Make Web sites open to my screen size 17 inches.

My problem is I want Web sites to open to the size of my screen 17 "but with my list toolbars. I was able to accomplish this by "output file" to save the settings to open some sites like previously expanded. However, this moment is no longer works for some sites so now I have a few sites (my hope of course page) opening small and other opening too large. How to restore consistency to the size of the page and use the pages to complete my screen 17 "without having to constantly adjust the size?

In case you use 'Clear history of Firefox closing' or otherwise to clear the history.

    What you're doing wrong?

1 creation of the site in Photoshop (web sites should not be made entirely of)
    graphics card...)

    2. the use of Dreamweaver layers

    3. deprecated code in style using the background instead of CSS color...

As much as what it looks like, obviously we cannot say anything unless we see...

  • How do you see your bookmarks if you have a Web site open?

It doesn't seem to be any drop-down menu or the button to display your bookmarks while you are browsing Web sites. I have to close all the tabs, and then there is a bar at the top that says bookmark. It is not very practical when you're in the middle of the navigation. I tried to leave a tab open to just my favorites and other tabs to my bookmark tab open, but when I go back to my bookmark tab, it is all reset and I have to start all over again drill down bookmark files. Yet once, is not useful at all. Is there an easier way to access my favorites while having Web sites open?

To check the bookmarks that you do not have to close tabs. Type right on the address bar or open a new tab and tap on the Bookmarks panel.

There is no drop-down menu or list button to display the bookmarks. The reason for this is to simplify / unify UI keep lightweight browser as mobile devices generally have fewer resources and space on the screen compared to desktop computers.

  • How can I make my new Web site auto resize to any size monitor?  Or is there a function I can select or click on which will allow my site on auto size?

We're almost done with a Web site that we worked on for our company.  We noticed that while it seems to fit perfectly on most of our standard HD monitors, we have still a few who are not HD and know that many of our customers will be the same.  These monitors that are not HD seem cut off from footer and side just a little.

It is a feature of MUSE that will automatically resize a Web site for the monitor which shows?  If not, how this is done?

I guess (or hope) you mean that the content of the window (the site) must adapt to the browser window, because you can't force the browser window to adapt (maximize if the user set smaller, or any size on a Mac) on the screen of the computer.

If it is indeed the adaptation of the content you need, then take a look at all the 'sensitive' news, that the current version of the Muse offers today. Check out the video tutorials and Help pages !

  • EU binkiland malware removed, now on my Web site opens another window

New laptop with windows 8.1 when downloading one of the software programs I need, had a few malware. Binkiland was one of them, another I don't remember name of. Got the two removed after several hours. the binkiland went to the register, everywhere in my pc and in: config in firefox.

At random, it seems to happen that, while on a website, a window will open up with advertising stuff on it. I see it happen today to my own Web site, which has zero advertising on it. I pressed my links on this site and a tab open with advertising "Kelly Blue Book".

In general, I find that windows 8.1 seems not as robust for malware / attacks on windows 7. I can't believe how crap got installed on this new PC, which never happened in my 35 years of establishment of personal computers. Well, having needed to vent a bit, Google Chrome got also installed after the installation of FireFox, and for sure I look at these screens and set the options. I think that Avast is probably doing this, don't ever saw this option appear so I could uncheck it.

I looked for the addons of Firefox, the only thing it is Avast.

    Appreciate your help.

    Thank you
    Betsy

You can start with some additional scanners, because everyone tends to find different things. Our technical support article lists the tools that other Firefox users have found useful: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These are free and take a long time to run. If they seem to end quickly, especially if they require the payment you can have a more serious infection. Specialized forums listed in the article would be the next stop in this case.

If the links are being diverted, an extension is the prime suspect. An extension with hiding capabilities, you can visit the Add-ons page once again mode without failure of Firefox. It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still works

After stops in Firefox, a small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not reset).

All new extensions? Any change in behavior?

Links can also be hijacked by a proxy or if your DNS settings have been hacked. To check the settings of Firefox, you can use:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > tab mini network > button "settings".

The default value of "Use system proxy settings" piggybacks on your LAN-Windows/IE setting, but you can also try 'no proxy '.

  • Web site opens in a new window but has no scroll bar

    Hello
I am a new user, so I'm not yet fully aware of the use of Firefox.

