  Sorry about that but I have another question - I synced a few of my itunes playlists on the map and I can see and play the songs on playlists, but I can't understand for the life of me how to to move to the next song to unlock my phone, go back to the media player and then manually choose move to the next song. Isn't there a shortcut key or cant I double click on my headphones as I do with my iphone? Or am I the only one blackberry user suffering of TDA who likes to jump through their playlists sometimes?

  Audio and video files

  • To stop an audio or video file, press the Mute button on the top of your BlackBerry® device.
  • To resume playback of an audio or video file, press the Mute button again.
  • To play the next song, press Volume to the top on the right side of your device.

  I was wondering if anyone knew a way to change what is the shortcut key to player of media on the laptop itself? I have the power button / stop, Internet, Media Player, Play/Pause, Stop, Rewind and fast forward, but the Media Player shortcut key is pretty useless to me and I would like to change its function, to open Outlook instead, but nobody knows if it's even possible?

  I do know that if this is possible, I wanted to be able to change the keyboard shortcuts used in Windows Media Center.

  I could not find how to do this on the forum. The reasoning behind it, is that I use my cell phone as a Bluetooth remote, and current controls, I, has a 'ESC' key, but none touch "BACK".

  I am often embarrassed by Windows Media Center that opens unexpectedly when I type a shortcut (Windows key + Alt + Enter, I think).   I'm sorry but it is not possible. It's normal.

  Some keyboard keys are universal, and we cannot turn it off.

  Do you mean the command buttons from Toshiba which control the WMP function such as play, pause, stop, etc.
  On some Toshiba laptops, Toshiba command buttons can be configured manually.
  Please check in the control-> Toshiba Panel controls.

  If you won't be successful I recommend reinstalling the Toshiba utility again

  I think have deleted by mistake all my HKLM startup. I managed to restore the necessary executables to start manually but it seems to me miss a very important piece of the puzzle. More precisely the file executable (or Department) responsible for the Qosmio multimedia shortcut keys and remote.

  If anyone knows which executable (or service) is responsible for the press shortcuts keyboard/remote control I would appreciate their help to remedy this situation. Also if anyone has the startup configuration by default (see msconfig) to a Toshiba Qosmio G20-126 that would be also a great help for me. Just in case I missed something else.

  One question; Why you n t use the tool system restore to restore the OS to the point where you have changed the registry entries?

  I have a satellite with the buttons of soft touch media players. All the buttons work for the track selection and the launching of Media player, but the mute button actually launches Internet Explorer rather than mute.

  The "Controls Button from TOSHIBA" utility allows you to modify the application to launch these buttons.

  Look in Toshiba Assist under the Optimize section.

  (this is for XP, it may be different in Vista, take a look in the start menu-> programs-> TOSHIBA)

  I'm downloading files from my local library - and have done repeatedly, the latter got the message above pop - up - I use Vista SP2 with IE9. My Windows Media Player is the version 11.0.6002.18311 and is up-to-date with downloads of security, made through software OVerdrive console and WMPlayer.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the OverDrive console to get the latest version.  The libraby HE cannot stop and OverDrive don't seem much help.
