  Something strange happens in InDesign CS3. Hope someone can help me.

  When I apply an effect such as drop shadow to an object the colors of all other objects on the page change. When I say change I mean almost like the profile (for example, RGB to CMYK) conversion. The colors change all objects on the page but does not affect objects on other pages of the same document. Applying an effect such as shade or gradient change the profiles of other objects color?

  Navigator th was easy as just point it to the data of the index folder.

  If you happen to use the DataFinder server, and if you are using only VBScript DataPlugins, then there is a function to automatically synchronize each connected DIAdem or LabVIEW client DataPlugins with versions updated on the DataFinder Server computer.

  If you use DataPlugins from www.ni.com/dataplugins, then you can have a VBScript that run at startup to check the local version of use compared to the version updated to www.ni.com/dataplugins and download the new version when it is available.

  If you use DataPlugins, you have created yourself, so the only thing I can think is to have a VBScript that run at startup that runs automatically the file *.uri every time that DIAdem launches, although having your use up-to-date on shared DropBox may prevent this option.

• Why are the HTML (and other) files in Dreamweaver CC not in alphabetical order?

  It's a royal pain to find a file without any order. The previous (CS5 and 6) versions the files placed in alphabetical order. Can Adobe fix this problem?

  Click the headers of the columns in the files window to rearrange them as you see fit.

  If you are not alphabetical or reverse alphabetical, they are probably organized by size, type, or change date by accident. Click on the "Local files" header to go by alpha.

  In the menu file-> Place. Go to your image and click in your page of muse. This places the image in the Muse. By default, all images are placed in the context of the Image.   If you place the image in the text block, so it is called inserted graphics and it doesn´t suppose to move around with the mouse more, it flows with the text.

  It s like a giant letter in your text.

  If you want to place your images in floating frames, Don t put them inside text blocks, drop them outside your page first, and then move them to the right places with the mouse or use X / coordinated in Control Panel.

  If you have need of your images still flows with the text, use the object anchor instead of inserted graphs...

  Your list of plugins in "Details of the system more" Watch 1.6.0_31 of next generation Java plug-in for browsers Mozilla for Java should not be blocked.

  If you have opened a project of the same name from a different location, it is when it shows the full path both - in this case showing just the name of the project would not help because it would be the same thing!

  I actually understand it. Not the best user friendly system. Where as before (CS5), I just had to go to crop tool and choose the dimensions and the inches now it in the window. Just really complicated for nothing.

  A html page is just code here are real or other pages on the page, just references to images and pages without images. So anyone to see your pages, they will have to be uploaded to a hosting server. If you download also the elements referenced in your HTML (images and other pages) the user will receive errors 404, file not found when they try to click on a link and you will see a broken image icon when the src attribute of the tag points to a file that has not been downloaded.

  Dreamweaver is designed to work locally, and then upload to the remote server. All the files of your site must be located in the folder your site root local and then downloaded to the root of the remote server folder (only local content is put on the remote for all paths remain the same). This remote root folder name you is given by your host and should be included in your Dreamweaver Site definition: helps Dreamweaver | GS-01: Definition of a new site. No matter if you keep all your files in the folder itself, or in sub directories that are in the folder root, although usually having at least a folder of images for all your images helps keep you organized. You can also use little or as many files in the root of your site as you want, as long as all the files and folders are uploaded to your server in the same location as your local copies, everything will work.

  In order to effectively work with DW, you really need to have a good understanding at least html and css (to a lesser extent, javascript). Take the time to familiarize yourself with the basics below...

• I have a picture in the current folder that I can use to place the image on a page, but it is absent, if I try to hyperlink to it.  How to solve that?

  I use thimbnails which has a link to the expanded images.  I just loaded several file assets intothe images that I can then open and place the image on a page.  However, when I try to hyperlink to this image, the image is not listed in the assets.  Any ideas as to why and how to fix this?