I use http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/ site several times a day. The site is in general more often perfectly OK, but one of the links I use all the time doesn't behave in a usable way. The link on the home page is:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/market_data/ticker/markets/default.stm, which opens in a new window without scroll bars. Can I relative to the size of the window, but not enough to display the entire contents.

If I use the address of the link in a new tab, everything works fine and the scroll bars are present.

I'm migrating from the Opera browser and opera, when I use the embedded link, it opens a new window, but it has the current scroll bars.

Is this a Firefox problem, or maybe the site is at the origin of this problem - I could not guess who.

BTW, the website of the BBC is based, and for users not UK, it can be used completely different pages.

I looked through a bunch of FF options, but so far have not found anything that could be applied to the problem.

IMO, this website is too small size of popup windows setting, don't leave enough room for the content of the page when the viewer zoom in the page.

You can disable this feature this preference by typing about: config.

    DOM.disable_window_move_resize

Double-click this preference to activate to true.

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/about:config

Change dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars true will replace Web site to hide scroll bars.

  • Some Web sites open without my intension in firefox

in recent days, some sites are open without any request.simply they open without my intention. the following Web sites are open.
    http://www.healthscratches.com/index.php/mental-health
    http://www.healthscratches.com/index.php/allergies
    http://www.traveltous.NET/index.php/exotic-locations
    http://www.financerocks.com/index.php/insurance

    When they open? At startup?

  • When I start Firefox, no Web site opens. He says that's not available. Internet Explore works on web sites. I deleted and reloaded Mozilla and it did not help.

It started about 2 weeks ago. The homepage is Cox and he said initially that the web site was being repaired. Now whe Mozzilla is open, a message appears that the site is uavailable. By clicking all bookmarks results in the same message. The message appears immediately after the button enter is pushed.

One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • I opened a new tab and click on the bookmark in the bookmarks bar, and the web site opens in a sidebar. I want it open in the window with full tabs.

I love Firefox, but this problem frustrates me. I want to access a favorite site and have bookmarked. When I click this bookmark, the site opens in a sidebar! How can I open in the window of the tab complete?

You can change the properties of the bookmark for this problem.

If you right click and choose Properties, you will check a box to the bottom of the dialog box that opens the bookmark in the sidebar. Uncheck the box that and click Save.

    It work?

(When you use a link on a Web site to store a bookmark, they added in this way. You can use Ctrl + d or the 'star' of the address bar to add the bookmark without opening it in the box.)

  • Designed a website at home on the latest version of Muse... and the need to put on the College computers that use an older version of Muse.  How can I make my site opened on Muse at the College?

I also exported my Web site in HTML format, so I can download it on the servers of the College through Dreamweaver.  But even how to open these files exported to Dreamweaver?  Because at the present time all the individual HTML pages for links are there, as well as images and CSS, but not the actual website in one.

    Any help is appreciated

    See you soon

Because at the present time all the individual HTML pages for links are there, as well as images and CSS, but not the actual website in one.

It's just what it is. Muse container format can be seen on the web, so your published files are bog standard HTML and CSS. If the relative folder structure is chosen, you should have no problem opening your pages in DW. For the ease of use you can create a site definition in DW to point to your published root folder. Otherwise, you cannot mix different versions of Muse. Your new file does not open on your older version at the College.

Some of the sites that I use at work requires a login to access all pages. Some examples would be our business, applications, etc. sites SharePoint Intranet.

Anyone know if there is a way to connect to Web sites although browser lab so I could possibly test things more far away?

Yes, but you will need to use Firefox with Firebug and our installed Firebug BrowserLab extension.

    You can get Firebug here:

And the BrowserLab for Firebug add-on here:

  • How to make hyperlinks in a (load on a Web site) open PDF in a new window?

I don't want the user to have to click the back button to return to the Web page.

When I did the button in the pdf file, I used the action: open a web link.

When you view the file in acrobat it obviously opens the link via my browser, however, when it is loaded on the site, she has just opened in the same browser window.

Anyone who manages to solve this issue before?

I have now trawled across many forums and not found something appropriate. If someone sees a solution to it elsewhere then please share the link.

    Thank you very much

    Z

I'm assuming that you have created connection objects, or even objects Button... If the links in your file are generated automatically by the application, you cannot use this script. If you created them yourself, you change their action "Open web page", "Run a JavaScript", and then paste the code into the Editor window of JS that opens.
