Make a right click menu disappears on a mouse move

This building 38.0.1 using Windows Vista. It is quite fantastic boring. I can erase it by closing the tab current seems to occur more on YouTube?

I don't want to be told there is a problem with one of my Add ons. I don't have time for all that. I want Firefox to fix it. Almost every time a new version comes there a serious problem these days. It's too. I want a stable version without all the hassle. If you cannot provide a then I'll switch to a new browser. In the end, it will be a lot less time.

I've been with Firefox for years, but it's just too much hassle now. Fix it and keep it fixed or lose me. End of.

Thank you, Fred. I'll give it a go. Appreciated.

    Morgan23,

    Hello world
Thunderbird collapsed to display the context menu on the mailing list recently. Make a right-click displays just the cross line. What is the problem could be?
    Thanks anyone for any help.

    Win 8.1 64
    Thun 31.3.0

    Very strange.
Make a right click on the email list should open a menu drop-down.
Usually a line crossed through something means that it is marked as deleted in an imap e-mail account.

See if there is a conflict with an add-on.
    Restart Thunderbird in safe mode.
Help > restart with disabled addons.

then run the same test; Right click on the email list.
Do you get the drop down, if so, then one of your addons is the origin of the conflict.
You'd have to disbale each in turn to find what the problem is.
    Maybe the addon should update.

Is your copy of Mozilla's Firefox, or was it provided by your favorite distribution? Maybe your distro added some extra features in Firefox for a better integration. If you haven't already done so, try to download a copy here and see if you get a menu popup long in the executable file:

If that doesn't help also, you may need to use the extension to hide the context menu entries:

  • Windows 7: make a right click does not work and sliders moving to voluntarily

    Hello.

Until these two options, I want just to say I have swapped/changed my mouse without success AND I tried to restore to an earlier point.
My computer won't let me not make a right-click in the installed software (what is Microsoft looks good, but my Kindle app and Google Chrome as affected).
The right click menu will appear, but she disappears before you click on something.
At the same time, I seem to be unable to scroll down (for example, when you used the file > open option and scroll down) using my mouse. The sliders seem to control themselves. If I try to turn down the volume on my computer the cursor automatically moves to highest, and if I try to scroll the cursor automatically try to pull up. I can't stop it, even when I click on it it forces fair itself upward.
Anyone know what on Earth is wrong with the computer? Rebooted, restored, etc etc. I don't want to have to reformat and reinstall Windows 7!
Help! The computer seems to have a mind of your own.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I indeed checked by safe mode, but also the configuration of system (clean boot) that's causing the problem. He helped eliminate it as a problem with one of the Microsoft software. Also, it was not a physical fault with my laptop. What he helped me identify is the problem with the wireless mouse.
All I had to do was unplug the wireless mouse and put the old fashioned a good with a cable attached to it and the computer was back to normal!
Thanks for the support, he helped sort!

  • Right click menu items of modules have changed

For some reason, I'll only have this problem on my work computer, not at home, even though I know I am running the same version of Firefox and most of the same extensions (both computers running Windows 7, too). I have at least three different add-ons that include (or) elements of context menu - Pushbullet, Adblock Plus and open in current tab recently - and I don't know what changed to cause this - open in current tab disappeared altogether in the context menu, and Pushbullet and Adblock items moved to the top of the menu, above all that is supposed to be on top , as 'open in a new tab '. I can't find anything in the options of these modules is all relevant. Open in current tab doesn't seem to not even have options. I also installed menu editor, thinking I want to manually change the right-click menu options to the way they were, but none of these menu options Add on appears in the list of available options.

No idea what could be wrong?

HE may have updated in preparation for the e10s in versions every night.

However, it is most likely your addons interaction with the other. Ones you mention have elements in the right click menu, so you can disable all the add ons but those, show the menus right click upward?

    Also check the malware:

    Reinstalling firefox did not help.

Problem was caused by the FIREBUG Addon 1.10.6.

EDIT: FIREBUG 1.11.2 fixed problem. It seems that firebug is not updated autoamticly, you must remove the old addon and reinstall the new version.

    Hello

A defective Explorer shell extension in the right click menu seems to be the problem. It could also be linked to the third-party software.

Follow the method 1 and method 2 to resolve this problem.

    Method 1:

To check if the problem is caused by a third-party application, put your system at startup boot and see if right click works fine then.

See this article for more details.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Method 2:

To see if the Explorer shell extension is corrupted or not, open the registry editor and save the selected branch, remove managers of context menus one by one.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following link.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-the-registry

Open the registry editor and save the branch selected, delete management context menus one by one.

    To access the Registry Editor:

    (a) go to start and type regedit.exe.

    (b) managers of context menus are located in

    ·        [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFileSystemObjects\shellex\ contextmenuhandlers]

    ·        [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\contextmenuhandlers]

    ·        [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\contextmenuhandlers]

    (c) select 'Register' - 'Export register', so you can restore your changes later. Choose to export only the selected branch.

    (d) now remove a context menu Manager after another, and then every time try (Windows Explorer) if right click works again. In this way, you should find the faulty extension.

    (e) when you've found, you must double-click on the .reg created above to restore all shell extensions and then only delete the faulty extension.

Also check the properties of sensitivity of touchpad and mouse under the controls of the mouse.

  • Right-click menu drop-down

I am running Windows Vista on my Compaq laptop. I had to restore my computer. Before restore, I right click on a folder and the drop down menu would have options
    move to...
    copy to...
and then asked to select one of them, the next drop down where you want to copy or move.

Now, after the restoration, when I right click on a folder, the only option it shows is
    Send to...

How can I return the other drop-down menus?

  • lack of right-click menu on the taskbar

Hello.  I was clicking on the menu right click on the bar of tasks and managed to accidentally do the menu disappears.  I wonder how do I get it back.  I tried right-clicking on the Start button to get the properties of the taskbar, but it does not contain an option for this.  I am running Windows 7 SP1.  After search in the Microsoft Knowledge base, it seems, there is a way to do it for an earlier version of the operating system, but the instructions are not applicable to Windows 7 (I tried).  FYI, my taskbar is visible and locked, so there is no problem with that.  Of course, without the menu, I can't hide, unlock, or move the taskbar, not that I'm worried.
