  I'm having a small problem. When I draw something with the pen tool, I used to lock this layer and then draw on another layer and then I used to see the anchor points of the previous layer or the path of the mouse on it. It has now disappeared.

  I think I have the solution.

  In Applications | Photoshop it is a local folder containing the language packs.  My original installation has a record en_US.

  I have a German version of Photoshop installed, copied the de_DE folder out of this locale folder in the location of origin outside my English version.  I started Photoshop, went to preferences and presto, there was the option of second language.  After the restart of Photoshop, Adobe wonder a serial number. Pretty ballsy, in my opinion, but given that my University buys the serial numbers on the quantity discount... I entered a German series and I can switch between versions.  So far, I have not problems.

  In hindsight, this solution is quite elementary.  I have a Photoshop installation, (relatively) weak economy 600 MB on HDD of my MBP.  Once again, pretty cheeky for Adobe to require 2 licenses for this, but the payment of my employer, I really care.  My question for you, why is it not a better documented procedure or a feature of rather normal installation?

• Where is the dialog box stars and polygons to change the number of anchor points on a custom shape? I can't find it anywhere!

  I need to change the number of points in the star, I have created or a polygon. I can't find the box where you change than any where in Illustrator CC. In the previous version of Illustrator it always popped up after that I created the form, but now I can't seem to do it in the CC version.

  Double click on the tool before using it or use the arrows as you draw to change the number of corners or cmd/ctrl and drag to resize the outer circle independently of the inner circle.

  I wonder if the setting "tolerance"in the preferences only works for the arrow tools?» I put it to 8 pixels and it seems OK for these tools, but when I use the tool 'Convert Anchor' point it is incredible difficult to hit a point for me.   I agree, it is sometimes difficult to click on the sweet spot. Here are 3 proposals:

  1. Pay attention to the cursor icon. This will change when you are on a point anchor or direction.
  2. Try to turn on 'bearings commented. They can be a nuisance, but they are sometimes useful.
  3. Use the button "convert" on the Options bar. They may take a little longer but they are full-proof, moreover, you can convert or remove several selected points simultaneously using this method.

  

• Can I get Muse to force the browser to load the page to a specific anchor point?

  IM want to make a large page and use anchor points to reach different parts of the info. But I would like the page to load in the Center. Then, the user could choose either to the right or left on the page via anchor point buttons.

  A small sub, I also is: you can tell muse to load some images before the others? On slow internet connections, it is key to make the user who loads the page and not only gliching.

  Yes! All you have to do is to put an anchor at the top of where you want the page to load, then the link that goes to this page. connect to the anchor instead of this page!

• Eraser tool connects the anchor points on a path

  Hi all.  I am working on a logo and can't clear the path of a circle.

  Here's what I did:

  First of all, I did an ellipse, then cut a piece of it with scissors so that it looks more like a 'C '.  Then, I used the pen tool to draw an upside-down 'v' in intersection with the circle. I'm trying to erase a little bit of the upper part of the circle, to make it line up with the vertical line of the "v", but whenever I try to use the eraser, he will eventually draw a line that connects two ends of the shape's anchor points, I just created.  Can anyone help?

  Now, before someone tells you, go to view-> Show Edges, it is not that. A strange thing happened where if I have my black arrow tool selected anchor points do not appear unless I have hold the control button to activate the white arrow tool (or select the white arrow tool).
