  Did someone else annoyed with back to a drop down for selection type media (TV, movies, music, etc.)?

  Bad choice for ease of use - please come back by showing all media types - this isn't like iTunes is default screen real estate in this area...

  I like the new way better.  The buttons were too small, and some of the icons were not obvious just by looking at them.  Now it says clearly music, movies, TV shows, Podcasts, audiobooks, iTunes U, etc...

  If Apple had done this way first and then switched to the buttons, you would say, "What is the problem with these little buttons?"

• LaserJet MFP M176n Pro: media type settings

  I use a Color Laserjet Pro M176n MFP printer on my home network with a Macbook and an iMac desktop computer. Printing from the iMac gives me about 10 choices of the media Type box. Printing from my Macbook makes about 40 choices. How to make the full choice of types of media on my desk? I'm trying to print on a media unavailable in the shortlist. I must have set it up in the past on the Macbook, but do not remember how. Please can someone help?

  The last idea that would be associated with printer would be to uninstall drivers and reinstall them. You can download the most recent drivers by clicking on this link.

  If you still do not see the same options on Mac after doing this, the next step would be to Contact Apple support that something is wrong with your printing system or the operating system.

• C#, UCCX, Rest API, PUT (update a resource) and not taken media Type supported

  Hi, I'm developing an application to update the skills of resources with the REST API.

  I can get all the values I want to (GET), but when I try to update a resource using PUT, and then I get a "415 Unsupported Media Type" webException.

  I discovered that c# / UCCX works with demand. MediaType (instead of request. ContentType).

  I got this error when I tried to GET the data. He now works for the GET.

  But to PUT it, I got the error. Method is defined as SAID, MediaType = "application/xml".

  I tried to empty, ' text/xml '...

  Looked on the internet, Web sites, saying always specify ContentType/MediaType = "application/xml", I have already done.

• HELP blackBerry Smartphones ' unsupported media type: application octet_stream "?

  I just installed OK icon for USA Today on my "BOLD". The icon is there, but when I select it, I get "unsupported media type: application octet_stream" or "unable to connect to the internet, try again later!" The internet is fine as can get in simply by enetring what URL and it penetrates very well. Just does not work when you use the icon. I'm on BES, just in case this has nothing to do with it. Help if anyone can, please. Also tried with the NYTimes icon and the same problem. Installs the icon but not during the selection there. Thank you

• SOA 12.1.3: REST adapter generates or execution "" unknown media type "Exception"

  Hi all

  We are working with a client looking to migrate from BPEL 10 g to Oracle 12 c. The current implementation incorporates a number of RESTFUL services through JAVA components that are called via BPEL. We seek, as part of the migration to migrate and simplify these with the use of new adapters REST. The use cases and the question is this:

  We have a customer who exposes a REST service via the usual principles. This service is provided by a 3rd independent provider such as an external service for 3rd part of customer applications. The REST service provides a number of resources and operations (GET, PUT, DELETE) to manipluate and retrieve data as directed by the interface that is provided.

  Based on one of these to MAKE Simple, we tried to create a new adapter IS based on the interface. The provider does not offer a w, so the REST adapter has been generated using the adapter REST within JDeveloper and configuration of the resources, operations, and application / types of responses as required. This generates the required w (see table).

  When you test the w via JDeveloper, the response is returned as expected. However when you deploy this SOA Suite 12.1.3, errors in the adapter a runtime. The error encountered is this:

  When you look at the response HTTP service through SOAP Ui I see the content type is set to application/atom + xml.

  After reviewing the Oracle Documentation, it doesn't seem to provide any indication on this issue or any possible reasons for its occurrence.

  Anyone had similar problems or shed some light on this issue? It appears on face value, that the adapters are not compatiable with this type of support, which can prove to be a big limitation

  I have been in contact with Oracle Support via a request of Service Oracle (SR). Development have provided a single patch to solve our problem. The patch number is 19580101 (Patch 19580101: cannot call REST services for mediatypes unsupported) and can be obtained via the Support of Oracle (metalink)

  We are in the early days of tests; However, this seems to be addressed to our problem.

