• Two different language versions of Firefox at the same time?

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. I have two accounts, one for me and one for my wife. She uses Firefox (Japanese), and I've been using another browser. But I would like to firstly using Firefox (in English).

  Is it possible to run two different language versions of Firefox on the same computer? I want to be able to run both at the same time... (So if I navigate and she wants to check an auction quickly it can without my duty close my browser).

  You can add - no.-distance to the command line to open another instance of Firefox with its own profile and run multiple instances of Firefox at the same time.

  I have two different construction for two different OS version of the same application.

  It's a build for v5.0 and one for version 6.0.

  So how can I download this two builds on appworld

  When you set your release simply add two bundles, for example MyApp50 and MyApp60. Download the file of cod for OS5.0 and speify minimum supported OS version 5.0. After that, download the 6.0 bundle and specify minimum supported OS version 6.0. And select all of the possible devices for two cod.

  App World will do the rest is the latest version that is possible for a given user, so users with 6.0 and above will receive 6.0 cod, while users with OS5.0 will receive the 5.0 file cod.

  .. then re-deployed java web applications.

  I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to the reasons why the enhardies above entries are always showing versions of different product versions that the patches were supposed to have installed.

  Unfortunately not every version will be updated when you apply a patch, it may be worth reading through a blog that I wrote on the version of the product - more to life than that...: include the versions of the product in the workspace

• Firewall settings universal for different application versions?

  I am release different versions of my application often enough and because the version number is the part of the name of actual exe all versions trigger the Firewall dialog box when the version of give is executed the first time. It is quite annoying and confuses the operators.

  The names of files that I use are as:

  -myAppV1.0.0.exe

  -myAppV1.0.1.exe

  -myAppV1.2.1.exe

  etc etc.

  Is there a disable the firewall for each application that has a filename like "myAppV*.exe"? Or maybe another way to get rid of this popup? (Using the same file name for the different versions, or completely turning the firewall is not an option)

  .. .and stop including the version number in the name of the executable file. The application builder will track the version numbers and same autoincrement for you, while signatures allow Windows to keep track of different versions of the same application.

  The way you are is inherently unreliable, errors and insecurity.

• Cod app and library can be for different platform versions?

  I am writing an application that must run on a wide range of versions of the device. Some of the application contains code depending on the version, but a little is independent of the version. Are there problems or special considerations for structuring an application as a main .cod file compiled for a specific platform version and a .cod of library which contains functions of "lowest common denominator" compiled for, say, 4.2.1?

  What you propose works OK for us.

  The library is developed in a different project and workspace, the "interface" between the use of the application and the library is the jar file, which is imported into dependent projects.  This means that the two become completely independent, and it is possible to exchange the library for a later version on the device, without changing the main cod.

  The biggest problem is multiple applications with the same shared library requiring different versions of this library.  This section of the shared library has been discussed widely in the DevCon, so I hope that Rim will contribute to this requirement in some way in the future.

• Impossible to compile for different JRE versions

  I'm trying to compile for different versions of JRE Blackberry that is 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 and 5.0. I chose the JRE version in a Configuration set, but when it is compiled is showing version 5.0 in deliverables/Standard. That's why on the installation of this application is in error "no additional applications can be found." Please help me out, I've also read several post but not able to find the solution.

  Do you mean that you can install the application several times, but then, this Desktop Manager error reports after a number of upgrades?

  Are increment you the version number of your application every time?  Otherwise, it will recognize the same version of fix on the BlackBerry Smartphone and will take no further action.

  Instead of using the Desktop Manager, you can also javaloader to add and remove applications on a BlackBerry Smartphone.  JavaLoader is a command-line tool that comes with the BlackBerry Java plug-in for Eclipse and the BlackBerry JDE.  It is not intended to be used as an end user install the tool, but is provided for developers who want to quickly add and remove different versions of their application.  It is found in the following directory:

• Deployment on different device versions

  I would like to add a feature that requires ApplicationIndicator. So far, I have been programming for the 4.2.1 API and need for backward compatibility to this version.  ApplicationIndicator was not introduced before 4.6.0.  I would rather not confront users with the choice of the installation of two buildings separated according to their version of the OS. So, ideally, I would be able to create and deploy my application in such a way that it only tries to access the ApplicationIndicator if it is running on 4.6.0 or higher.

