Apple pictures. Just today, I found that more than 500 photos imported from April 2016 are now show as zero KB in the Inspector. The original seem inaccessible to the Photos. The editing mode does not come when I click on 'Edit' and when I zoom to 100%, the image is rasterized.  I cannot determine the cause of this, but managed to find the original images on my drive, in the files managed by the pictures, and themselves do not appear to be corrupt. It seems that the pictures or its metadata the library software is broken. I tried to restart my Mac and the repair of the library three times (starting Photos while pressing the cmd and alt keys). That did not work. Please can you help me?

In Photos preferences you have unchecked the preference for 'copy items imported to the photo library' (library management and the default and very highly recommended) or you have disabled this preference (a referenced library and strongly discouraged)

How you import these photos and what? What format are they?

    Hello

I'm working on a Pavilion P6000 desktop series (WW639AA).  Windows 7 (64 bit) does not load as it seems that his score is corrupt. I ordered a new restore disc (and additional floppy) HP to restore the hard disk.  I tested the hard drive and all past.  However, when I run the Recovery Manager and try to restore the computer, I get the following error:

  • How to take an extracted image and place it in the original image?

    Hey,.

First of all, do not know if this is the right forum, but I can't find a bulletin board for NI Vision issues.

Here's what I do.  To save time in the inspection process, I extracted my original image inspected a subimage.  I used this subimage of threshold to a very low threshold, which is where I get my time saving, but now I need to back under the image in the original image to the same place (just to put them in a viewer and make customers happy).  How can I do?

It seems that your hard drive has gone wrong and that it should be replaced.

  • After the system recovery complete original image

Win 7 Desktop was unstable after a few years, and I wasn't able to run a successful restoration to any number of restore points, so just yesterday, I backed it up and ran the recovery of the system of internal recovery option in the Recovery Manager and not from disks.

The process was nice and smooth, but in 'My computer', I noticed that my original image on the D drive already appears almost complete and wonder if this is the case?

It shows only 327 MB 10.7 GB free space.

My concern is it will be full in no time and leaves no room for new info in case it is always necessary.

So my question is, or the original image is correct as this is what I have to do something now, even if it means another recovery?

    Thanks for the tips

    You are the very welcome

    Happy computing!

  • What should I do if I lost my vista CD when I want to restore to the original image?

What should I do if I lost my vista CD when I want to restore to the original image?

    Hello

Vista came preistalled please contact your computer manufacturer, and then request to send you replacement discs.

PS You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista must be installed. The product key determines which Edition is installed.

Builders recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

  • Rebuilt again drive with the original image, goes into infinite boot loop

    Hello

    I'm going crazy!
I have a laptop (abook), with a new disk in it, because the former was getting bad sectors. I managed to save the data, including the RECOVERY partition. Now, I'm trying to rebuild the image of the factory of this partition on the drive to get a clean computer.
To do this, I try to use imagex.
However, whenever I install the image on an own C: drive, I get infinite loops of starting, with repair system errror messages varies, but is noosloader. Startup Repair or BCDedits does not work.
To make things worse, I ordered the laptop with Windows 7 64 bit edition Home premium ed, but the original image contains Vista Home premium.
What should be my plan of action? I tried to reformat and install the image several times and am hard to run out of ideas.

the recovery partition to reinstall vista operating system failure, not a disk failure lasts

a disk failure hard it is why the computer manufacturer would recommend to make recovery disks

I told you what to do

  • Play the image sequence

Hi, I have png image sequences in my active folder, and I would like to 'play '. Is it possible to do?

    Thank you

According to the number of images, quality images and delay between each picture, you could probably get away with just using a QTimer.

Although I have not tried with cascades/bb10, I did it with older BBOS and almost never ran into performance issues...

in a nutsheel to store a table of images then set up your QTimer (e.g. all the 1 second) to display images in this table using a circular counter.

  • When I scroll through the mask of image sequence does not follow the layer of the timeline?

Another problem. I simply scroll the image sequence and you can see on the screenshot that the mask remains where it was in the beginning. I applied red tinted effect (just to show you), and it does not stick to the station when scroller is at the end of the timeline which is say that the mask is not to follow. But it should, because the mask is the image sequence. Why? Please take a look. Maybe there is something wrong with the Ctrl c and Ctrl v method - it's how I inserted my BW mask in the layer mask?
