Well, I just hope that someone who has met these two mistakes will find my dose. It might save a lot of pointless research on the net.
SYMPTOMS:
-When you try to open a Silverlight application in your browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE, etc), your browser displays only a white area. When you right click on the white area, you can click on the Silverlight properties.
-If you try to start "Computer management" by clicking on the 'My Computer' icon and select 'Manage', you get the following error: 'access denied '.CAUSE:
The following errors are usually the result of a bad environment variable. In this case the "windir" environment variable does not work correctly. You can try running the management of the computer to start > run and entering:
%windir%\system32\mmc.exe/s %windir%\system32\compmgmt.mscNotice the between the characters of percentage windir environment variable. If you run the above code, you will probably get an error saying that MMC cannot open the file. Look closely at the path, it's back!
You will probably find any % somewhere. What actually happened here is the variable windir made reference to another variable: systemroot
Why this creates problems, I'm not sure. Also, I don't understand what made then variable windir change.SOLUTION:
-From your desktop or Explorer: right-click on "My computer" and select "Properties".
-Click on the "Advanced" tab and then click "Environment Variables".http://pcauthorities.com/images/advanced-system-properties-XP.jpg
-Did the windir variable. Together to "C:\Windows" do not think that it is already set to "C:\Windows", because windows then tells you. Double-click it to know for sure.

-See, I told you! Change this to "C:\Windows".

Hi Jooch,Thanks for posting such a detailed response, including symptoms, Cause, and resolution to "White Screen Of Death" with Silverlight and "Access denied" error with computer management"issues.I appreciate your time and effort to do the same. This could help other users of the forum as well. -

the cause of the problem was:
After the clone for the new Production Server FND_CONCURRENT_PROCESSES & FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table 'old' lines were still talking to the node that is no longer available in the new production to LOGFILE_NAME and OUTFILE_NAME columns.
And after the removal of these lines, executes the request was very quick and works as it should work now.

Unexplained error with custom events
LabVIEW 8.6.1f1, Win Vista
I have an error an once-in-a-blue-moon in my program, I need to track down.
I have it boiled down to a simple test case, where the error occurs more frequently (but still relatively rarely).
I have a program called MERS, which is separated from my main code HDT.
TCM can run on a separate machine, but for this test, it is on the same machine, running under the development of LV system.
This test simply opens a TCP connection to the TCM, calls for a "signature", it receives and stop the connection.
The part that opens the connection starts also the TCM RECEIVER running, and kill the connection stops this receiver.
Here's the code for the main event, and you can see that I get an error apparently because I get no response in MS 2000:
---------
The code to GET the SIGNATURE of TCM is here: what it does is to send a request for the signature and then waiting for an event SIGNATURE RECEIVED by the RECEIVER, or a timeout 2000 mSec.
The error that I get (-100005) comes from there. If the TCM has failed to respond, it would look like this. Indeed, this is why the timeouot trap is here.
-----------
However, here is the code of the receiver and the Panel, immediately after a failure.
It is clear from the TABLE that he received the SIGNATURE of TCM TCM.
There are NO orders in the table indicates that the receiver was still running for 2000 mSec (4 x 500 mSec) after receipt of the order.
When it receives a SIGNATURE, the code written will trigger an event. No errors are reported here.
So what's happening? It seems that the event should be raised, but it is not received (Event #0 in photo #2 reacts to the event and returns the word signature, without error).
This happens not all the time - this case is broken loop # 211 - this number is between 20 and 2000.
With all those open windows in fact do more often: without them always fails, but she performs thousands of do loops.
So perhaps it is related to the CPU bustle.
I checked that there is no error with the function SAVE of EVENTS, even when it fails.
I come back to the fact that the PICTURE in photo #3 says that the signature was received, but it seems that the EVENT did not get generated or received.
What are the causes that?
Is it possible that, since the receiver is dynamically loaded and run, that things are not really created and ready when he says they are?
OK, that seems to have fixed. -He managed 5000 loops, with the windows open and no failure.
How completely obvious it sounds, when I put it in words:
Don't ask a question until you are ready to hear the answer.
The revised registers for events and THEN asks for the signature.
So, when the answer comes, even if it is immediately, you're ready.
Don't ask a question until you are ready to hear the answer.
Don't ask a question until you are ready to hear the answer.
Don't ask a question until you are ready to hear the answer.
Don't ask a question until you are ready to hear the answer.
Don't ask a question until you are ready to hear the answer.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
It is a very common bugcheck. Usually the PIN address of exception
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
and the date of the picture link / driver that contains this address.
Some common problems are the exception code 0 x 80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system has been started
/ /NODEBUG. It is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
breakpoints coded hard in retail code, but...
In this case, make sure a debugger must be connected and the
system startup/DEBUG. This will we will see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, the unhandled exception code
Arg2: 8736d01a, the address that the exception occurred at

