Manage icons on the same screen

Hi team,

I have the following icon in a file of my application:

BitmapField phone = new BitmapField(Bitmap.getBitmapResource("phone.png"), FIELD_VCENTER);

I have to show this icon more than once in the same file.

I defined the following code:

_manager = (VerticalFieldManager)getMainManager();

_container_client_info = new VerticalFieldManager();

_container_phone = new HorizontalFieldManager();
_container_phone1 = new HorizontalFieldManager();

 XYEdges rounded_edges = new XYEdges(11, 11, 11, 11);
        Border rounded_content = BorderFactory.createBitmapBorder(rounded_edges, Bitmap.getBitmapResource(_resources.getString(IMAGE_BOX)));

_container_client_info.setBorder(rounded_content);

String _pType = _seed.getElement(HopperData.PHONE_TYPE);
String _pType1 = _seed.getElement(HopperData.PHONE_TYPE1);

LabelField _phone_type = new LabelField(" " + _seed.getElement(HopperData.PHONE_TYPE) + ": ");
LabelField _phone_type1 = new LabelField(" " + _seed.getElement(HopperData.PHONE_TYPE1) + ": ");

LabelField _phone = new LabelField(_seed.getElement(HopperData.PHONE), LabelField.USE_ALL_WIDTH);
LabelField _phone1 = new LabelField(_seed.getElement(HopperData.PHONE1), LabelField.USE_ALL_WIDTH);

_container_client_info.add(_container_phone);
_container_client_info.add(_container_phone1);

if (_pType.equals("Cell"))
   _container_phone.add(cell);
else
   _container_phone.add(phone);

_container_phone.add(_phone_type);
_container_phone.add(_phone);

/**
  * Control for second phone.
  */
String telephone1 = _seed.getElement(HopperData.PHONE1);

if (!telephone1.equals("0"))
{
   if (_pType1.equals("Cell"))
        _container_phone1.add(cell);
   else

        _container_phone.add(phone);

   _container_phone1.add(_phone_type1);
   _container_phone1.add(_phone1);
}

The result displays the following information:

Icon1 phone Type 1: number of Phone.1

ICON2 Type pf 2 phone: phone number 2

in this case the icon1 and icon2 are the same when the phone type is differet to CELL

Download

Phone type: Home

Phone type: work

I'll show the same icon.

So I have managers different vertical and horizontal for 1 phone and phone 2 that I will have to define the following code twice:

BitmapField phone = new BitmapField(Bitmap.getBitmapResource("phone.png"), FIELD_VCENTER);

O how is the icon even twice or more in the same screen.

Thank you

Jorge Luis

Hello

I think that in the current scenario, you need to create different BitmapField with the same resource i.e phone.png.

I think that if appropriate, you can use a listfield and in each line, you can view the different entries and use the drawBitmap method to render the same image.

    If you use Gmail app. As much as I know there is no BB AOL application itself like Gmail app.

    But you can incorporate into your AOL via BIS account (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/software/internet.jsp) and gmail account can be integrated in the same way. This way, your e-mail will be pushed the same corporate e-mail, without having to chk mailed on the app.

  • How is the best way to change the label of an icon on the home screen

    When I place an icon on the home screen I want to change the label, I wish it were.

    I don't see in an integrated way to do this.

    You can name a bookmark all you want, but when you a site now pressure on the home screen and click on Edit, bookmarks are not always suggested as matches. The only way I can assure you that a referenced site is listed is to add some unique characters for the name of the bookmark that don't arise in the history of this site. Of course, this is taking away total control...

    The easiest way is probably in bookmarks the page that you are willing to have the icon and by changing the name of the bookmark by pressing on long, long press again to add it to your screen.

    required screen really, just need standard tft works ok?

    Hello

    Satellite A85 is unknown to me but to my knowledge the A30 has been delivered in different views:
    15.0 inch, screen SXGA 1400 × 1050 pixels.
    15.0 inch XGA, 1024 × 768 screen pixels

    I think that this view could be compatible with the A85, but maybe the display resolution is a little different.

    In Labview, is it possible to put two windows (both sides) appears on the same screen together, one behind the other, during run mode?

    It's a shame

    Secondary, it's a great way to call subVIs and you load only code when you call it, so it ease your use of resources.

    Anyway, you can call Vi as pop up:

    You could split your FP using the separator.

  • Document from Windows Media Player AND MS Windows open on the same screen

    Hello.

    I'm doing a very long media (recorded voice) transcript of court recorded on Windows Media Player in a document typed on MS Word (using Windows XP).

    I would like to know if it is possible to have Windows Media Player and my document strikes MS Word open on the SAME screen.  I am currently switch between two programs using my bottom toolbar.  It is extremely time consuming and not very well.  Ideally, I would like to open my Windows Media Player, in a small screen on the right upper side of my MS Word document.  This would allow me to work out of the same screen without having to click will result in my bottom toolbar to switch between these programs.  I'm sure that I explained properly :-).  ANY help, suggestions and advice will be highly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    AJS

    You should be able to do it by opening the two programs, then right click on the taskbar and selecting "Tile Windows vertically".  Just make sure that they are only two open programs.

