my media player won't burn a disc. It gets about thirty percent through, and then stops
I tried to burn a CD of mixes for my friend, and I got music files lined and ready. I put the blank CD - RW disc in and hit burn. It takes about thirty percent before it stopped, whenever I tried, and I even switched to a new drive and had the same results. I really need to make this CD, but I don't know why it does not burn.

Windows Media Player won't rip CD more. I put it in MP3 format. I get the COOD1OD2 error message, and by virtue of the clarification it indicates that the error message is COODOFBO which says that the setting of the CD in Device Manager do not match parameter of cd in the drive. I use to be able to rip the CD months ago. I just upgraded to WMP 11 because the sansa clip has not been recognized and updated WMP. How can I fix this.
Thank you

Media Player was working fine until recently. Now when I hit the button "Start burn" the burn starts momentarily, the time of the audio files is displayed, but when I insert the CD in the drive, it reads 'CD error' and there is no sound. I recently installed a new security package (Webroot) but none of my other software has been affected. Tab of computability, I noticed that it is set to windows 95 (I have windows 7), but the program does not allow me to change it. I checked for driver updates, but the computer says that all drivers are current and the device works correctly. any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Windows Vista operated computer that has worked well so far, now Winsows Media Player does not recognize my burner. Tried to do the upadting for my burner,
but said that everything is up to date, can someone help me?
Hello
You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
correctly.Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.
Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.
CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.Several good info here:

This troubleshooting could not help if there is alignment and/or wear issues however it
a shot.Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs
