  In the end, I went through the process of "update" in Mackeeper and even if there is nothing relevant that I could see - somehow I managed to connect!

  -It was strange that I never had errors on the sign in at all... but if I went through the process of the struggle to sign as a reminder of the password request, it looks like my email address / iD has not been recognized - weird because it has all the same info/details usedto sign in on my ipad and used to buy all my software recently and in the past!

  Before reformat my PC, I exported all my favorites via the HTML file. I reformatted, installed Firefox, then attempted to import all my favorites.   I thought that maybe I could transfer the HTML file in a JSON file, but I couldn't find a way to do it, even after it is renamed file extensions. The HTML file may possibly be corrupt? I'm running out of ideas on how to do to import my favorites!

  I managed to fix it.

  (1) I opened the HTML file with notepad.
  (2) I then went to file > save as >

    -Then changed the file type to, "All Types"
  

  (3) then in file name I named it Bookmarks.JSON

    -The HTML file now saved as a JSON backup and I was able to import it.

  There is still no patch or reason to explain why the backup HTML does not. I strongly suggest you Firefox fix, as it was highly agitation.

  Have a dual processor Intel running Vista with 2 GB of memory.

I hae take the drive HARD case and implemented it is powered, but there is no sign that it is accessed at all when the machine is running. It seems that ot could be the HARD drive, but I think that there is a rom on the motherboard, which is accessible in the boot process and I wonder if this could fail. I don't have a spare drive to test what happens then is anyway I can be sure if I need new hard drive or m/Board?

  While on the question - if I need a HARD drive, Vista is the one that crashed and I do not have a Cd with the machine when I bought it. Nor has created a cover of one!   Thanks much for the reply, but I managed to fix it myself. I put windows automatic update options, left my PC for a few hours, and when I had to stop, said updates are ready to install, and after restarting it installed updates. After that I changed the update options to never check the update and check the updates manually and it works perfectly now. Obviously, after having install Windows and you want to first update should be set to automatic and stay on the line for a few hours, after the first update, you can change the options to update at your convenience, in my case manually check for updates.

  I can't access my photos, videos, documents, etc. because I can't in my files anyway I have try. If I click on the icon in my taskbar Windows Explorer, it highlights as if it will open, but this just highlight fades and nothing happens as if I has not yet clicked (no error notice or anything).

  When this happened enough times, I tried entering my Start menu and search bar "search programs and files". He showed me the results of research (such as the names of files in the start menu), so I know everything is still, but nothing happens when I click on them.
