Malware in my photo gallery files.

My Photo Gallery files have recently large bogus photos uploaded without my permission or knowledge.  I guess it is a virus (Trojan horse?) and I would like to delete the bogus photos.  False files are sometimes multiple reproductions of my legit photos and sometimes ads from various companies and topics.  I tried to delete individual files from a fake, but the task is gigantic and false files are interspersed in the photo library.

  • Windows Live-no photo gallery is not able to change the location of import of images

    Windows Live Photo Gallery

I'm having a problem accessing the Import tab I can change the folder where I want my photos to import into. The AutoPlay option is not a solution to this problem because the import option is no longer in existence within the Windows Live Photo Gallery. By following these steps, I'll show you where the problem occurred. Go to Windows Live Photo Gallery > file > Options > general/import/Tags > import >? White screen? There is no option. The same thing happens if I go to Windows Live Photo gallery > file > import from a camera or scanner > camera memory card > guest import pictures and videos > Options >? does not respond when you click the button options. Is there a solution that exists? I have not yet found one.

  • Photo Gallery will not open picture

After screwing around upgrading to windows 10 and then find that it did not some of the things that I assumed that it would report to Windows 7, I went back to Windows 7.

I just now tried opening a photo gallery file (not open for a long time prior) that has been in my computer has always been initially created on/with Photo Gallery, and I'm now greeted with this message:

"Photo Gallery can't open this photo or video.  This file format is not supported or you do not have the latest updates of photo gallery"

What is going on?  How can I get the latest updates to the photo gallery to see if this is the solution I'm looking for?

    I'd install fresh from http://get.live.com.

All Windows 7 is indeed postponed to 10 Windows, it's just not by default.  For example, after having upgraded the default image program could change with the new application, but you can always switch to the viewer of Windows 7. But that applies to all parts of it.  You can do basically Windows 10 stay exactly like 7 If you want to. Example:

    Windows 7 Windows 10
  • I get a message that the request for assistance does not exist when I try to open a jpg file or files in excel attachments. I have associated use windows live photo gallery

I went to tools, Options, attachments and there are associated programs that should be able to open files - Windows Live Photo gallery for the Microsoft Excel for excel files and JPG files. I actually download and save the files and then open them. Is there any solution for this?

Go back and delete associations and start again by opening one of these files. Thunderbird will recreate the Scriptures based on your choices and they will then probably work.

  • Creation of files-Photo Gallery

Another silly question (maybe)... Can I create a folder in my photo gallery and move images into this folder? I would like to be able to separate from the rest of the Gallery of pictures, but I can't seem to find out if there is a way to do it.

get a file Explorer to move and create the folders on the market as "Androzip' which is free or you can do it when it is connected to your computer.

Did you try to rename or delete your Pictures.pd5 file?
After doing so, the next time you open WLPG a new .pd5
the file will be created and your photo gallery must be such that it
the first time you opened it.

Take a look at the following link:

Stops Windows Live Photo Gallery (944221)
    answer or does not start
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/944221/en-us

In later versions of Windows Live Photo Gallery...
the name of the file is Pictures.pd5.

After Renaming Pictures.pd5 you will need to re-catalogue
your photos. If rename Pictures.pd5 does not resolve the
problem... you can delete the new file Pictures.pd5 and
change the name of the original file to Pictures.pd5
and the catalog is restored. John Inzer - MS - MVP - digital media experience

  • Error unknown 0x88982F50 when you try to change the properties of a JPEG file in the Windows Photo Gallery

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack1 and use Windows Photo Gallery to managemy photos. I like the fact that I can integrate tags and ratings in JPEG files.

I just noticed though, that the tag is no longer to be stored in the JPEG file. I know because when I saw the properties of the file tag information I have in the Windows Photo Gallery is not present. If I try to change the properties directly, I get an error message stating:

An unexpected error prevented the operation. Make a note of this error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem: 0x88982F50 error: No. Error Description available.

    I checked the file isn't read-only etc.

I searched Microsoft.com for this error and have found no help. I searched the internet and have seen many forums to raise this issue, but I can't find a solution.

Note that when I try to fix an image in Windows (eye of harvest/red etc.) Photo Gallery, I also get an error that says I can't save the changes.

For me, it looks like a component is faulty or missing, but how is it resolved?

Windows Media Sharing Service reader network

    5. click on this process. Click the end «»
Treat button"at the bottom right of the screen.
    Confirm 'End process' if necessary.

  • Photo Gallery can't open this picture because you do not have permission to the location of the file asscess

I had to format my pc yesterday and I can't access my photos on my hardrive 2ndry can anyone help this is the message I get when I try to view them
Photo Gallery can't open this picture because you do not have permission to the location of the file asscess RJ

I recently started having the SAME problem. Windows Photo Viewer working wonder in the past months on the same exact images without any problems.

I suspect that Microsoft update the code somewhere which pushed as an update - what is now the cause of the problem.

As a diagnosis, I tried with the right button "open with...". "and chose the paint. The same file opened without any problem.

All the pictures are generated for all images without problem.

Still, Windows Photo Viewer cannot display ALL my image files. Paint has no problem.

Similarly, right click 'open with... '. "and choose Microsoft Office 2010. Loading the image without any problems.

If the original poster has the same success using other programs - then the problem is with the Windows Photo Viewer - Microsoft of not having it recognize permissions for the code or something.

It's on Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit. Latest updates applied Microsoft.
