• Portege R100 video cable does not reach the replacement LCD screen

  Hi guys, I have replaced the LCD screen of my Toshiba R100, than they had in it was defective. It seemed that it was a replacement at some point however. In any case, I received my new screen, but does not reach the video cable to the top of the circuit of LCD screens. How am I meant to connect it to the screen? Is there an extension cable or what? The screen they had in there previously looked like they were welded copper wires about 8 digitizer.

  Are you sure that it is perfectly compatible with your laptop protected R100 to 100%?

  Looks like it s not fully compatible
  However, if an extra cable is necessary you can get it from the Toshiba ASP in your country.

The hinges are is detached and has finally folded the video cable a year ago, the battery is dead, and (perhaps because of the set video cable) it sometimes stops suddenly when the screen is in certain positions.   I have a laptop Compaq Presario CQ61-411WM CCFL 1366 x 768 LED, which was abandoned and had a cracked screen, I couldn't see the lines on the screen, so I replaced the screen with a new screen with a conversion kit. I couldn't get any video on the screen, but I was able to get the video on an external monitor, so I ordered a video cable used off of ebay, and when I installed the video cable being used I was able to get video, but the desktop and icons have been distorted and not clear. When I opened a web page online photos were blurry and distorted, and writing and letters on the page were clear. I just did a fresh install of windows 7 Home premium and I used the recovery DVD to do this, and I also used the DVD driver supplied with the computer.  I reinstalled windows 7 think there's something wrong with the video driver, and it does not solve the clarity of the picture or the screen. But when I connected to an external monitor to the laptop the screen clarity and icons and contrast and color were all very good.  I also had travel wavey lines and colours distorted on the laptop screen, but once again, all on the external monitor was good, clear and perfect to read and see.

  I don't know if the monitor LED is bad, or if I bought a bad video cable.

  I want to order a different video cable off of ebay, but I'll wait and get a few comments here.

  I send you the back screen for a replacement. They will check the video cable, conversion kit, and the screen and make it work for me. I don't have the right parts to test and refine the problem. Thanks for your comments

  I have a HP 2311 x which was bought in end Nov 11.  I used it with my custom computer Pro Windows 7 64 bit on a GTX 460 graphics card via DVI.  Friday I started to get the message to check the video cable to a black screen and then the screen to standby.  When the monitor made its start sequence DVI input is recognized as active, but I still receive the message check the video cable.  Here are some of the things I've done:

  I changed video DVI cables-unchanged

  I tried to manually select the input DVI - no change

  Used the second my unchanged video card DVI connection

  Used my GTX 460 and DVI cable on another monitor-everything worked well

  Plugged the cable well checked the HP 2311 x - no change

  Used a VGA output, a 2nd video legacy card(Radeon X1550)-monitor has worked with a slight distortion

  Used output DVI check video cable Radeon X 1550 - received message

  Used of an Asus Eee PC monitor VGA output worked without any problem

  I have not tried HDMI, or I want to use the HDMI.  If the monitor has been done to DVI it should work.  Any help would be appreciated.  I've seen other threads with a similar problem, but they were not using the HDMI DVI input.

  Only fix an active video cable to the monitor.

  Try a reset of the monitor. Unplug the power cord from the monitor and hold the power button of the monitor for 30 to 60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and it lights up. Now restore the Source entry in the menu of the DVI monitor.

  Try the monitor on another PC via DVI.

  I have a Qosmio F50-114.
  I want to capture video via the video cable supplied with the computer.

  The computer came with a video component cable software plug-in (1 x 3, 5mm - 3xRCA white/red/yellow). The only place in the manual stating that cable is the only a-in-the-box-section.

  On my old Qosmio F20, I had a specific connector for the video cable component software plug-in. There is no specific 3, 5mm connector so I suspect that I have to join one of the IR ports, or one of the audio-connectors (?).

  Looking forward to a response.

  Don t get me wrong, but I'm 99.9% sure that there is no video port on Qosmio F50. As far as I know that these books are not available, they have a video output only, port but not port of entry to capture video.
  So you mixed up something I think

  What you may be hearing is integrated TV Tuner, but on this port you can only record videos from DVB - T signal.

  As far as I know if you connect your device to the TV, check the settings for S-video on the TV.

  By the way:
  All new TVs from 70 cm to the top screen diagonal must effectively control S-Video connection on SCART. However, this should be enabled in some cases. If the image does not appear in the color anyway, your TV doesn't support certainly S-video. In this case there are adapters that allows S-Video Composite video (RCA cable). You can find it in all the electronic stores.

  I bought my Qosmio G20-120 of the Poland that came with D video cable SCART. This cable is only capable of transferring video signals (CVBS) which is pretty useless, because Qoismio already has a S-video out... What is the best simple video production I can get to SCART.
  According to www.toshiba-europe.com Qoismio is supposed to have video output component. But it comes with cable SCART instead. I always try to make this component video cable D-video of the Distributor. If I don't succeed, does anyone know if and where I can buy this cable in Europe? Or is it possible to make a video component with the D-video out D-video cable with cable SCART?
  Everyone last tried the channels high definition DVB-S on Qoismio using USB 2.0 DVB - S TV Card.Any opinions on Pinnacle PCTV 400e?

  Sorry, but I don t agree with you. SCART in my opinion is always better than S-Video. As far as I know cable SCART can transfer image and sound and picture just S-Video. Am I wrong?

  In my view, it's great that laptop Qosmio has two video ports and each use can make a choice.

  I bought the Qosmio G50-11s and received a video cable with it. (Jack mini jack RCA Red/white/yellow) But I find no way to connect it to my laptop, not the manual or all online resources talks about it. The problem is that I need to capture video from my VCR to my laptop and normal TV antenna comes with a lot of noise, so I have to use video in the cable. Any ideas?