CBS / CSI errors resulting in a failed Windows Update 80070490
Hi people,
Using Vista 32 bit: I met 80070490 error when you try to run Windows Update.
I've tried a few things first Base: reboot, etc system restore, but no joy.
I tried to run the Fix It of MS tool, but I can't get this to work, because it will not install Powershell...
The MS article for this error http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-vista/Windows-Update-error-80070490 suggested that I run the system update readiness tool, which I did. While this has not resolved the problem, does the log file contains information about errors of CSI and CBS.
Below is the content of the CheckSUR.log.

The same article also suggested a repair of Windows, but when I try to follow the tips in the article, I cannot perform an 'Upgrade', so that was a dead end.
I found another article, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2509997 and I have tried SFC.exe (method 3), but this has reported no problems.
I'm only a bit technical, and the rest of the article seems a bit daunting, so I thought post log files and to see if anyone has any advice, I could not find another question in the forums that had the same problem as mine (and Vista)
Thanks in advance for any help...
Hello
This is MS information about uninstalling Service Packs.
Method 1 or 3 are methods to use, method 2 is not possible because the system restore would be too far back the Restore Points for the installation of SP2 reverse this way.
And I've never had to use method 3.

Get the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error with blue screen
Hello
I get the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error with blue screen when I start the machine.
STOP: 0X0000000A (0X00000000, 0X804DC11D, 0X00000001, 0 X 000000002)I can't connect in Debug Mode. I tried winDBG, but cannot interpret the output (output is attached below). There was no new HW SW or recently installed or when this error occurred.
I also tried to run Verifier.exe with the option "Select all drivers installed automatically on this computer" and as soon as I chose this option, another mistake (and cannot change this option), DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x000000D1(0x8068329C,0x00000002,0x00000000,0x89E4460A)Thanks in advance,

Error with Service Agreement using the Siebel EAI adapter
Hi all
Thanks in advance.
I am facing following error with Service Agreement using Siebel EAI transaction.
Error service call "adapter of Siebel EAI', 'Upsert' method in 'Contract Upsert' step. (SBL-RPR-00162) - method 'AssocCurrentRow' of the business component "Internal Division" (integration component "Agreement_Organization Service") for recording with search specification ' [name] = "ABC we ' ' returned the following error:"the selected record has been deleted by another user since it was recovered. Please continue. (SBL-DAT-00494) "(SBL-EAI-04451)"
Previously, we used to create agreements with sync transaction EAI with ID "User1" that has "ABC we ' as an organization. Now, we moved the EAI Async transaction. Even if we use "User1" to trigger transaction because it is asynchronous recording of the agreement is created using SADMIN user who has a different organization. To set the good organization, we have added the IC of the IO organization and the sending of the Organization as "ABC we.
I guess, at the time of the transaction, the Organization "ABC we ' which is defined using IC is removed as siebel tries to define the Organization agree with the SADMIN organization.
Please help me solve this problem.
Kind regards
Vincent

The service URL used in datacontrol call failed with code of State 404 not found
Hello
Using JDeveloper 12.1.3.0
I'm creating a rest using EJB WebService.
When I test my service it works fine but when I added it to the customer, what finish loading it return me this error
The method that I created in the service requires two arguments, BigDecimal and String
@GET @Produces("application/xml") @Path("/{key}/{name}") public UsersList checkUser(@PathParam("key") BigDecimal key, @PathParam("name") String name) { UsersList listOfUsers = new UsersList(); listOfUsers.setUsersList(SessionBean.getUsersCheck(key, name)); return listOfUsers; }
but in my DataControl, it appears in the customer like that
I created all on again once the Client and it always seems that way.
Is the link that I defined in the service will not / {keys} / {name} or in the datacontrol /##key #/ ##name #?
Thank you
I discovered what I was doing wrong, sort of wheel, I tried to create a search query by using the arguments of the functions like @PathParams instead of using @QueryParams, so when I tested it I was inserting the values into the path because there was no form of insert values.
Like this
@GET @Produces("application/xml") @Path("/getname/") public CusttypList getByName(@QueryParam("name") String name) { CusttypList listOfCusttyp = new CusttypList(); listOfCusttyp.setCusttypList(SessionBean.getCusttypFindByName(name)); return listOfCusttyp; }
With regard to the release I had to create the schema of an object by hand, using the portion of the schema that is generated by jdeveloper when I called count with all function.
Thank you for your help
