MapPoint 2011 - rerouting a card

I was wondering if in the new 2011 mappoint, the issue slipped to drag and drop a property? I now use right mappoint 2009 and I get REALLY frustrated when I make a route of about 70 properties and I must move each individual property using up and down arrow, it would be very useful if I could just drag and drop the other property in the position I want.

I would like to know if there is a fix for this and I'm going to buy a few liscences.

Thank you

Blair summers

  • MapPoint 2011 will not install in Windows 7 x 64

    At startup, the software required the installation of Visual C++ Redistributable Package Office Access database, engine and Microsoft.NET Framework.  None of these homes would install so I downloaded from the Microsoft Web site and installed all.  However, the system does not recognize that the Office database engine is installed.  He keeps asking for it, said it will install it and then the bombs.  I have my antivirus turned off during installation as well.  The software is my Action Pack subscription and there is no possibility to download a 64-bit version.  I assume it would go on both systems of op, but...

  • Installation with MapPoint 2011 trial issues

    My attempts to install the trial version of MapPoint 2011 failed, even after helpful advice on this forum.  Please can you help me with next steps.

    I downloaded successfully the three installation files found here: http://www.microsoft.com/uk/mappoint/trial.aspx

    When I ran the setup.exe file, he gave the following message is displayed:

    "Microsoft MapPoint Europe 2011 requires the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable.  To install the jacks now, click OK... "so I clicked OK.

    He then returned: 'one of the prerequisite components failed to install.  The installation program will now stop. »

    I looked for the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable and downloaded.  Unfortunately, the installation gave:

    "Setup has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software...  A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable was detected on the computer. »

    I tried everything above on a completely new laptop, I had fortunately at hand, but the result was identical to above.

    I came on this forum and followed the instructions to a "clean boot" and re-tried the installation, but still without success.

    I followed the instructions to clear the temp folder and re-tried, but always without success.

    If you can suggest something else I should try to get MapPoint installed, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you

    You'll want to modify the setup.ini file and change the line that says:

    MSVCRTCheck = 1
    TO
    MSVCRTCheck = 0
    It's really as simple as that! It is a relatively common problem.
    Hope this helps, let us know how it goes.
    In addition, MapPoint 2013 is now out. Have you seen a downloadable trial for MapPoint Europe 2013?

  • MapPoint 2011 questions about Windows 8

    I get the following error message:

    "Microsoft MapPoint 2011 North America requires the installation of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable.  To install the component now, click OK.  If you want to stop the installation and exit the Setup program, click Cancel. »

    I click 'OK' and then get the following error message:

    "One of the prerequisite components failed to install.  The installation program will now stop. »

    Edit the setup.ini file and change the line that says.

    MSVCRTCheck = 1
    for this.
    MSVCRTCheck = 0
    Many people get this error, I think that the problem might be that you actually have a more recent version of the C++ 2010 Redistributable and the installation attempt fails.
    In fact, you just want to stop him from trying to install.
    Note that if you install from media DVD, copy the contents of the entire DVD to a folder on your hard drive first then you can modify the setup.ini file.
    I hope this helps!

    No sense to me.

    Sorry, but this isn't as this place is very well organized and it's where I was directed to.

    I called Microsoft Support and understand the problem while I was on my 3rd attempt to dial after having disconnected 2 x.

    For anyone else having the same problem: out the address information. Then the program is understandable.

    I know that it sells less mini but that does not excuse either.
    I just got back from GeniusBar which tells me that this has nothing to do. And present me a motherboard change quote the price of a new mini.

    I concede to Apple supports this remedy for MacBook and iMac to the same generation with a video AMD processor?

    Yes, some other users have posted the same problem and Apple does not have a recall/repair of the Mini program.

  • MS MapPoint includes territories under trusteeship us and Hawaii?

    We have programmatic data that takes into account the populations in the territories under American supervision (e.g., Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Marshall Islands, Virgin Islands, etc. and also in the State of Hawaii.)  Description MS MapPoint 2011 coverage States outside the detailed geographic areas of the United States, the Canada and the Mexico is limited to populated places and political borders.

    What does this too in terms of common sense.  To me, it seems that we could not use this software to map the specific data of the population (by type, density and etc. as it covers the postcode in the areas mentioned in the first paragraph.)

    Can someone check before you buy 10 licenses which will not serve full value...