Otherwise said, it saves you from the obligation to offer multiple versions of your application, or it's simply a way to reuse the code in an organized way? Article provides many examples of code, a lot of details, like how to implement compile paths and "References of project" - what are doing by the way?-are absent.  Also, what is the end result of that look of the approach regarding files jad and cod for the deployment?

• Adding a secondary WLC with different software version

  Soon I will deploy a secondary WLC (primary, active) with the version of the 7.4.121.0 software

  I know that the upgrade to secondary WLC can be provide by WLC primary only.

  So, how can I do this?

  1 - downgrade the WLC secondary to the 7.0.240.0 and the controllers of the pair of two or

  2 - controllers to couple the two and to match the two controllers (perhaps with questions)?

  And it s necessary in both controllers have the same version of software images (boot primary and secondary boot)?

  It is necessary to have the same version of code... because if ap moves one wlc to another, they will have to be upgraded and or downgrade, which can take 5 minutes or more.  This will affect your end users.  The WLC should also be the same model... well its recommended.  But if your current wlc does support the latest code, then your new wlc will have to be downgraded.

  MS SQL at both sites, 2005 SP4 and 2008R2. It is a requirement that the same version of the database is used at each site. ?

  I have an 11.5.9 EBS system running on version of RedHat 3AS. I was assigned to clone a new EBS system to different host.
  But now I don't have RedHat 3AS install media just version 3U9 AND version 4.
  Can I clone this system of different version of the OS or do I keep the version of the os are the same.

  You can use quick Clone until the target OS is binary compatible with the source one.

• Different flash version numbers reported

  I feel a strange anomaly in the reported for Showckwave Flash version numbers.

  If I go to the Add-ons Manager (topic: addons), he said: I'm under Flash v. 16.0.0.296, but if I go to your checker plug-ins online (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/), he pointed out that I do work v. 16.0.0.305 - which is also what is reported by the Flash applet in the control panel.

  If you can tell me why there is this difference and how to fix it?

  Hi Martin, who are normally the same.

  Have you left and started Firefox back up again since your last Flash update? It is possible that the addons page has not caught up with what is actually on the disc now.

  You can also check to see if you have both of these files in the usual place:

  C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
  

  The plugin files used by Firefox follow this naming scheme:

  NPSWF32_16_0_0_305.dll
  

  When the four-part version number varies. You need only the most recent if there are multiple matches to this model.

• Why can't I open an email in zoho? Occurred on 2 different computer, different from firefox 2 different OS & version 2. And it's not zoho.

  I could connect to zmail of zoho and retrieve my mail but I could try to open 20 times, but I have nothing, not even an error message. I went into my settings on zoho and couldn't find anything that would cause it. So I connected my cell and no problem opening. So I tried to find an answer on your site of troubleshooting, but the only thing I found was reset and I tried, but same problem, I see nothing else wrong with it, but I do not always use all the capabilities of firefox.
  The 1st time was on my desktop with Win7 and firefox v.20. I removed it and put v.15 in (Icouldn t find anywhere a v.17) 2nd time was on my laptop with Vista and firefox v.15. (I've installed this version once I changed the desktop computer. I'm a big supporter of mozilla and Firefox. I hate IE - any version. It would kill me to go to this extent, but that's enough to seriously consider finding something else. I'm at halfway to crazy in a good day so its not that far from go if I am driven crazy.
  I also find firefox wont close completely unless I go into the Task Manager and ending the process, on both systems.

Now, I want to give this laptop of my father who is living in Poland and the Polish language, so I have to install Windows Polish version. Should I install the drivers another? If so, drivers for Pavilion dv7-4140ew (only this version of dv7-4100 have drivers for laptops designed for the Polish market) will be OK? Can I install Windows 8? In general - what should I do?
