  I am studying different possibilities of an approach of Master Page in detail:
  
  How can we have a Master detail page in the SAME page?
  
  If and only if the latter cannot be done, we have the details of the Page in a popup. But when we close the popup without (after editing details) how can refresh us the parent window, so that new data can be updated?
  
  Is there a way to do a Master in retail in the same page using show/hide properties, so when the user clicks show details details will be displayed. (using spry maybe?)

• Spry experiments Panel tabs and master/detail Page Set

  I created a feedback form and uses a Spry tabs Panel to allow users to review the answers to a question and then answers the question in different tabs, there are 6 tabs at all. In every tab I have created a Master / Detail Page set - well actually just the master appears in the tab. It works very well. I'm up to 20 answers to appear on every page, after which the user selects first/previous/next/last. When they do the screen refreshes and the tabs panel display goes back to the tab by default, clicking on the previously used tab correctly displays according to of first/previous/next/last selected user. I would like that the display to stay on the user's current tab when they select the first/previous/next/last.

  When I export and then import my request, master details page loses column on retail MRU on Version 4.2.3.00.08

  I tried to import and export in the same environment and our development environment to production environment with all the application and just the page and it still loses the columns.

  This is resolved.  There are two editable under conditional display reports and he used the second update report.  Changed to a single display report and he picked up the first editable report.

  Hi all

  I implement updated for logic with master-detail page.

  My expectations:

  Both master Vo and Vo of detail is executed with Set whereclause and line master and detail gets displayed.

  The two actions are required in the application process.

  Result:

  Executing query (even after call run the query for master and detail VO), master line get appears. Detail line is not displayed,

  

  However when the form application process is called (by clicking on the button Save), detail lines gets displayed.

  My logic to query example: (your have VL and EOs have AO)

  PR:

  Configuration where clause;

  I have a page with 2 legs and they both contains an af:table created by dragging an instance of VO in the user interface.

  The 1st tab uses a master VO while the 2nd uses a VO detail.

  Between 2 your, there is not a link of VO master / detail.

  Opening Details tab I update the secondary table by calling the method ExecuteWithParams of the detail VO instance (in a managed bean).

  I would now like to generate a report that loop on the master table and that, for each line of master:

  • He writes in the report;
  • loops of registration of details (which are based on the master record) and also writes the report.

  
  

  Could you kindly suggest me which is the best way to achieve that through a code to write in a managed bean?

  Here I am interested how do to loop through the data, not in how to write the report.

• The master/detail Page scroll, Incorrect rendering position

  I think that it is something simple that I am on and I hope that someone will be able to indicate what it is.

  I have a Setup master/detail, how they were created in the packed app go live Checklist for projects (see page 200) mirroring.

  • This means that my page template is a type of master/detail with a classic/region report selector in the master detail region. The classic report is set to not show in the region selector.

  Under it, I have several regions, each game to be included in the region selector.

  UPDATE: My first region on the page has several components display only in it. If I do not show this region then the problem of scrolling stops.

  My problem is when I insert in the page that the page is automatically past the master section, scroll up to the region selector. However I can scroll to top knowledge my master.

  Anyone have an idea what might cause this behavior?

  The Cursor Focus of page property is set to the first item on the page? If so, change it to don't focus cursor.

  In my case in the second page I can make changes in a Popup window, but the selected line (the secondary table) on the first page is displayed in the pop-up window

  I have a form with a relationship master detail. The main block is a rec_shipments of table of database with a primary key of the shipment_id and a bunch of other columns. The retail block is a rec_containers table with a container_id as the primary key most column shipment_id, split_shipment_id, weight, volume, etc. The shipment_id and the split_shipment_id are nullable.
  
  When a shipment is received a shipping record is created and container records are created with the populous shipment_id and the split_shipment_id null. Under the shape of what a relationship is created between the block of the expedition and the block container as shipment_id = shipment_id. It works very well. However, they have the ability to spit the original containers in small containers easier to manage for the distribution. For example, if they receive a railroad car full of pallets of printer paper they can take and divide the, 1 tray of rolloff half-and-half into another tray of mitigation. The bins of rolloff will get a unique container_id for follow-up. Registration in the system created in the rec_containers table will be the populous split_shipment_id and the shipment_id null. On the screen, they want to see the (railroad car) original containers and containers of split (ferries rolloff) when the query expedition.
  
  What they want:
  Shipment_id - and additional information
  ID drive to railway and additional information
  Rolloff Bin 1 ID and additional information
  Rolloff Bin 2 ID and additional information
  
  My problem is the attenuation of bins do not arise with the current relationship because the shipment_id is set to null in the 2 files of bin rolloff.
  