    This screenshot shows WMP and WordPad, because I do not have Word installed, but it should work exactly the same thing:

    How to use transfer windows for xp to xp.  When I plug usb computers are delivered to the top with the same screen and when I try to use the transfer to the new computer, it just said information gathering and sits for hours

    Hello, welcome.

    The process is automatic and the maximum transfer rate should be about 20 GB/HR. If the process crashes during that long of a time, it's probably because of something internal rather something you're doing wrong.
    For reference purposes, I included this link. It goes into the details of the migration from XP to Vista (and the basic steps you follow). The instructions are for migrating to Vista via the network, but you can easily follow the steps and choose a different option for your specific installation.
    For both machines, I recommend you to prepare for the transfer using the following procedure:
    1. click on START > run
    2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
    3. go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries displayed
    4. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
    DO NOT RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AGAIN
    5. click on START > run
    6. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result at the top of the menu START and select 'run as administrator '.
    7. type chkdsk /r and press enter
    8 allow the system to attempt disassembly of the volume
    9. allow the system to plan restarting
    10. restart your computer
    11 let checkdisk analyze the file system on your hard drive
    12. Once completed, perform the same steps on the other machine
    13. Once completed, repeat the transfer

    Thank you!

    Can't detect the wireless, gateway 4025gz. mod, turn on wireless, Dosnt show the icon in the login screen. OK before wipjng drive.

    If it worked before wiping the disc, then it is likely, you are missing a player specific to material not included in WIndows XP.  Log on to the gateway website and download the drivers for the chipset and network.  Naturally, you will need to use a wired network connection.

    In general, Gateway provides the drivers specific to the hardware on a recovery of the system partition, and they also provide a tool so you can burn data on CD/DVD restore.  Do you stil have this partition or did you remove it?

    Every time I buy a PC, I always download copies of the material of the web site of the vendor-specific drivers and keep them on a flash drive, so that they are available when I wipe a PC and reinstall.  I also do the recovery partition recovery disks.

    Do not follow exactly...

    What is your system brand and model?

    What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

    Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

    The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

    The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

    You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

    If your system uses to work properly, what do you think might have happened to her since the last time, that it did not work properly?

    If there is a problem starting, XP is configured to automatically try to start again and you can stuck in a loop not being able to go beyond the screen boot options, or none of these startup options you choose will work only.

    Sometimes, when XP has a problem starting or falls down and tries to start again, it will give you a "short" menu of boot options and none of them will appear to be good to get your system going again.  You have tried them all!

    The options are similar to the Advanced Boot Options menu XP, but the only option that you need (disable automatic error system reboot) are not offered, because XP went too far during the boot process and offers a limited number of boot options.

    If this is the case, you must call Options menu advanced boot yourself until you do not see the option:

    Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

    When you get the XP Advanced Options correct start menu you want to see, he has options on it like these:

    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt

    Enable Boot logging
    Enable VGA mode
    Last good Configuration known (your most recent settings that worked)
    Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
    Debug mode
    Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

    Start Windows normally
    Reset
    Return to OS Choices Menu

    You need to choose in this menu is the option:

    Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

    Then if XP does not start normally, you will see an error screen with information and clues about the problem and then you can decide what to do next.

    If you do not see the automatic restart on system failure option turn it off, you must reset your system and start typing the key F8 on the keyboard until you see her disable automatic restart on system failure option.

    If you miss the window of opportunity F8, you must try again and start tapping the F8 key with more urgency (earlier and more frequently) until you see disable automatic restart on system failure, and then select.

    You must keep trying the F8 menu until you see disable automatic restart on system failure option, and select it.

    If your system has a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), we need to know what the screen says:

    Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:

    http://TechRepublic.com.com/i/tr/downloads/images/bsod_a.jpg

    Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).

    Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.

    If it looks like there is some kind of name listed in the STOP message file, send this line also.

    Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

    Answering queries and results report of the disable automatic restart on system failure screen and you can decide what to do next.

  • The two external monitors show the same screen

    original title: using 2 external monitors on a laptop using Dynadock U10 problems

    Hi guys,.

    I try to use two external monitors using my a Dynadock U10..., I bought because it says you can use two external monitors with it!

    I installed the drivers for Displaylink etc.

    I plugged both monitors to the Dynadock (one via the VGA input) and one through DVI. When I have my laptop open it using cell phone as main screen and extends the office to both monitors, but both monitors have the same screen. If I identify screens, the laptop screen is 1 'and the monitors are the two 3'.

    If I close the laptop (I put the settings to not do anything if the lid is closed) and select my monitor as the main screen, they still both have the same image and the settins wont let me go to another screen. If I identify the screens, the two screens are developed under the number "1".

    I use Windows Vista. My laptop graphics card is "ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics"

    Any help would be appreciated!

    See you soon,.
