Make copies of DVD

I had put my home movies on DVD by a professional. I only had a copy of each and now I would like to make a few copies of each of my children. I would do it on my laptop (which has a disk drive). I guess I'll have to burn all of them on the hard drive and then burn it to a blank disc from there, but I don't know exactly how to proceed and would like advice to facilitate this.

If the DVDs are not copy protected information
can be useful.

First... just a suggestion... using a slow burn speed
produces a more reliable copy.

If you have software like Nero installed may have
an option for copying DVDs.

Also, the following method can be your answer...
(at least it works for me).

The following freeware can create an ISO Image
that allows to burn copies. Once you have the
image created... you can use it to burn as many copies
as you need.

FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system

  • All-in-one Photosmart HP 7520: cannot make Copies

I am able to print whatever image is on my PC screen.  I'm unable to print when I put the original on the glass of the printer.  I tried turning the printer off & on.  I have the latest updates from HP.

    Hi @Darrell1,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you can not make copies with your HP Photosmart 7520. I'm happy to discuss this issue for you!

    A few questions for you:

    • You use genuine HP cartridges or refills?
    • None of your ink cartridges are empty or low?
    • You see error messages on the display of the printer, when you try to copy?
    • If you lift the lid of the scanner during the copy, do you see a light come on? And the bar moving scanner?

In the meantime, please try a hard reset by accessing this post, How to perform a hard reset, by @Rich1. It is important that the power cable from the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

I hope hear from you soon!

  • How to make copies?

I just bought the HP Deskjet 2544 all-in-one printer and it works fine if I want to print something from my Imac or the phone, but I can't do to make photocopies (front and back). Press the buttons do I need? Or is it my computer? I am probably being thick but I can't make it work! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @kimbo81and welcome to the Forums of HP, thanks for reaching out!

I can certainly help you make copies of the printer.

All documents are copied to print normal quality mode. You cannot change the quality of the printing mode when copying.
  • HP Photosmart 5520:5520 won't make copies

Yesterday, I noticed that my black cartridge was low so I went out and bought all new and installed cartridges on my Photosmart 5520. I must say that price wise, it's a draw up between buying a new printer and the cartridges. Think I have save about $ 5 million by getting only the cartridges. The problem now is that the printer will not make copies of anyway, does anyone know why? It was working fine until I put the new in HP cartridges.

    Hello

I suggest the printer, disconnect the power supply to the wall.  Wait 60 seconds, and then reconnect the power.  The printer will go through a series of noises "power."

Once it's ready, see if he'll make copies.

  • How can I make copies dark on my Pixma MG3220

I'm having trouble making copies on my canon pixma MG 3220 I need assistance immediately please. If there is someone who can help me I would really appreciate it.

Patrick, thank you for your reply but unfortnately it did not work. I'm making a copy of a page of my bank book. But the page that I am trying to copy is printed too light. I scanned in my paint program and I thought he'd given me some instructions on how to darken the copy, but I don't see anything that gives me this opportunity. I use MS paint if this helps at all. You have any suggestions, anything would be helpful. This Pixma MG3220 printer is not really as good as I thought it would be. It's the first printer that I've heard of who you cannot make copies light or dark. What printer have the opportunity for you to make dark copies.

  • Menu copy Deskjet F4140 won't make copies.

I recently updated my Macbook Pro to Lion... Mac Os X 10.7.4 now my menu copy of HP don't make copies... it gives me an error message that says no default device not connected.  Help

If you are using Snow Leopard or Lion and you have the HP software before Snow Leopard (either from a CD that is not marked as compatible with the 10.6/10.7 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard or Lion and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard from the old software uninstaller or installed new software on top of it) , you must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
    Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall< this="" is="" the="" scrubber="" option,="" there="" is="" no="" button="" labeled="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Download and install this: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907

    Restart your Mac.

    Now reset the printing system:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • ASM actively to avoid hot spots and make copies of archived newspapers?

    Hi all

I have two small question, I hope.

1 ASM avoid hot spots of rebalancing active files, or the re - balance does when records are added and deleted? I believe that ASM is not "actively" hot spots in this way, simply avoids through its design, i.e. striping of files/entries across all the LUNS in a disc of the group, but need to confirm my manager.

2 using external redundancy, ASM does make copies of the archived redo logs?

    Thank you
    Stuart

ASM avoids implicitly "hotspots" using the SAME methodology to strip everything on all the disks in the disk group, you are the answer is Yes. A rebalancing operation is necessary when the disks are added or removed from the disk group, if the number of disks does not change then the files will be always balanced on these discs (hope makes sense).

External redundancy faces ASM does nothing with the creation of redundant copies of all files, external redundancy means that you use RAID protection at the level of storage (e.g. RAID1), so ideally all data written to the asm disks is reflected at the level of storage on redundant disks in the RAID group. With external redundancy, the only way ASM will write two copies of a newspaper to check is if you tell the database to write in two places on ASM disks.
