  Hello

  If you look at the example file * .fla, you will see how it's done. First make your text in symbols in order to be moved and faded. Then add to the timeline with a keyframe. Define another keyframe further to the bottom of the timeline and move the text to the final position. Specify alpha (transparency) for the relevant keyframe values make the unseen text. Apply a motion tween between the two keyframes and hey-presto the text moves and fades at the same time.

  Im trying to do a header which changes when you scroll the page. I know how to make the text scrolls and back according to the key position, but his does not work if my key is less than my position of text on the page.

  Ideally, I would like to get so that I scroll to the area of 'Wine', the previous header will slide out and 'Wine' will slide in from the left.

• Question: Text effects

  I do a "wordle" of sorts. I hate the Wordles, but that's what the boss wants so I'll try to be as creative as possible with the skills I have. I decided to do a word ("give") and put the individual words which represent the word "give". I happened to fall on this picture below just by doing a search on google (quite lucky to find almost exactly what I was counting on a google search!).

  In the image below, 'peace' is in a dark gray, so it merges with that of the black. The word 'peace' or smaller words have a kind of type that makes the letters in the word plu show as bright white? Or they just color each letter individually? Because many letters are half white/half dark, it makes me think he might be a text effect.

  If this is the case, how? I had to do in indesign or another program? I usually don't use text effects often so I'm not too well informed of what needs to be done (i.e. the small words should be white or black? big word ['gives'] is darker or lighter?). I tried several different options without success. It is a last minute project (but it is very important) so I did not have much time.

  You could do something a bit like this in Indesign, but I consider Illustrator or Photoshop. One of the effects that you can't really do in Indesign are the blurry text that doesn't fit in the main word. Any application you choose, the construction would be essentially the same. Define the word 'Give' and vectorize. Define all the sentences more small, group, apply the white effect, [Paste in] - [clip] - [mask] in the main word. Duplicate this group and apply the blur and the transparency effect, place this group behind the main word. Here's a quick attempt in Indesign, I used a pen on the darker text effect, which is not a good blur.

  Most of the transitions are with Y year X (left, right, tilt, rotation, low and high), opacity with alpha as well as certain triggers that make smoother.

  (is there a list of other commands that can be used in the workaround?)

  I want to make the text in a kind of effect... type each letter after another, what can we bij animate and/or greensock?

  I saw a plugin of breath, but I don't know how to use that in the lively...

  To animate text in Adobe animate, if you use fonts custom, your best bet is to divide your text twice, convert each letter to a movie clip symbol, distribute video clips of layers and animate each of them with their own tween.

  If you just want they appear one by one, without any sort of bland or movement, you can skip breaking apart each letter in video clips, keep the text on one layer and reveal it with a mask instead: How to use layers of mask in Adobe animate CC

  If you use a dynamic text, there would be other ways to reveal with the code, but I'm assuming that you are using the static text because I know how customers love their custom fonts.

  Alternatively, if you're comfortable working outdoors to animate, for text effects of animation with Greensock... impressive the plugin SplitText is amazing for DOM elements if you use web fonts for your project: GreenSock | SplitText (Please note that this will not work in Animate, that uses the canvas).

• How can I make the text forward and backward instead of just turning in a circle?

  Hello! I'm on After Effects text animation and somehow I was able to make my text go forward and back (a bit like a sign that blows in the Breeze) for my first word, but now I'm not able to find this option more. Does anyone know how to make this happen? I thought that's the direction that I think is supposed to happen when you use the rotation mode but all I have is the ability to rotate. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

  If you want to animate the characters, you can use the animate (more on this subject further in my post)

  There is also an option to set the path to a text layer (Adobe programmers - why not the forms too?)

  Exactly what version of InDesign are you using? The current version is 2015.3 (11.3). What operating system? Have you tried to restore your InDesign preferences?

• How to make a text becomes more visible?

  Maybe I didn't use google much, but I can't find anything in the internet this might solve my question.

