  HP Photosmart C3180, I had several years.  Recently installed new black ink 92.  Print alignment cartridge successfully page.  Whenever I turn on the printer to start printing, this page will be printed once again, my waste.  How can I get it to stop?

  The black inks and color print ok?

  Ink readings are an estimate and is not accurate.  I think that the reason why the printer continues to try to line up is because of the low color ink.  If you do not need color, you can see if the alignment stop if you remove the color ink cartridge.  They stop?  Is it the black printing ok?

  If alignments are continuing, I recommend to replace the color ink cartridge.

• I want to save as PDF has every time, no options in a drop down

  Recently got a new computer and now when I save a PDF file under a different name (Protocol reasons) when I click on save as it gives me a list of options in a menu drop-down: PDF, certified PDF, Reader extended PDF, optimized, Image, Word, etc. of size reduced.

  Is it possible to set a default value in the preferences or somewhere so it will record every time in PDF format? I'd rather spend the time looking for a way to save my PDF as another type of file and then pass the time by selecting PDF whenever I have save a PDF file under a different name.

  Even just hitting A, then P is getting to be a pain.

• Why my Windows 7 theme keep changing every time that I reboot?

I have customized the Windows 7 theme, but every time I turn off reset them to the default desktop background settings when I switich it turn it back on. The other parameters remain the same as the color of the sounds, screensaver and window, but why change my wallpaper? I saved the theme I created and continually delete one keep the laptop automatically create by default. How to stop? Is it possible that I can do my default theme?

  I experienced the same problem, but this solved it for me.

  Go to regedit > HKEY_Current_User > Software > Microsoft > Windows > DWM

  Once in DWM, right-click on an empty area inside it and create two new DWORD value (32), as shown below.

  Once these are added, right-click on them and click on change to ensure that the value is set to 0. Then open cmd (command prompt) as an administrator.  -Windows 7 users can open quickly as administrator by typing cmd in the start menu search box, and then shift + right click on the command prompt > open as administrator

  Once those who are made, open the start menu and right click on computer > properties.

  Go to advanced system settings. On the Advanced tab, click settings under performance. Change the default to Custom, and then hit apply and OK.

  You may need to disable a list item to hit apply, but double-check it after hitting apply first and then re - re-check the list item and click on apply. This will prevent the computer to change the custom to 'let windows choose what's best for my computer.

  This will fix the problem. Looks like a lot to do, but really, it isn't and is easy.

  You can correct this problem by forcing the blocklist.xml file to update or wait until Firefox updates the file.
  
  This update will remove the gravity = '0' flags in the file that causes the problem.

• Alignment Page HP PSC1315 prints every time the printer is turned on

  It's VERY frustrating.  After installing a printer driver updated to my new Win7 system and installation new black ink cartridge in the printer dang prints the alignment Page, whenever I turn it on!  I have "lined up" it several times and yet HP insists to waste my (money for waste of ink and paper) green, even though I followed the software and the instructions on the page to test several times!  Help!  It is rather ironic, given my brand new printing software (wow that download was enormous: no doubt inflate more software) has a button how to be green at the top right!

  I've been a supporter of long standing of HP that buying the products of your printer for many years, but unless this is resolved soon, I'll go out and spend double what price this printer and return the money to your Kumite.  This is intolerable!  I do not think that your software help consider even this oversight, oh, but I see that I can click on a convenient button HP purchase!  Furthermore, I'm not some neophyte with computers, I built this pc and many others before it.

  Have you tried that?

  1 turn the printer off and wait ten seconds. Turn it back on.

  2. let the printer print test page.

  3. when the test page prints, unplug the USB cable that connects to the printer to your computer. Not turn off the printer and unplug the cable.

  4. place the test page to the glass of the scanner and press the SCAN button on the printer control panel. The indicator light flashes while the page is being analyzed.

  5 remove the test page when the indicator light stops flashing.

  6. turn the printer off and wait another ten seconds.  Now you can turn it back on it.

  It is no longer printing test pages?

  Now, you can reconnect the USB between PC and the printer cable.

  Please post your results.

  I reinstalled the drivers, reset printing system, whenever I reload I can print a hp jet 4050n laser work.  Printer Watch sometimes printer offline, sometimes the State tells the sending to the printer never goes to the printer.  Restart and I can print a single job.  Help

  Me too, since 10.11.4 updated. I think it is a driver problem. Have another printer connected to the computer, it works fine.

• Alignment page prints every time

  I just installed a new to me out of the box PSC1500. On the first of each print job, the first thing out of the printer is a copy of the page of alignment ink cartridge; the rest of the work then proceeds as usual.  It's a waste of time, ink and paper.  How can I fix this?

  The manual explains how to perform the alignment.  After the alignment page is complete you must load paper and press the scan button as described on page 48 manual here.  Once the alignment is completed it will be not necessary again until the cartridges are changed.

• Photoshop crashing on Print - EVERY TIME

  Photoshop has been crashing on me whenever I print.  If I hit Ctrl + P, or go to print in the file menu it crashes INSTANTLY.  It is not even think first.  No matter how big or small, the file is all it blocks just instantly, regardless if it is a document with several layers or a small single flat image.

  I'm afraid I'll lose the changes when I try to print the forgetfulness of the question and printing accidentally before saving.  The only way I can print is to open the document in Illustrator and it is not really acceptable to me.

  Can someone tell me what is happening?

  I completely uninstall the program from my computer and reinstall to see if this resolves anything, but it didn't.

  Try the steps suggested by jbm007, if it doesn't work, I suggest you to reset once the Photoshop preferences.

  Before resetting preferences, please take a custom presets/brushes back that you created.

  And drag the settings Adobe Photoshop CS 6 folder on the desktop. (Make sure that Photoshop is not running)

  Restart Photoshop and preferences will be reset to zero