  I have a proxy work SOAP, the pipeline business.  I click with the right button on the pipeline and choose the option 'expose' that remains magical.  Although the help doc seems to suggest that I can expose a proxy like the rest, I don't have this option when right clicking the proxy - only pipeline.  When I send a get or post request via the proxy rest I get "Usupported media Type' OSB-380000?"

  I figured this out from another post on Google. I'll post the answer here, because frankly there is not much help on the web for the OSB with the exception of this forum and the Oracle documentation.

  I put a newspaper action on the demand of the pipeline side and noticed the difference in Content-Type when run from SOAP or Rest proxy servers by using XPATH below

  Although the proxy pipeline SOAP from JDev automagically, the REST proxy wanted to send this file xml Content-Type.

  The pipeline is limited to SOAP and disliked this XML Content Type where the media not supported error.

  So, I put an action to replace the first thing on the side of demand of pipeline and replaced $entrants / ctx:transport / ctx:request / tp:headers / http:Content-Type xml mime type of a mime type of SOAP - view text/xml not application/xml.

  When trying to play a video on a TV stations website I get a gray box that says "Media Type error 1009. Advertising that precedes the clip of new plays very well, but once it is completed, the sound is fine but the screen is black. No site that presented themselves. What can I do?

  There is a bug in the code that runs on the new site.  The content provider will have to solve this problem on their end.

• Media types acceptable for speech to text in CS6 analysis?

  Hi all

  I was about to show the speech helps the function of text analysis in CS6 co-worker and ran into a block for such a simple procedure.  We use a system based on PC with Windows 7.

  The bite of the interview that we have analyzed is in a P2 MXF format.  If I open the item in the source monitor, select in the project Panel or use the "Clip" Menu > > "Analyze the content", the "Scan button" in the poriton of the analysis of speech from the metadata Panel is greyed out and inaccessible.

  My first thought was that P2 MXF was not a media type acceptable for use with the tool. Then, I selected a clip Ikegami, who had been transcoded in SOUL to a P2 clip with practically the same properties that the clip of P2 MXF native that is desired for analysis.   Transcoded P2 clip has activated the button "analyse".  I have also tried to analyse a XDCAM EX clip native, and the 'Analyze' button was accessible.

  Here is a screenshot of the properties of the clip of the three clips here metnioned.  The clip onscreen furthest left is the native P2 MXF clip that will not scan.

  

  All thgouths about why native MXF P2 is not a type of acceptable media for the analysis of speech? Thank you!

  Well, I just had a hunch to verify permissions in Windows Explorer on the directory of head of the file directory MXF P2 that contains the item desired for speech analysis.  The permissions have been set to "Read only."  I changed this option to allow Scripture and apply the change.  Then I closed and reopened the clip in the Source monitor of the body panel and voila! Was the "Scan" button is gray, and I could start the clip parsing.

  I think it's particularly odd, because for all our types of media, including the native P2 MXF, we add metadata particuarly in the fields 'Description' or 'Diary Notes' within the organization.  The metadata is retained when these same media are reimported into a new project.  Permissions 'Read only' does not have an impact on the writing of the user input data.

  Again, don't know why it is isolated to only our MXF P2 directories, but at least I know how to work around.  Maybe that's a problem of Windows/PC-system?

  Anyone who encountered this?  I was able to reproduce this problem on two systems separate edit so far.

  When I previsualisez in dreamweaver in the firefox browser, it is displayed correctly. However, it does not display when I visit the actual page. I followed the instructions of troubleshooting here on firefox who said that, when you go to tools, then the Info Page, then clicking on the media, the Type must be read as an icon. Instead it reads the text / Html. could this be the culprit?

  It's a Sony OptiArc drive. Media supported are:

  DVD - ROM, DVD - RW, DVD-R (DL), (9) DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD-video, CD-ROM, CD-ROM XA, CD-Audio, CD-Extra, CD-Text, CD - I Ready, CD-Bridge, Photo CD, video CD, hybrid CD, AD - 7711H: LightScribe, AD - 7713H: Labelflash™

  As you can see DVD-R (DL) double layer is supported, but is not the case of the Blu - Ray.
