  The user ID is the name of the user account and if you have set a password for connection which would be your password.
  If you are not using any password, just click OK.

• Hard drive controller is released on the PC need help with setting up new controller

  I have a HP with a built NVidia controller on the mobo.  The controller was an error and I am installing an Adaptec 2120SA on the system controller.  The computer sees the controller and it tries to start the operating system but has problems it BlueScreens and it blue screens quickly so I do not see the error code.  but I think it's because I don't have the drivers of the controller installed in the operating system.  I really don't want to reload the workstation.  Is it possible to install the drivers of the controller without starting the operating system I tried three other PC and they all have the same questions. as the driver for the controller is not there.  The OS is Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  The PC is no longer under warranty and a replacement MoBo is too much money.

  There is a way that can be attempted to identify the problem and we'll see if it helps.
  You need to extract the driver file from hard drive controller on a floppy/flash your motherboard CD drive, and then you restart the computer with the Windows Vista operating system DVD.

  1. turn on your computer and insert the CD or the DVD of Windows Vista.
  2. on the page install Windows, do not click on install now. Instead, click on repair your computer. The System Recovery Options dialog box appears.
  3. click load drivers and it prompts you to insert your floppy disk or USB key.
  4. navigate to the correct device and click Ok.

  Once the drivers are installed correctly, remove the DVD and diskette. Restart the computer and who should do it.

• 'Use the cartridges SETUP' error on the printer, need help!

  I bought the printer last year in the months of August and after 6 months of use, it started having problems printing wireless. I always had to use USB to print from my laptop so I was recommended by people in this forum to reset my printer to the factory.

  I have reset several times and nothing worked, so I was advised to do so by using the Cancel button and the middle button that reset the printer. Now the problem is it says "Cartridges use SETUP" and my printer is out of warranty, it expired last month. I'm really confused about what to do. I am a student and I still have the print job and I can't afford a new printer. Calling support has no idea what to do and email support does not because of my warranty as you exhale.

• Desperately need help with win XP Edition family, I need to update my PC but get the error message "cannot connect to the server.

  I need to update my pc, I have windows xp home edition. I had sp2 on my computer, but my system crashed almost and I had to do a total system recovery and it removed my files. Tried to download again, but I can't. I get error could not connect to the server. I have no virus or worms and checked each article are saying sp1 kb. • Need help with Win XP Installation on Satellite A200

  Hello

  I tried to install Win XP on a new Satellite A200 - 1TJ model PSAE3, so I used the link that is given to me and downloaded the Intel storage utility Disk Manager. But it does not at all.

  I did these steps so far:

  -Insert the CD in Win XP (version 32 b) laptop, press F12 to boot from the CD and start the installation. After the installation has begun, I pressed F6.
  -After a few seconds, Windows XP asked me for some externel drivers, I have inserted the floppy disk with the drivers in my external floppy drive, pressed in and chose the 82801 HEM / HBM SATA AHCI for my laptop. (Yes, it's the right one, I tried with the driver of another, similar, but it works with the first)
  -Continue the Installation, Windows asked me to install Windows XP, press F8 to accept, and she continued.
  -The window to the right controller appeared, I have chosen to format and create partitions, stop the installation and everything repeated while Win Vista is not your HARD drive, but the driver is installed.
  -J' chose C:\ to install, press ENTER to accept and then the first Windows files had been copied on the HARD disk.

  - Then the installation stopped, asked me to insert the "Intel Storage Manager driver" to my floppy drive, in my opinion the right one was inserted, I pressed Enter to continue, but nothing has changed.

  I just tried to use a WInXP unattended to pre-install the right drivers, but with this CD, the installation does not start. I also tried some drivers of Intel and Toshiba for the Intel Storage Manager, downlaoded all them and get to the disk, but it does not continue with the installation of Win XP.

  Maybe someone has another idea?

  The Intel Matrix Storage Manager is the right driver, well, looks like you made a mistake.

  You have formatted and created the partitions after the installation of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. Please don t format the HARD drive, because in this case, you will lose the SATA driver!

  By the way; NLite software could help you to create a new XP and include the SATA drivers.

  I have not always perfer the output of the DIVIS HP 50 g.

  DIVIDED lists all the factors of a number in a way that is ineffiecent and confusing when there are many factors of a given number.

• Back up the server: need help with synchronization of Microsoft.

  At work, we have a server lets just say its called \\backupsrv and we have My Documents of each user directed their C drive to the backup to the backup server. We also had to each user and with them logged in we ensure that their documents point to the \\backupsrv and we go to my computer\tools\folder options and click to activate offline files and synchronize with log off. Finally, we right-click on users my doc folder and select make available offline.

  The problem we see is that when we look at our network in a program called Orion that shows us how our network is used and time when most bandwidth is used. We notice on certain PC, it syncs when some users log on in the morning. Who uses a lot of bandwidth since it's synchronize users my docs for the backup server when is this. The majority of users is another branch and their my sync docs for the backup of the server that is on the road to the main branch. We checked these PC users and they are set to synchronize when you sign off the coast. Anyone else have problems with Micrsoft synchronization over a network? The operating system that we use on the PC is WinXP SP3

  I bought a Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB SSD for my OS. The MB is an ASUS Z97 WiFi ac USB3.1 running a 4 GHz i7. The Z97 has Intel and ASMedia ports.

  
  

  My current configuration has a 120 GB for Win7, two Samsung Spinpoints SSD in RAID 0 as my D drive (my scratch disk, which has worked perfectly) and two WD black 1 TB in a RAID mirror as my E drive where I put all my videos, audio files (mirror raid because I'm insanely paranoid).   My Windows 7 doesn't is selling at retail, but from 2011 so no SP1. I have already downloaded all the updates via WSUS Offline if I can do a proper update once installed Win7. This will be my first time through this method, but people swear by him.

It was at the time where the ssd did not last very long and it was an attempt to give them a longer life expectancy. now ssd last much longer is allowed to place the pagefile on ssd. When it comes to the filename of the page, you want it on a fast reader. the more memory you have at least windows will have to exchange information in RAM to the paging file. so if you have enough ram, the swap file usage will be less to reduce the wear and tear on any drive.

  Sorry, you can not do this. LIKE takes exactly 2 operands. Neither one can be a list, and you cannot use ALL, ALL or OPERATORS with LIKE.

  If you don't want to write 3 conditions, connected by OR, then look for something more LIKE to get the desired results.

  In this example, you are only interested in the 1st character. SUBSTR is an easy way to get the first character, so you can say

  SUBSTR (code, 1, 1)   IN ('T', '3', 'U')
  

  which is how I would prefer to do this particular task, although AS worked as you tried.

  Otherwise, try regular expressions, you can consider SIMILAR on steroids:

  REGEXP_LIKE ( code

So when I got to decide the page I really have trouble using slices of standard form. The only way around it (that I could see) was to create hot spots so that I could create the shape I needed.
