Maximize the size of the screen

How can I make the screen size of the complete available space on the laptop? There is a white sign on the right side of the screen which means that the total capacity is not used

Hello

It seems that you want to optimize the size of the screen on the laptop. Let me ask you a few questions to answer the question.

1. What is the brand and model of the laptop?

2. do the screen half appear when you work on your laptop, or when you play videos?

3 have there been any changes made on the computer before the show?

I suggest you to update the display drivers for the laptop.

Set the default display resolution and check.

    Hi charita21,

Thank you for using answers Forum.

How do you open Internet Explorer (Start menu, shortcut on the desktop, etc.)?

    You can try this:

Even if you have this browser open reading this post, open another instance of Internet Explorer 8 (IE8).
It should open IE8 in the smallest size, maximize the browser by clicking the expand, the top of the page to the right.
With the browser now expanded, close the browser by clicking on the 'X' at the top right.
Now reopen the browser by clicking on the 'E' in the quick launch by the button start.
    He opens enlarged?

    Your records are open properly?

  • Maximize the window in the LMS

We have a customer who needs to resize or maximize the screen whenever they launch a course because the LMS opens a new window that is the size of the screen without the TOC or the PlayBar.

It doesn't seem to be a way in IE to force a new window to open enlarged, except by on each individual workstation by closing with Shift and closing.  And the LMS gets all his information of Captivate - he has no control.

Am I missing something?  We have over 100 courses already loaded for them, so I hope we will not have to republish everything.

    Can anyone help?

Should be a "SCORM_utilities.js" file to the root of the published project.

In this file should be similar to the following lines:

    COURSE_WIDTH : "641",.

    COURSE_HEIGHT

    : "511"

These figures are, of course, specific to a published course I opened here to copy and paste from.

Rod response prompted me to check again and he's right, those numbers do not affect the size of the window. They do not affect the size of the actual presentation within the window, but not the size of the window of the browser itself.

But there must be a way for the LMS to the original size of the presentation to 'understand' - I know I've seen the scale of window lesson containing properly on launch with the lesson properties set to use the original size of the project.

In any case, the browser from opening to the size of the previous window's default behavior (try it; you can resize a window of IE, close and then reopen and it will reopen at this same size). So I would say your LMS is not passing anything at all to this content browser window, so it just goes to the default value.

  • ADE can't remember the size of the screen

    Hello

Windows 7 offers the opportunity to maximize windows by dragging the bar of the upper/lower window to the border of the upper and lower screen. It works even for CVI

If I have the environment option "Hide windows when the application runs" chose, after closing the application and return to the source code window, that it turns out that the CVI don't honor / remembers the size of the screen, i.e. the size of window CVI is not expanded more

If possible, I would prefer that it be fixed

Workaround is to not use an automatically magnified window... you are remembered the window manually adjusted sizes.

Ah, I see. You were referring to the maximization of the window from specific edge (enlarged only horizontally or only vertically).

You're right, ICB doesn't handle well those States of maximization. For example, if you close the CVI ADE with the window of the workspace in this state that is optimized in terms of edge, even if the window will appear to be the same size when you restart CVI, is more aware that it is being enlarged and so he lost his dimensions of original, not optimized in terms. It is no longer behaves as a maximized window.

The symptom you described is another manifestation of the same problem.

I created 437791 car to follow it.

  • adjust the front panel of the screen size and re - position automatically objects on different systems

Hello, I designed a vi which contains 5 led is placed at the centre of the façade that occupies the entire screen and 4 corners. However, this vi should be used on different systems, with different screen sizes. But on each screen, I'll need the size of the cover = size of the screen and the light to be placed in centres and corner of this new size of the screen automatically without manual operations and positioning bieng made every time. The option of resizing will perform this task completely or I have to go to some other techniques?

As far as I know, what you want is not easy to do but it's doable but you have to do it programmatically (no adjustment of Labview). Here is an example for only 2 LEDs, but I guess you'll be able to make it work for your other LEDs.

This VI maximizes the front and then positioned the 2 LEDs in the Center and top right on the race. LEDs are positioned according to their own corners left, not on the basis of their centers.

  • Size of the window - not maximized, but the size of the screen

I want my windows always the same size - the full measure of my screen.  In this way, I get the "see thru" effect at the top of the window of the program (title bar?), and the bright edges all around are also transparent effect.  Is there a registry setting, I can define or incorporate into a file of the script editor?  I'd rather have the effect of see-through, but when I have the maximize, the top of the window is black.  As it is now, I always grasp two corners diagonally opposite to the window, and drag them to just the right place.  Maybe there's an easier way? :)

  • Can I have a bigger desktop computer the size of my screen...

    Hello

I wonder if it is possible to have an office that is larger than the size of my screen? The thing is that I use the software (to music) on a regular basis, which produced many large windows containing my sequencer, multiple windows software synths and a mixer. My screen size/resolution is 1920 x 1080, but it would be nice to have an office that looked like at 3840 x 2160, so such as scrolling the mouse a border of the screen would scroll the office in this direction. In this way, it would be possible to access different software modules, without having to minimize/maximize windows or drag windows back and forth.

This feature is available in win7 or is there perhaps some piece of software that can make it possible?

    Best regards

    Thomas

    Hello

Even if you could do that, you should be constantly drag the window to display another area.

I would recommend that you get just another monitor. You can then activate the built-in function expand mode and allows you to resize the window to cover both monitors.

I do during the creation of dual screen wallpapers and it works a treat.

    Kind regards

Thank you for using Windows 7

More specifically, when I change the screen full-size and vice versa full to view normal change it is significantly more slow then before. I don't see this problem on Chrome or IE9 and he started with the 42 FF update. Must be something the way FF42 manages the resizing of the screen. I look forward to comments from person. Thank you

  • I did the screen too small (using about: config) and lost the address bar and all the menus. How to restore the display on a screen size can be used?

I changed the size of display screen using about: config, as stated in the other answers help. After you use a value of 1.0, such as recommended, I've experimented with other sizes, because it seems small. I have entered a large number by chance (a typing error) and made the display so small that only a bug could read. And I lost all the features: bar address, menus, home, Favorites, settings icons.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, thinking that this would fix it. But the new facility displays the same way: unreadable and no functionality.

I found instructions on resetting to the factory settings, but cannot perform this task because I have to be able to access the menus to do so.

  • page titles have begin showing the size of the screen

    Hello

Since this morning all my tabs display the size of my screen to the page title. Thus, when normally in Firefox, you would see the page URL title both in the upper part of the browser, as well as on the tab. Now, all I see here is 1263 x 708 [1263 x 484]
I have no idea where it comes from and no idea who to get rid of him. It is disconcerning for my clients, which I show my work, thinking I would come with those keywords shone in the title, I now can't even show them...

    Can someone help me please?

    Jen

I don't know if it's relevant, but I noticed that the Responsive Design View tool displays dimensions. For me, the dimensions appear in a border around the page, not in the title of application or on the tab bar.
