  Windows Defender
  Microsoft Security Essential
  Spybot S & D latest
  Malware Microsoft Fixit

  I don't trust Huawei, and what look like these keys are to monitor my laptops I/O activities through any player or the USB port.

  Try here to get started: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=87588&infoType=Overview.  If she doesn't have one for your operating system, then what version of Windows do you use (e.g., 32-bit Vista Business SP2 or other - to be specific).  Also, how it is connected to the computer (directly through LPT1 cable, USB cable, wireless, bluetooth, network, and if so, what is the operating system of the computer to which it is connected)?

  Also, if I read the download section of the correctiy link above, it is more than just the drivers.  It seems you also need software and firmware may be even so, depending on your operating system (and if you update one, you must update all because they often work in harmony with each other).  There is probably also a specific installation procedure (depending on what you do in what order and whether or not the printer should be turned on or more likely, when it should be turned on).  Appropriate manuals can be found here: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Doc&oid=87588&prodoid=63070161&category=Products.

  It turns out that I had some kind of malware that block access to directories and files system. I used the software "Malware Bytes" (they have a free trial version), and there are lots of malware other programs did not. After cleaning and restarted my computer, everything was back to normal!

• Cannot install the scanner (Epson Workforce 500) Windows 7 driver

  I have an Epson Workforce 500 multifunction printer, copier, scanner, fax, which worked well in the past, but the scanner no longer works.

  I tried several times, following the line (and by telephone with a technician of Epson) instructions on downloading and installing the printer updated and drivers scanner Epson.  However, always, the installation stops and the message that drivers cannot be installed (and then restart and try again message appears).

  Tech Guy is probably correct. We don't usually see reports on problems with Epson printers, but ID is not the best app wise when it comes to printing. The usual solution is to export to PDF and print that instead.
