Manually add exceptions of certificate

This problem is not the fault of Firefox, everything works fine in Firefox (Iceweasel) vanilla. My main browser is the "Light" fork of Firefox, but the question should relevant vanilla Firefox as well. The problem seems to be that the project has stripped the page "Add the Exception" of one of its dependencies out of the browser.

My question is: is it possible to add certificate exceptions to firefox without using the warning page? It would seem that it would be extremely beneficial to configurations in bulk and amnesic machines to be able to do it manually. The only true configuration in the browser in light is about: config and I don't see anything obvious here, but I'm no expert. Is there a configuration somewhere file that houses it? Can I somehow import exceptions of Iceweasel?

This problem affects a page that I have to visit dozens of times a day at work and I appreciate all the help I can get. As it is, I copy and paste the link and manually s/https/http/which is quite annoying, but it's always not close enough to make better Iceweasel, unfortunately.

If you cannot inspect the certificate by "I understand the risks", then try this:

Open the chrome URI by pasting or typing this URI in the address bar to open the window "Add the Security Exception" and to check the certificate:

  • chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.XUL

In the field location type and paste the URL of the Web site

  • retrieve the certificate via the button 'Get certificate '.
  • Click on the "view..." button. "to inspect the certificate in the certificate display

Unfortunately, some sites do not properly take their certificates. So basically if you trust the site, you can confirm the exception. If it is an unknown site, or you are not sure about, then cancel. Of course if you do not confirm the exception, you will not be able to see/use the site.

Unfortunately, certificates of do_not_trust could be a sign of unwanted software on your pc that is to intercept the secure network traffic. go to the system control panel and uninstall programs such as BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, backup or other software that seems suspicious and did not get intentionally installed by you.

  • Impossible to manually add network

Original title: manually add the network, select security to zero. Can't find not yet when I repeat the actions it says it already exists.

It is a network of comments at a clients office. The above instructions worked perfectly on my macBook, which is also sitting on my desk. On my Windows laptop but I do not see he had when I repeat the instructions it says already exists.

    1. manually add .

    2. Select security/authentication because NONE

    3. open new browser window. Accept the security certificate message.

    4. connect to the login screen of comments.

Nothing happens in step 3. Nothing called the foregoing seems in my opinion of networks in the list of available connections. WIFI is enabled. Airplane mode is disabled. Thought it might be my Norton 360 firewall, but you do need an internet connection to check that.

I confess that I'm not a frequent user of Windows 8. Any help is appreciated.

  • [Firefox [36] Impossible to add exceptions to untrust link with netscreen firewall

    Hello

When I go to 36 of Firefox, I "Add exception to untrust connection" problem with firewall netscreen.

The problem is that it will display the normal screen of "this connection is or trust ' with the 'Exception' button added to this Web site, but if I clicked on the button, nothing happened.

But this problem seems for the moment only with the web console for a netscreen firewall (the link is https://IP/nswebui.html), another website doesn't have this problem.

I tried to reinstall Firefox, but it cannot solve the problem.

    Would you kindly help?

    Thank you

    Daniel

Hi, I can confirm the following facts, and I want to be useful.

    1. Similarly, I tried Claire Installer Firefox 36 in a new computer, I can not even add exception to our web console of firewall (https://[IP]/nswebui.html)

    2. because of point 1, I immediately download Firefox 35 and downgrade my firefox PC, IT IMMEDIATELY WORKS AND CAN add THOSE EXCEPTION BACK, and now I can manage my rear firewall.

Now I can consider my problem being solved by myself, but if there is anything I can / helps to debug it, I'm happy to help you.

    Thank you!

  • can I manually add a workout to the application of the activity (e.g. swimming when I'm not wearing the watch)

Can I manually add a workout (such as swimming when I don't wear the watch) to the application of the activity?

    Hello

It is not possible to add workouts directly in the implementation of the activity.

Health and fitness data Apple Watch, iPhone and any other source are rather grouped by health on your iPhone app. Combined data is reflected in the application of health dashboard, which adjusts the results to avoid any double counting of data from different sources.

    To add a workout:

-On your iPhone, in the application of health (icon: red heart on a white background), go to: data on health (tab) > Fitness > training > tap Add a data Point > enter the result of your workout.

  • How can I manually add songs on my Ipod via Itunes and keep my apple music songs too?

    Hello

I am a music producer and I had trouble manual addition of my songs on my Ipod. I looked everywhere online for an answer and I can't find one. When I try to drag and drop my songs on my IPod in Itunes it gives me the image on my mouse in saying he will add it, but it doesn't do anything when I drop.

Several online forums supposed to go into the settings of my Ipod and check "Icloud Music Library". but I have an account of appple music and don't want to lose my music, I downloaded there, which is what tells me my Ipod is going to happen.

I am looking for a way to have my Apple music and manually add music on my Ipod even.

    Thank you

    Caleb

If you enable the Apple music on any content already on device can be merged with your Apple's music library. To add more songs to the device, add them to your library, and then download them to the device. You may not transfer directly from iTunes, but you should still be able to add one of your songs.