  Basically, I want to work with a white background, where a text is that becomes more visible on more it approximates rained from the lower part. The tricky thing is, it's for a Web site, then it must be responsive to smartphones or tablets for example (first idea: put the white at the front bottom layer as it makes the text more visible/invisible?). Any ideas how to fix? It would be good to know.

  I don't know what that means "be sensitive to smartphones or tablets.  People put the complex graphics on these things all the time.  They have unprecedented power.

  Photoshop can help you to do what you describe.  What you want is not more complex than to put a gradient in a layer mask to create partial transparency.  You could have the text of discoloration (in the form of a chart) or a solid color fill of discoloration that overlap text rendered by a browser.

• How to make a 3D shape tool to make the attached effect? Help, please!

  This is one of my favorite ads for a few years and have found a similar use for style. The text which says delicious according to me is done with a brush but whenever I try to create the effect seems flat. The red lines remain on top and do not wind it suggesting the straw to be 3D. Another problem I did the shadows on the straw to look as realistic. I have a good amount of knowledge in illustrator, so I understand most of the parts of the program very well.

  No info to make the straw effect will help. What I can say so far is each letter in fact individullay and I believe they used the Brush tool.

  I have the new version of Illustrator CC on a mac. I also own a Tablet if it will help recreate the text.

  As mentioned, I don't have a brush "3D" (THAT would be cool!). This is a facsimile of the illustration of the effect using mixtures, opacity masks and clipping masks:

  I wanted to post in this forum for basic reactions about the merger of text. On the image I sent a link, I want the flowers to be at 100% opacity, but I also want the stems to fade to highlight black overlay text. I learned a little by Lynda.com tutorials on how the text can be used effectively in photoshop, but I have yet to come across anything that contributes to explain how I can partially melted an image in order to underline the text effectively, while making no fade look so obvious. I tried various blend modes, it doesn't seem to help; and I also tried a subtle outer glow of effects using the background color as my sample of reference of the glow:

  (1) how can I produce several lines-text effects with PE11 (and more complex, like the 3D animations)?

  Ronald,

  You are right. The title preset animations only works on a single line of text.

  However, there are several ways around this limitation.

  I like to create just the title, that I need and then Keyframe the fixed effects > Motion > Position, make the animations/conduct. Like most of the added value effects such as blur and many others, can also be animated with keyframes, it is limited only by their imagination. These effects of alterations will apply to the title, regardless of however many lines of text or other objects is on the title.

• Cut gemstone text effect

  Hey guys,.

  I am slowly teaching myself Illustrator, usually to come up with a project that you want and then explore for more tools. I am stumped on this one, however, because I've reached the limits of what I can understand. I would love it if people could point me to some useful tutorials or it would be amazing that someone could show me how to do this.

  I'm doing a treatment of title for a text where it seems that the words are made of emeralds (a gemstone green, cut effect) or green crystals. I tried to play with a bevel effect, color sections different colors of green, then make a second version of black to white gradient then do lighten opacity... the results of my efforts are below. I guess if I keep working on it he could go somewhere halfway decent as a text effect... but it isn't really look like a brilliant Emerald gem.

  Pointers would be much appreciated. I am not a beginner and I'm really looking to continue to improve, so I look forward to more advanced pointers, but I may have to ask for clarification if he gets too advanced!

  OK - got this pic - Let's say that it of a graveyard scene - but could be anything - could be a billboard for example.   Anywhay - I know not how to make another layer and put the test on the layer on top of the tombstone - but it looks LIKE another layer - like test is floating on a layer superimposed on the tombstone.  How can I make the text look more a part of the image, that it overlaps?

  Try the following:

  1. Open image file
  2. Access to the text tool, use bold, message type
  3. Effects palette open
  4. Go to bevels > inner simple > apply
  5. Go to visibility > hide > apply
  6. Double-click the letter 'f' on the text layer to bring up the dialog box Style, refine function.

  Is that what you're after?
