  • Print on both sides, Deskjet 2050 all-in-One J510a

    Hello

I have a Deskjet 2050 All - in - One J510a and I just realized that I can't manually print on both sides simply because this function does not exist on the print menu in the Properties window.

So, how can I print on both sides?

    Thank you

    Gil

So I guess I should be a REP from HP because these guys are not answering the question? If you go under Printer Properties Advanced there is an option to print only the even or odd, pages print the odd pages first and then put the paper in the printer, go to print click on main pages and bam there you go.

  • DeskJet 2050 all-in-One - J510: how to print without borders?

I try to print my project on paper to A4 borderless, but it seems that no matter how to change settings, the results still had a border. Can someone give me some advice on how I could solve this problem?

I print on Word, and my printer is HP Deskjet 2050 all-in-One - J510a.

    Hello.

The deskjet 2050 printer does not support printing without margins, as you will find by notebook loads below:

    Without borders: No.

    http://h20195.www2.HP.com/v2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA1-1465EEE.PDF

This material allows to print only to a certain margin.

The lower border is 0.57 ", the top border is 0.06 'and the left and right borders are 0.125. any impression beyond these margins is cut off due to the limitations of harware.

  • HP Deskjet 2050 J510a: Windows cannot update 10 driver

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and found that my printer is out of print correctly. I'm trying to update the drivers, however, when I try and uninstall the old drivers, I get a message saying that the software cannot be installed on XP, Vista and Windows 7.

If I try to install the new drivers anyway (I use "DJ2050_J510_1313 - 1.exe" (whose Web site claims is compatible with Windows 10), I get the same error.)

Any ideas how I'm supposed to install the latest drivers for this product?

    Hi @geoffwiand @mweaver1.

I'm currently downloading the software package for the Deskjet 2050 (file name: DJ2050_J510_1313 - 1.exe). Although I don't have the impression that is imparted to me, I was able to complete the installation of the software. I could not however, complete the installation of the product, but the software is installed without problem. In my view, the problem you are experiencing may have to do with the registry of the computer, or something else computer.

I suggest running the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker. If you do not know how, you can use the following link for instructions: System File Checker: run sfc/scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 10 / 8 / 7.

  • HP Deskjet 2050: HP Deskjet 2050 incompatible with the Mac operating system installation

My laptop doesn't have a hard drive, so I tried to configure the printer remotely by sharing the drive through another computer, but when I tried to install the software, it says "this Setup program is not compatible with the version of the operating system on your computer. It is only compatible with 10.6 and below."

Then, I went to this link http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Deskjet-2050-All-in-One-Printer-series---J5/40274... trying to download the software from the website, but was unable to do so.

How to set up the printer on my laptop if it shows that it is not compatible with my operating system?

If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "Accept as Solution" down below in this message. You can always try to open the software by following the steps described in this paper: How to open a developer not identified in OS X applications.

If the problem persists, I would suggest to download and install the HP v3.0 for OS X printer drivers.

    Win 7

I had HP printers for years and all my other printers had a setting in the sofrware who would let you print impressions in format post on multi sheets of pf you would then tape together. I find that on my new printer. I used this setting a lot and now find I need it again and I don't know what to do?

    Hi Susan,.

The print feature post is more provided by the most recent drivers.

However, you can still use the feature using an Alternative driver as a workaroud:

First step: check the current printer port.

Enter Control Panel > devices and printers.

Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.

Click on the Ports tab, and take note of the track selected for your printer.

Step 2: Adding a pilot alternative:

Enter Control Panel > devices and printers.

    Click Add a printer.

    Click Add a local printer.

Leave the Port of existing use marked, select the port used by your printer from the drop-down list, and then click Next.

Click the Windows Update button, leave a few minutes to complete the update process up to what the list printers appear again.

Select HP in the Manufactor Colum

  • DeskJet 2050

I have a printer Deskjet 2050 All - in - One J510 series for my desktop hp of p2-1310 with Windows 8. There are two things I tried to do with what I can't accomplish.
One, I want to know how to change the printing order. When I print a document with multiple pages, it goes to the rear by printing the last page first. How can I change the order of print first page first and so on?
And in second place, in the page range box, how to choose selection so I can choose the pages to print as opposed to print them all? How to choose Print current page?
These options do not work on the word document or printing from the internet? Are they not an option at all?

(Note: there is another printer option to choose printers and it automatically highlights HP eprint, that I don't have and can't use. in any case, there is a small green tick, so would that be a problem?) I must emphasize the printer hp 2050 almost everytime. Even applying it doesn't always work.)

I would really appreciate the help. Thank you.

Well, I can tell you right now, Blackwolf, that depend on most of the questions you may have about the program you are using. On that note, what program (s) do you use?

When you are in the print window, there is usually a setting that you can change to determine which pages or the range of pages to print (see below, Word). He may even on the order of the pages in that it prints. You would have to reverse the printing order.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/826218

They will work on programs such as Word (depending on the version), but with printing from the internet, I know options are limited and vary according to the browser you are using (like IE, Chrome or Firefox).

Let me know if it helps!

  • HP Deskjet 2050 'control panel' (for lack of better term) missing

This morning, I clicked on the link that was created when I installed my HP Deskjet 2050 and the 'normal' Panel controls color black and blue with buttons to click on for printing, scanning, check the ink levels and all kinds of other things appeared.  I used this dozens of times link since I had this printer, and whenever I was sent to the good 'control panel' buttons to make things.

I clicked on the "scan" button and went about my business-

I scanned the 4 pages of homework in a single PDF.

I went to my office and opened the .pdf to check the quality.  (I did not close the window of program analysis.  The Control Panel has been closed when open scanning window.)

The scanner has been created to analyze the incorrect page size (results of a project from the beginning fo this semester) and I re-scanned 4 pages to the appropriate size.  Saved.  Check again once, it was fine this time.  I closed the digitization program.

Later today, I clicked on the same link mentioned above, and for some unknown reason, I get a completely different screen.

To the best of my knowledge, there have not been change file (last was 16/11/12, which was certainly not in the time I found the control panel that I use usually missing) or driver updates or something of the sort that caused my "printing, scanning, etc." link to no longer open the correct control panel.

There is a "Control Panel" completely different available not an hour before that I started to see the Junk above.  (And the "Wizard of the printer" button above does - nothing - at all either!)  There are 6 or 8 buttons which included objects such as a scan of pages option and make copies.  The previous control panel was also much more black than white.

How to bring back the old control panel with other options?

    Hello

HP has released a new version of the software and the question that's happened as the software you are using is obsolete.

Please remove the software by clicking Start > programs > HP > HP Deskjet 2050 > Uninstall.

Download and install the new software below, which should solve the problem and bring back any option:
