  I'm trying to set up my master page with a few text boxes, but I try to get so that the text boxes I put in place in the master page, I can use and edit text in my Document. But what is the point of putting the text boxes in the master pages if you can't use them on your pages. This could be something simple, but I can't understand it. IM use cs4. Help, please

  There is nothing wrong with putting a text on a master page object. To edit a template on a page, command + shift + click on item.

  1. place the text boxes where you want on your Master.

  2. go in the 'Pages' Panel and highlight all the pages.

  3. in the "Pages" options of the sliding panel, choose "replace all Master Page items.

  Now, all your pages have a floating text box!

  I produce a catalog in CS3 on my Mac using OS Mavericks.

  I put in place of master pages with square 6 graphic blocks on each page. Each of them has a CAPTION below, in which I put up as a block of text. I clicked on "Apply Master pages", but when I go to the blocks of text pages are not displayed to the top. The only way I can enter captions on pages is by creating new blocks of text, 6 on each page, which is very tedious and time consuming. What I am doing wrong?

  As bob says it is not Quark where you can just click to type in a main frame, but you CAN Cmd + Shift + click to override the main chassis and type in it. You might be better off, however, with a framework prédimensionnée and style in a library that you can drag onto the page and position. My feeling on frameworks masters get substitution is that they probably shouldn't be on the master page at all.

  You must break your content between files and use the book feature to apply numbering to make look it seamless. Sometimes, if you can, re - organize the content so that all oversize pages come at the end of a chapter/file makes it easier to manage a such split files in the book.

  You can have fields flowing / more dynamic in a PDF of LiveCycle Designer form, but not in an AcroForm (only created in Acrobat).  LiveCycle Designer is a program completely separated used for are delivered with each purchase Acrobat Acrobat XI has been release.  Now you must buy separately.  But LiveCycle Designer PDF forms are wrapped in a shell of PDF so that they will be displayed and can be filled in the free Acrobat Reader DC and earlier versions.

  If you do this in Acrobat with an AcroForm, you have as much information typed into a field that the user wants, but he's going to show everything on the screen.  Displays only the text that fits into the field, then a + sign will appear in the field to indicate that there is more text in this field, you can scroll down to read.  You can also set the automatic font size so that as more text is entered in the police becoming smaller and smaller to adjust the text, but that is usually not desirable for many forms.

  I am very confused and I asked a similar question before, but I hope someone could explain a little more in detail.

  I created a new master with a header, the footer and the main content area. The main content should be editable for each page I add to the document, but I can't for the life of understand me how do! Has this changed since the first Indesign CS?

  If the header and footer will remain the same throughout the document - if I change this in the master it will then change throughout. The text box will also remain the same throughout, but I should be able to add content to this area on each page I create in my document. For the moment that I can't. It won't let me choose this region that I created on the pages in my document.

  If it should be changed for each page it belongs to a master. If you want something like "Click here to add text", you can simply ctrl/cmd + shift click to replace the item and bring it to the live page.

• My master made with a box of blank publication button below the content on child pages

  I did my buttons on main menu with an empty box of composition. I have the button on the B-Master page so it displays the same at the top of each page. When I saw it, and then click Open the buttons they seem to open a layer under the content on the page of the child. Anyone who is familiar with this problem and have a solution?

  I tried what you suggested, but I'm assuming we know different issues. I was, however, just able to solve my problem. I didn't know that muse has the opportunity to put objects on separate layers. Simply, I moved all my menus navigation to a layer above all of my content and that fixed my problem. Thank you very much for the help.

• When I print a table (multiple pages) the text box under the table seems to be moving under the table and prints with the table of this overlap. My only solution is to push the text box further down the page before printing... Any advice?

  Im having problems shaped a text box so that my table does not print right on top of it. I want it inside of my table (it's 'tems and conditions' budget)

  I face the same problem as well. Would like to know if there is a better way to get the text box to move with the table instead of the effect that overlap. Have to manually adjust the layout, whenever I want to get a reasonable print of a document (or export it to PDF) seems counterintuitive, especially when it causes the document seem ill-disposed on screen.

  I am running version 3.6.2 of the numbers in the case where that matters.

  In the documents that I have the conversion, many of the type is defined in master pages, if I want to add a command in the script that replaces all master page items before converting vectorised text, but I'm not find this command in the dictionary. Does anyone know how to do this with Applescript?

  The substitution command would be a good starting point. Try something like:

  Try the following steps to test...

  Copy the data file (expand.xml) to a folder
  Launch of LiveCycle Designer ARE and open the form ExpandField.pdf
  Select the range of "Data View" and right-click on "DataConnection.
  Select "properties of the connection.
  Click "next".
  Navigate to the location where you saved the file 'expand.xml'.
  Click on "Finish".

  Hello, all. Question on master pages and blocks of text, if you don't mind.

  I was told that I didn't draw a text frame on the master page, the margins are going to be the same size as my block of text. OK, hooray, set up the master page without a framework text (and according to a number of additional templates out of this).

  It turns out that I had to change the margins later, after the original text, I have had paid. The text block in the pages that have not changed, and I had to resize them all by hand on the individual pages... I couldn't do it on the master page.

  What I did wrong, and how can I avoid this in the future? Part, of course, do not change margins after pouring text. Heh.

  You have to turn on the adjustment of the layout in the menu layout, before you make a change like that. Blocks of text that align with margin guides will resize with the guides (and of course, this will change the text of an image to the image stream).

• On the Master Page items text wrapping

  I inserted a chart on both of my master pages and a dressing applied to them.  However, on my document pages, my text wraps not around the chart.  (In the text frame Options dialog box, the box "ignore the text not dress" is not checked.)  I know that I can either replace my page master points (and reinsert the graphic) or Ctrl-Shift-click on the graph and forces the text to surround.  But this puts another link in the image of my paper... and I'm trying to minimize the size of the file.

  Do you have ideas on how to make the text wrap on the work of master pages to the pages of document?

  Skin on masters is not performed on the live pages in CS2. It was added as a feature of CS3.

• RH2015 problem with text box placed remaining in Place on the Image

  Using RH2015 I find a text box placed over an image and set a trigger of the text in the content to the top of the image page to display / hide the (effect) positioned text box when you click on. The issue I see is that the text box is not positioned compared to the image on which are superimposed. Is the placement of a text box positioned compared to the outbreak, in this case, rather than the image you like? I use a reagent HTML5 output would therefore have a solution that would elapse from the position of the image and the changes in scale, remaining anchored.

  Personally, I have never had anything but bad using positioned text boxes.
