Management of links in an e-mail message

We seem to have some osrt of the number with our links, and I was wondering if someone here can point me in the right direction.  I talked to customer support and they are studying, but I thought I'd throw it here as well.

We have an email with several links... when I go to the manage links page, all links are redirect... we have the red x on the right

untitled.JPG

Now, none of the links are actually tracking... know it is probably a fundamental question and I was watching it too long..but... I want to follow these links... what should I do if anything to change that...

Try selecting "redirect" again on all the links and click update at the bottom right. At this point, he has to hide all your links so that's all that followed.

See if that extra push will help.

    If you need to install an e-mail client, then download one and install it or use it if it comes with your version of WIndows,.  For WIndows XP, Outlook Express is included.  For Windows Vista, Windows Mail is included.  Windows 7 has no built-in e-mail client, so you will need to install an exotic like Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, WIndows Live Mail or any other mail available free clients.

  • A link in an e-mail message to consume webservice database

    OK, that's what I want to achieve.
    I want to have a letter to be sent to customers with 2 buttons inside: YES/No.
    By clicking on these buttons, the answer must be stored in the database and the user should find themselves on a page that told him we recorded his response.

    What I have:
    I have a stored procedure that records the feedback from users.
    I exposed this procedure as a Web service (follow this procedure: http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/native-oracle-xml-db-web-services-11gr1.php)
    I can see my WSDL successfully.

    Now, I have some questions on how to continue on this point on:
    (1) is there a good thread/blog/article that explains what security measures, I must take to protect this webservice and avoid SQL injection or other malicious software. Suggestions appreciated.
    (2) when I wanted to test the Web service by accessing using a URL I get ORA-1011 (similar to [this metric | https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=10282165] I found this thread, but it really does not give a solution to the problem)
    (3) at this point, I have absolutely no idea on how to achieve the user will end up on a confirmation page during his speech is recorded.

    Thanks for your advice!

    You need an Apache (httpd Oracle Server) server with Oracle's Apache module called mod_plsql. Or you need to set up http access to Oracle directly to the database by using a feature called EPG.

    Are you familiar with?

    As for the part of the web-enabled procedure. PL/SQL procedure, but can read the presentation of web browser (CGI variables, cookies read) and interact with the web browser (writing a cookie, send an HTML page, image, XML or or whatever).

    The simplest of the Internet procedure is something like this:

    // let's pretend the proc is created in the SCOTT schema
    create or replace procedure HelloWorld( name varchar2 default null ) is
    begin
      if name is null then
        htp.prn( 'Hello World' );
      else
        htp.prn( 'Hello '||InitCap(name) );
      end;
    end;

    // web (Apache mod_plsql) access to Oracle is via the
    // ANONYMOUS schema for example - so we need to
    // allow that schema to execute our proc
    grant execute on HelloWorld to ANONYMOUS;

    The name argument is optional. Then the web browser can refer to the procedure of extension web as follows:

    http://my-web-server.mydomain.com:8080/orcl/scott.helloworld

    This request will display an HTML page that contains the sentence "+ Hello World" +.

    The name argument can be used by the web browser. For example

    http://my-web-server.mydomain.com:8080/orcl/scott.helloworld?name=john

    This request will display an HTML page that contains the sentence "+ Hello John." + "

    So the call interface ito arguments and parameters available, works exactly as when you call a stored procedure from another client such as SQL * more.

    The only downside is that the browser passes name-values as string parameters, to the query string, it supports with the URL at Apache. This means mod_plsql gets only the values of string as parameter values - and these must be implicitly converted into date or number data types if your procedure parameters using these data types.

    It is advisable to rather to set all the parameters as the string and in your procedure, data type conversion and control, and exception management.

    Bottom line. A web procedure activated differs very little from a normal procedure and can do everything a normal procedure can do (treatment ito). The only real limitation is above mentioned client-passing-all-parameter-values-as-strings question. And the only difference is that a compatible web can actually write the output (any payload valid Mime support in HTML) in the client - which means that your process can generate dynamic web pages, dynamic content such as CSV and XML and so on.

  • Outlook Express does not accept attachments or links in e-mail messages sent from Outlook!

    I am trying to solve this problem for my mom, that's NOT it at all, and she lives in another State!

    I use Outlook (had Office 2007 on XP but now set to level to 2010 on Win7).  My mother uses Outlook Express with Vista.

    Whenever I have send his spare part, she can't open them.  They are all photos.  She said: "there is no where to click."  When I've been there and have been able to test this, she's right: there is not a paper clip (i.e., no attachment).  She also told me that he "didn't there no place to click" on the links that I send, also.  Oddly, this happens with another person that I send to, which (by chance) Outlook Express also used.  I never hear of someone else.  I think there are some setting on their ends, but I was not able to understand.  There is nothing click on slot the Internet Option settings to allow attachments (he said something about it in the option, but it is not a clickable area next).

    Anyone know what could be the problem?  Thank you very much for your help.

    You must attach the images to an e-mail message in plain textformat. Outlook Express and quite a few other email clients, do not include Outlook to RTF (Rich Text Format) and will never see the attachment. Bruce Hagen

  • Questions of blackBerry Smartphones on the management of e-mail messages

    Hello

    IM new to BBing and try to include the management of e-mail on my BB tour.  Can help you with these questions?

    By clicking on the option "file" for a selected message emal presents a choice of 3 folders: one named for my e-mail account, one named "inbox" and another named "Spam."   Rather than put my email in one of these folders, I would like to put in a special folder that I will not name.  How can I be able to do this?

    What is a sign less '-' in front of an average of folder name?  for example "-Inbox.

    Where are found e-mail records?  Is it possible that I can see a list of all folders and files on my BB?

    Another option for a selected e-mail message is 'save '.  What does that mean?  Where is saved the message?  Why is it always displayed in the message list?  Is it possible to know what messages in the list have been saved?

    option "file"? you mean the menu button (button to the left of the trackball with the BB logo)?

    for what is saved messages, if you save it, it is saved in a folder of messages backed up, which is hidden by default and you can display the icon or press the menu and view saved the message. not very convenient if its still in your Inbox. But if you save it, and then delete. You can then go to the menu and view saved messages and you will see now all e-mails backed up, even if you have removed from the Inbox... unless you remove then to save.
