  Hello world

  We have created the command script to generate multiple files inx artlink reports and write to a text file.

  Our script will open each document in the selected folder and generate reports of link art. To start at the end of the process of the progress bar window will be placed to display the status of the process. The problem is the progress bar window was sent back after the opening of each document. It is possbile to minimize the window so that the window of progress bar only displayed on the screen as front most window.

  Can someone look into this and help out me. Thanks in advance.

  When you open a document, you can specify whether the window should appear:

  App.Open ("path/to/file.txt", false); does not display a window in the opening.

• Progress indicator window?

  A colleague asked me if Cp had any type of debug window.  I had never seen or heard of it, so I was searching and found the window of the progress indicator.  It does not run any kind of trace or debug, but he has a message on 'imports of current media', but I couldn't it actually nothing to do with rapid tests.  The online help was uh, not very useful.

  I don't know if I understood your point entirely. in any case, I would like to share what I assume.

  The progress indicator pane, essentially shows you information on the progress made in the conversion of any video format non active Flash Format using the SOUL.

  So far, having explored Windows 7 on three different laptops, with 16 GB of memory, another ultra last quick model, I can say is that they are struggling to surpass an old Windows XP machine to 8 years in terms of ease of use - scratch that, they are not even close to being as comfortable and clean. What is the point of a ultra fast processor, if there are so many programs step on each other toes (at least hope so--the alternative is windows 64-bit applications are so poorly coded, they fall by themselves) that the machine is awkward and almost unusable.

  If Microsoft wants to be Apple, I suggest they buy. Oops, too late.

  So far, trying to reconcile with Windows 7 and the rest of 2010 is a process that is unpleasant and inconvenient. I can't help but wonder what all this processing power used wisely in an environment more clean and Windows XP, might look like. God forbid, maybe I should try Linux. None.

  Microsoft would perhaps be good way to offer a clean and lean Windows for someone who lives revolve around:

  Visual Studio

  SQL Server

  Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  Outlook Express (sic, RIP)

  ... and, oh yes, a browser.

  If it takes 80 + services to allow the 5 apps, something is really wrong.

• The issue of maintenance, using Disk Defragmenter, Windows 7.

  Last routine of the disk analysis showed disc [part] 5% fragmented system. All other areas fine and at 0%. If I try to analyze or defragment the system disk, starts for a split second and then jump back in again. User Guide said that this drive will not defragment if nothing else has exclusive access to disk? Don't know what it means, how to identify what blocks and how to get around it.

  Can someone point me in the right direction please?

  Exactly what partition you try to defragment? It would be not reserved system would it?

• How to manually run Windows maintenance?

  Windows 8 comes with Windows Defender, which I think is great. However, Windows maintenance is part of Windows Defender and is running "when [my] computer is inactive." I would like to manually run Windows Maintenance for a number of reasons, namely:

  1. my computer is almost never idle, I always turn off when I can.
  2. I am a gamer, and my PC is almost totally for the games. Because of paragraph 1, Windows Maintenance eventually run while I'm in the game, if I can get a drop decent in the FPS for about an hour.
  3. Windows update runs when Windows maintenance done, automatically install important updates. However, many 'important' updates are not important at all, as Intel Smart Connect Technology (Bloatware) IE10 updates (my default browser is Chrome). I need to choose what updates I want to install.
  As you can see, it is not really beneficial for the maintenance of Windows run on a schedule for me, but I don't want to turn it off completely, because of the tasks of the system, it performs, which are very helpful. Could someone please tell me if it is possible to run Windows Maintenance manually and if so, how?   . Are what maintenance Windows you referring? Are you referring to the Maintenance of the system?

  If you are referring to the Maintenance of the system, then follow the steps to run the troubleshooting of system maintenance utility:

  a. simultaneously press keys Windows symbol + W , type of system maintenance in the "search" tab and press enter.

  b. follow the onscreen instructions.

  You can choose how the windows updates to be installed on your computer by following the steps:

  a. press the keys Windows + C on your keyboard and click on settings, click change PC settings.

  b. click Update & recovery; Click Choose how to install the updates.

  c. Select the Option as updates but let me choose whether to download and install them.

Many of the automated internal jobs Oracle (for example statistics collection) are overlapping with other application work.  I'm confused that adequate controls are to change the on/off time for the maintenance for these jobs window.  Can I change the window, set_attribute, etc...

  Can someone tell me the proper commands to view and edit the start and stop time for the window/internal maintenance task?

• Can not stop "ongoing maintenance" win 8 64 bit

  I am running 8 64 windows and Center said action "maintenance is underway" and I can't stop at the center of action.

  go to "open the Action Center" & click on "stop maintenance" in the menu "maintenance". If you want to change the settings manually then clik on "change settings of maintenance.

• Could not restore Windows 7

  A parent came to ask for help. The laptop is a HP Pavilion dm4-2040ez.

  What will you do when the system asks you to insert another disc?

  The recovery disks are images files and they are looking for the hard drive the same size install on.

• Windows Explorer hangs when copying large files on external USB drive

  I'm trying to copy files over 1 GB of my pc to a WD MyBook external drive. After about 10% on the progress indicator, Windows Explorer crashes. When I cancel the work, nothing happens until I unplug the USB. Then I have the pc returns to normal.

  During my research, I discovered that a lot of people have this problem. I have tried many suggestions, but without result. The last thing I tried was a full format the C: drive with a fresh install of Vista. Copy a large file gave me the message 'Calculating time' infinite. After you have installed SP1 reappeared the problem as explained above.

  Some of the things I've tried:
  check the external hard drive: no problem found and the problem occurs on all my MesLivres 3
  safe mode
  Superfetching disabled
  update the motherboard bios

  Now my last request resource helps professionals. If I don't find a solution I'll have to go back to XP, achieve Win7 or one rating for Mac... a lot of things to think about.

• How to put a Windows Explorer window title?

  My partner has struggled for 10 years with maintenance of file in windows.

  It's worse on his laptop Vista, because WIndows Explorer does not have a title bar, so she relaise what program, she is running.

  Is there a "reg" key I can hack to put "Windows Explorer" on the bloody thing?

  ·          Do you find a title bar when you open any program on the computer?

  When you start any program on the computer, you will find the title bar that indicates which program you enter.

  But in Windows Explorer you can find the empty title bar because you're in some cases and do not open any program. In windows Explorer, you will find only the address bar which shows the position that you are running.