  I tried to create a view on the rec_containers table that is all columns in the table plus 1 additional column which is
  NVL (shipment_id, split_shipment_id) comp_ship_id
  
  then assign the relationship shipment_id = comp_shipment_id. I have the comp_shipment_id column value query Yes and insert & update or not because I don't want to not update this column in the view.
  
  The problem is I can't update all the columns, I get a cannot book record to update or delete the error.
  
  Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the block of containers to query all records where the shipment_id or the split_shipment_id is shipping block shipment_id and still be able to update the records?

  Your idea of using a view is the best approach. To perform the update block, you have OHS 'Query' property only for your item derived to 'yes '. Witn, the column will not appear in any other dml. On lock... maybe the forms is no longer able to make a regular blocking when a block is based on a view. In this case, put a LOCK ON trigger on the block and lock the record for yourself to SELECT for NOWAIT UPDATE on registration. Just try if it would work, you use a NULL value in the POCKET ON right to xheck if dml himself operations will work. If your view is based on a single table, you have a good chance that there is nothing to change, if you get an error like 'Unmodifiable view', you need to make some additional adjustments
  -Choose the Mode key for the block to 'uneditable '.
  -Set the 'primary key' property to 'Yes' for the pk-point in your block.

  Ok.. I want users to be able to update their information... Fortunately, someone showed me in the right direction on here to get started, but as I am new on this I am having trouble... I want the user to be able to click on a link change profile that will lead them to an editable form that is filled with current info... and if they change that info in the form it will change it in the comic book... I use MS Access and a single base table DB... This is the beginning of the code I'm trying to do some work:

• Several 'child regions' in a Master Detail Page

  I have a table that has 4 small tables with a foreign key to the main table relationship. I would like to introduce all these tables on a single web page for the update form.
  
  Is it possible to do this through the Create page Wizard?
  
  If this is not the case, what would be the recommended way to achieve this?

• Join page master detail

  I am trying to create a master - master - detail page in PHP environment that uses the Assembly between two tables in the same db MySQL.
  
  The first page (chessmenu.php - chessmenu of the recordset object) displays a list of the types of the Exchequer in a MySQL table called chessmenu in the db of chess:
  The 3 areas are: itemID (auto_increment), itemName (IE. Marble) and itemType (M)
  (NOTE: in this test, there are 3 rows, marble, glass and theme - itemType is my field joining, M, G, and T respectively - which are all unique)
  
  I want this first page a link to the next page and send the URL = chessboards.php parameter? recordID = <? PHP echo $row_chessmenu ["itemType"];? >
  
  I created the second page (chessboards.php - chessboards recordset) and let the FILTER in the recordset as follows:
  itemType = recordID URL parameter
  
  When I run the first page, displays items appropriate, however, when I click on one of these elements (i.e. marble (M)) it does not display anything on the second page. I ran the TEST query on the second page in the recordset of filtering, and when I enter M, it displays the correct records (2 in total).
  
  They would then select the type of Exchequer of marble of the second page, which would then send them to the details page (3 pages total, so my comment about master, master, detail)
  
  What I am doing wrong? I send the incorrect URL parameter? Any help would be appreciated. I thought I was following the instructions in the TUTORIAL on this site:
  "If the recordsets is different, make sure the recordset on the detail page contains at least one column in common with the recordset on the master page." The common column is usually the record ID, column, but it can also be the join field from related tables. »
  
  BTW - the two fields of ItemType in the two Tables are the same (CHAR (1))

  UPDATE: I figured out how to do this. Sorry for the useless posting.

  ANSWER: The above worked as is (I forgot to update the front page during the test after some change). To display correctly in the second page, however, DO NOT drag the fields as you would for a detail of the page. As always, the second page is a master page, create a dynamic table instead (this will allow you to have several lines instead of the method). The URL parameter will send the appropriate information to the dynamic table as well.

  You should not set DetailFlag = 'Y' in the whereclause, because there is no such record.

  Also detail flag are transitional attribute and not the query column, hence the error "invalid identification Code.

  I asked you to use DetailFlag as a column of query with the static value 'Y '.

  for example:

  SELECT 'Y' detail_flag

  Of

  This will display all the records in the table in expanded format. If you want conditionally then use decoding on some binding settings.

  For example:

  SELECT DECODE (: 1, "SHOWALL", "Y", "N") detail_flag

  Of

  This connection parameter must be passed each time you want to run the query for the table.
