  In the demos, that oracle provides a generic set of maps for Map Viewer, generally you World, United States, and San Francisco to the street level.

  If you want more cards that you need to buy or use Google Maps or another service.

  Oracle provides the tool, not the cards.

• Maps of analysis work is not in OBIEE12c

  I have some problems with OBIEE 12 c block, I wonder if other people also have questions. I did a default install of OBIEE on a Linux machine, it went well, but it's incredibly slow. From weblogic node Manager is also incredibly slow. Maybe I should try another installation on a machine longer?

  The first problem is with analysis, I can do the analysis and create a view of diagram of the type, but the table is not displayed

  In Firefox, I get a popup windows with this message: Fatal, the answer must be in plain text format.

  The second problem is with visual analyzer, no visualization type chart work but I can't do table table or PivotTable view, I get a different error

  It can be caused by a timeout because it hangs a little before this error

  My Server works without a graphical environment, but DISPLAY variable has been set to localhost:11.0.

  After I disabled VIEW and restarted OBIEE, graphic work.

• Map viewer editor do not work with Java 1.8.0_45

  I installed Oracle Map Viewer Ver11_1_1_7_2_B131022 on a server with Windows Server 2012 in a database 11.2.0.4

  It is the new version of Java installed 1.8.0_45 on the client PC.

  I can start the Administration Console, but I can't start the editor.
  

  What should I do to get the Map Editor Viewer running?

  You can try adding the following URL in the exclusion of the Java control panel security settings list:

• Integration of Google map with Map Viewer does not work

  My MapViewer Version: Ver11_1_1_7_B130111

  I created a Google Map (with the Source as "Google Maps" map Type) in the map viewer Oracle and I could see google map in Oracle Map Viewer (using 'show Map').

  I wanted to show a theme of map of the village on the google map above in a web page and I use Jdeveloper to integrate with data from the Village map viewer. I could see that the google maps within Jdeveloper however when I run the code Jdeveloper google map does not appear within the web page.

  I tried with Oracle Maps, Bing Maps as 'source' in the map viewer and tried to integrate within Jdeveloper and achieved the same result (white screen). However, when I tried an another mapviewer (Base map ELOCATION. OracleFMW MapViewer House WORLD_MAP) I could see the map on the web page.

  I could get all the other basic maps (created with "internal" as the source of the map") on the web page, so there is something that I'm missing with Google Maps, Bing Maps, Oracle cards. Could you please help me what I'm missing or point to a resource to help?

  You need a newer version of JDev (like 11.1.2.x.x or later).

  Geomap DVT (if that's what you use) includes a local copy of oraclemaps.js.

  This must be a newer version.

• Future of the Map Viewer

  I need to clarify the future intentions with Oracle Map Viewer.
  We have production ADF Faces + ADF BC application of visualization of the current map to running on the server to application iAS 10.1.3 and we plan to migrate this logical Web server, just to maintain it with 10g ADF.
  
  But we plan to develop new applications using new ADF 11 g and deploy it to a server supporting it.
  
  My question is: will be certified Map Viewer for some other servers outside the logic of the Web?
  The next question: the next version of MV also work on iAS 10.1.3?

  Hello
  The main components of MapViewer (map rendering engine, the map tile and FAITH servers) will still work in the standard using the JDK 1.5 iAS 10.1.3 WebLogic and other J2EE containers (JBoss, Tomcat). This is the case with the current 10.1.3 MapViewer version and will be with the next version (11g R1), in MapViewer.

  MapViewer has however also a web console component that hosts the different tutorials/api-docs and, especially, the web admin functions. This component uses the JSF/ADF web framework and thus relies heavily on the container J2EE had adequate support classes in this sense. Existing uses (10.1.3) MapViewer 10.1.3 ADF libraries, while the next version of MapViewer will naturally CHOSEN 11 g to use Rich Client libraries. Which means that the web console of MapViewer 11 g will NOT work in iAS 10.1.3 due library conflicts. The whole work is to evade the web console and use HTML pages out of style for your admin functions (or just edit the file mapViewerConfig.xml). MapViewer itself does not rely on the web-console to function.

  Bottom line, in MapViewer real functions should always work on iAS 10.1.3 (or other J2EE containers), while MapViewer web console may require special attention or workarounds depending on your particular deployment scenario.

  strikes at our 5 done row Bn collect distinct values and therefore blocks the bandwidth network.

  Then give me suggestions on the improvement of the performance?

  I have options

  1. I can remove the option. (- Not a good idea to hide the feature)

  Please guide me how/where to do?

I can provide tables/views LOV (cached) to get distinct values that will be added under table separate dim (1 col) that are attached to did the same collar and finally, expose the LOV table instead of the column column. (- Not a good idea as again once, we need to hit the very fact not used and above all, there is a JOIN that is not obviously useless for whole system.)

  3. as you invite, if the default option is available, Please tell me

  4. suggest me the best way if Oracle provided ha / you've used.

• Google maps view 3D not available with Safari 9.0.3

  I realized that the 3D view of google maps is not available using Safari (9.0.3) using the google chrome browser that this option is there and working. (I'm on iMac 21.5 "2012 with OS X El Capitan) Thanks for the help

  It has been like this since at least 8 Safari. It's that something ordered by Google. Safari displays the compass if you change the user agent for Chrome or Firefox.

  If you want to see the 3D option, go to Safari-> Preferences-> advanced and enable the option "see her develop menu in the menu bar. Then go into the menu to point and select "Google Chrome" or "Firefox".
