  Hi all

  I read some of the 2006 post, it helped me some what but I'm still stuck.  I can communicate with the card reader SCR335 until getting the list of card reader.  When I use the winscard.dll to get the status of the card, I get '6' which means nothing to me.  I'm including what I've done so far, but I still need to read the card chip.   I had also used two third-pary active X control but not anywhere either.  One of Priore and SCardX_Easy 1.  Thanks in advance.

  If you plan to build your app for Windows, you can use .NET classes. (System.PerformanceCounter), there is a simple example with LabVIEW:

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\examples\comm\dotnet\SimpleTaskMonitor.llb

  

  Also, you have several screws that you can use to verify information about the processor.

  I posted this question in the Council of Labview, but seems that nobody does it so far. I don't know what is the best place to ask this question. So I reposted here.  Thank you very much.

  I am a newbie to Labview. I'm writing a few vi to display and write data to Mdsplus.  I downloaded Mdsplus(labview) can discover Mdsplus functions, like mdsconnect, mdsput, ect, in vi to call a library function. But I have no ideal how to use it. I tried to use the Mdsconnect function to connect to a machine, but it still gives me an error like: Labview: an exception occurred in the external code that is called by a call library function node...  I was looking for help on the internet documents, but could not find anything useful. Could you please help me with this problem?  If you have examples of these vi, or teach me how it, it would be very useful. I'm using Labview 8 (windows). I would appreciate your help!  Looking forward for your reply.

  I have a project which includes control and searching for information on a PROBER. One of the difficulties I have now is how to implement a WAFER card using LabVIEW. According to the requirements of my client, the element of pads varies between 6 k and 23 k. I guess that do everything (a = a ctl/indicator led) will be a hell of a task, especially on how to effectively manipulate each elements. Does anyone have a better idea on the way whose that?

  I think that we will need a little more information as to how you capture the data, what data you capture, etc.

  If you capture a waveform, is to extract the time data waveform which includes the t0 and dt values, so you can understand the time stamp of a specific data point as in the image below.

  I'm using labview to communicate with MS257 (a monochromator). If I do not use Labview, I have to use the hand controller (set a wavelength from 300 to 1100 under a grating (a total of four grids).) It takes a lot of time. So I want to use labview to realize the automation. But I don't know how to do, I still can put only a wavelength as a command for MS257, not making any difference.

  So where are you stuck? It is a fairly common task. Inside of a loop, you can increment the "xxx" and build a table of responses. Look at the Format function in the chain and a knot of shift register/feedback.

  There are a few methods of network communications in LabVIEW.

  Some of them, in no particular order:

  -Network shared Variables

  -Flow network

  -Screw HTTP and Web Services client

  -TCP

  -UDP

  (There are also libraries of pre-written e-mail based on UDP/TCP)

  Which the decision to go for depends on many factors (e.g. should you read the last value of variables, flow without any loss of data, data dissemination or send messages/packets of data, etc.). I suggest take you a look at some examples in the finder of the example (help-> find examples...). If you are really new to LabVIEW, I suggest you take some free LabVIEW tutorials - take a look at the links at the bottom of the first post in this thread.

One is a guarantee of strength Imada SPAS with RS232 output. The other is a micrometer Panasonic HL-G103-S-J laser sensor which is RS422. I have done significant programming LabVIEW using GPIB, but I have no experience with devices such as these. No matter what tutorial or examples would be greatly appreciated.

  When you plug the USB-RS-232 converter, it installs a driver under Windows which makes it look like any other RS-232 port.  You may need to install the driver of everything that came on the CD with the converter.  It will get a Com as Com5 port number according to what is the next available number.

  You can either use the LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit or LabSQL to communicate with the SQL data bases. Take a look at those and after if you have other questions.
