  I ripped a commercial CD of songs to my PC.  I was editing some info on the CD and went to the Internet for CD cover which did not appear on the CD.

  There are loads of these compilations, and sometimes the metadata service used by WMP cannot identify them. However, if the titles found correctly tracks when you ripped the disc first you should be able to find them by the method I suggested... otherwise it would be down to manually fix. I had to do it once with the second disk of a game... Disc1 was beautiful but Disc 2 was completely false.

  Subject of the work - if you ever have this problem again seek work in "Google Images". This way you get just the album art and no other associated disk information.
